"Great Stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
Staff was friendly and professional. Riad was a little hard to find as there were no signs on the streets and the alley it's on is not marked. It felt like an oasis amongst the madness of the city. Would stay there again
"Beautiful and hospitable"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
Beautiful place and excellent service. Very kind and helpful staff. We had a delicious dinner here our last evening too. I highly recommend it.
"ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 23, 2012
A beautiful restored riad in the medina of Marrekesh...The furnishings and colors used were so beautiful and restful after all of the explosion of colors and sights of the busy (almost crazy) medina. Mandy, the friendly and very helpful hostess from Canada made our first visit to this wonderful city even better ! Breakast on the rooftop terrace with a rooster crowing nearby was like another world. There were several salons that guests were welcome to sit in and enjoy. The outdoor courtyard in the center of the riad had full grown orange trees soaring up to the sky with a beautiful fountain in the center.I want to return to Marrekesh and will definately want to stay at the Dar Hanane.

If you want to be treated like a royalty, this is your place; If you want to feel at home, this is your place; If you want to taste the best food in town, the restaurant in the hotel is your place. We will never forget the warmth and the hospitality we received at Al Fassia. Myra (the owner/manager), Sofia and all other hotel stuff will always be in our hearts forever. This is one of the best places that we have ever stayed anywhere in the world and certainly the most memorable. .
"Beautiful Riad, exceptional staff, very central"Reviewed by t T of "Atlanta, GA USA" on Apr 9, 2012
Beautiful Riad, exceptional staff always ready to help in a great location just 10 minutes from Place Jema El-Fna in the center of Marrakech. If we go back to Marrakech, we will stay at Riad Catalina again. Quick advices: 1. arrive in the day time, as the Riad is in the back of a little street, hard to find at night. 2. We recommend enjoying the breakfast every day, always full and diversified. A great start of the day. 3. The location is perfect, as you can get to the souks, the Place Jema El Fna, the Saadian Tombs, the Palaces Badi and Bahia all in 10 minutes or less by foot. Enjoy Marrakech and Riad Catalina.

"Magical Secluded Neighborhood "Kasbah" Get-Away"
Absolutely beautiful hotel with marvelous rooms, bathrooms, gardens, pool, and rooftop patio. Incredible service from the staff, especially the gentleman at the receptionist desk, who saw to it that every need we had was addressed. High quality spa and lounge - should not miss. The complaint that we had - and this was significant for us - when we went […] to check-out and pay for the extra services such as meals and spa treatments, they would only accept cash! And our bill was over $1000! We had to be taken to an ATM machine and withdraw cash from several credit cards! In addition, even though the hotels.com reservation indicated taxes were included, they were added to the bill - this happened at all of the five hotels.com hotels we used in Morocco. Having said this, this hotel is worth every penny! Read more
