The hotel has been updated to the new courtyard standard, however the hallway i was on and the room i stayed in smelled as if it were a former smoking floor, and not too long ago. This really soured my stay. But it is an easy stop off i70, and across the street from the Indiana State Museum and some other local attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful. One of the elevatora went down one morning around checkout time which was a bunmer.

We had an excellent stay and the staff went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met and they were very kind and informative as well. We also had our 5 year old grandson with us and he thoroughly enjoyed your pool and big comfy bed. Close to everything we wanted to visit and downtown Indy. Would definitely stay again!! Thanks.

We stayed at this hotel for the Indy Mini Marathon, the extras that the hotel provided was so helpful. They extended the check out time and provided a pass card for the parking garage so I wasnt charged an additional 25.00 for this. The staff was very friendly and helpfull as well.

St. Patrick's day weekend. We arrived downtown around 2:10pm. TONS of traffic. it took us a good 35 minutes from the HWY to turn onto Washington St., to see the PARKING GARAGE FULL sign. Wish there could have been some type of notification on what to do. Unfortunately we were already past the hotel entrance once we saw the sign. So we had to get back into the horrible traffic and circle around the hotel again. Very frustrating waste of a good hour. With all the text message updates, I wish there would have been a courtesy call/message telling us to use the valet service. hotel staff handled the situation perfectly. We used Expedia to book our room. The website indicated we received breakfast in the am, front desk said it was not included in our package. seems this is happening more and more with hotels. website says free breakfast and then the next morning you find that is not the case. We were credited for our breakfast, luckily I had the print out from when I booked the room. Very nice rooms, staff was wonderful. will stay here again.

When we arrived there was sticky spots on the carpet, but it was taken care of and we were offered another room, but we opted to keep ours. Free breakfast was included in our stay, and I must say I was impressed

Worst hotel for the money I found the 200.00+ a night to be way out of line for the quality of the hotel. I was expecting a full service bar and restaurant and all they offered was a line to the TGIF. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was a very clean hotel. The staff could have been a bit friendlier. One seemed confused that we was unaware of what businesses that was around us. The valet person brought our car around quickly but did not offer to help load our luggage or open the doors. And it was quite in climate weather The beds was not comfortable at all. I would not rule this hotel out but I would shop around for something else the next visit.

Beware of the $23 per night self parking fee, or $27 per night valet parking fee. Also could not connect to the wifi even though it was password free. Other than that had a great stay.

Clean, average rooms. Nice to be connected to downtown by skywalk. Anything sold in the hotel way too expensive so think ahead! Too small pool.

It was nice, clean, more average than I ex for what our room cost us. The beds were pretty hard. And the cable/satelite was terrible! It would glitch out every 20-45sec! We ended up gettin some of our room compt. I doubt I stay again. Average rooms with hard beds & no hot tub for adults to enjoy.

This was a nice hotel just over priced for what it is, a very basic hotel. Fridays was an adventure to get to in the cold which they advertise as being "in the building" but you have to walk across the parking structure and take 2 elevators to get there. The bathrooms don't have vents or fans, which is weird for showering and airing out the bathroom. The rooms were also very small but pretty true to photos.also there is no bar in this hotel like advertised! This hotel is okay, nothing special and kind of falsely advertised in a few different ways.

Everything was excellent but the room was smaller than expected. The end of the king bed was almost touching the side of the sofa...maybe an inch between the two. We could only walk along one side of the bed which was inconvenient. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Parking was full, but they directed us to the next closest garage efficiently.

My husband and I went to the PRI convention and booked almost in the last minute. We are so glad we stayed at Courtyard by Marriott, Actually it looks and feels like a Marriott. Everything was very good. I highly recommend it. And we will stay there next year when we come back for the convention again.

We had a great time - we were there for the Big Ten Championship Game. You can walk anywhere - or its a $5 flat rate for a cab anywhere downtown. The don't have free breakfast, but they do have a little cafe in the lobby area of the hotel that serves breakfast sandwiches, etc., to order. It was very good (I am a person that needs to eat when I wake up) I don't have any complaints at all. The hotel is also connected to the skywalk (if you didnt want to walk outside) Although I didn't use the gym facility, it looked like a great facility with new equipment and many to choose from. I would stay here again.

We had a nice weekend in Indy. The downtown was very busy for the Big Ten Championship. The Hotel was also very busy. Possibly a little understaffed for such a large event. The room was clean and comfortable. The Couch was uncomfortable and had mismatched cushions. The only real problem with the room was the shower door did not fit well or seal. This let quite a bit of water leak out on the floor. We were also shorted on towels and a bath mat for the second day. This would have been helpful for the leaky shower.

My husband and I had a two night stay. We were in town to watch a football game. Location of this hotel was great. We were within walking distance to the game and several places to eat and drink. We will definitely return to this hotel!

This is a great place for a business stay. I came for a conference at the JW Marriott but came here for half the price. There are 4 marriotts within a block of each other (the Courtyard and another + the JW all connected so you don't even have to step outside). The rooms were clean, modern and very comfortable. There's a gym and a (small) pool (that I didn't get a chance to use) and a small restaurant. The front desk staff where very helpful and friendly and even printed a document for me for free when I had errors from their PC at the Business centre. Breakfast ends at 9.30 though and then lunch starts at 2 I think; and there is no room service except for the evenings. But you can always eat at the JW Marriott. There is also a mall that you can enter from the other Marriott via a skywalk that has a food court. Another down side is there seems to be nothing happening around the hotel--but maybe this was because there was a major football game--everything was closed when we got there. So for a business meeting I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for business, and was satisfied EXCEPT that the wifi did not work. The hotel staff said that the hotel was overwhelmed with guests and that the wind also contributed to the failure. Not sure how wind affects wifi, but that's the story I heard. In all other regards I was pleased.

My son and I came to Indy for the weekend to celebrate my birthday by watching the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. We stayed at this Courtyard two years ago and liked it so much that it was the only hotel I even considered for this trip. To begin with the fact that you are within walking distance to the downtown area is great. There are restaurants, bars and nightlife, shopping, museums, parks within walking distance. Lucas Oil is a short walk away and the Bankers Life Fieldhouse is less than a mile away for those of us that love sports. But that is not the only reason we stayed at this hotel. The staff are friendly, courteous, and knowledgable, and will assist you to make sure your stay in Indy is a pleasurable one. The lobby offers places to sit and unwind, business area, and a Bistro with Starbucks coffee also. An area to get drinks, snacks, newspapers, and some essentials is next to the desk area in the lobby. They always have cookies for you to enjoy in the lobby. There is a nice pool and well-equipped gym that has available towels. There is an atm located at lobby level. The rooms are well decorated, the beds are very comfortable, with soft linens and coverings, 2 firm and 2 soft pillows. The rooms are very clean, and the bathroom has soft towels. Nice-sized HD TV, refrigerator, and plenty of outlets. I honestly can't say enough good things about this hotel. I hope this review was helpful.

I was there for a convention. Room was very comfortable and spotless! When we first arrived we were assigned a room on the second floor without a view. We were able to switch to a room on the 11 th floor with a view without any problem!

The Courtyard Downtown Marriot is a nice place to stay for anyone needing to go to Convention Center. It is also also close to other places of interest in Indianapolis. The best part of my experience there was the staff. Everyone, from front desk staff to the evening person at the Bistro/ café (sorry, can't remember her name) were always smiling and pleasant, and would give you their "shirt off there backs" to help you. The rooms are big and comfortable for work, including internet access and plenty of plugs for your gadgets. The bathroom was huge, and the water for your shower was nice and hot at any time of day (not something you find in all hotels). Close to many restaurants, easy walk or grab a cab (recommend walking). Also, being a single female traveling, I felt safe.

Excellent staff and location! TGI Fridays was right there!! No complaints except for no free breakfast:/ ... Not that I can't buy my own breakfast but it just makes things more convient! They did have a "café" but pretty expensive. Over all though an amazing experience!

My mom, sister and I had a lovely stay! The room was very clean and the staff was more than accommodating considering how busy they were! Since we weren't leaving town right after checkout they were happy to hold our bags until we were ready to leave. It was about a 20 minute walk to our event which was great! We would definitely stay here again!
