This was an amazing hotel. The service was impeccable and the rooms were dreamy. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. The third floor pool deck with swim-up bar and infinity pool overlooking the sea was a fantastic place to spend the afternoon. Sofitel was a nice experience. Very clean and located in the heart of Marina. It's has a French flavor to it and you will find visitors of mostly European decent. The one negative would is that it feels too European and takes away from the experience. Otherwise great.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the hotel itself was beautiful. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. It was my birthday and somehow they find out and sent me up a cake with a very nice card from the hotel manager.

This hotel is in a great location in terms of proximity to the beach and restaurants. However, it is a 20 minutes walk to the closest Metro station. The staff are friendly and efficient. Spectacular hotel. Wonderful service, everything was great. If you want to be near the beach and shopping and the JBL, perfect. If you are purely trying to see all the main sights, it is a bit out of the way to go back and forth. Probably better off staying near the Burj Khalifa.

First time I have booked a hotell and every wish I had was in order when I arrived at the hotel. Like two seperate beds and early check in. Has really nothing to complain about. Some small issues like they came to our room 5 times to ask if everything was ok. But after I put p no disturb sign there was no problem. I said the plumming was a bit slow […] and it smelled like someone had been smoking. The biggest two problems with this otherwise pleasant property are the lack of sufficient elevators and the construction going on across the street, throughout the days and nights. There are only four elevators for the 33 or so floors. Even the bags are brought up on these elevators because they have no service elevators. The restaurants are on the […] P3 level and when busy this floor monopolises the elevators. For an otherwise nice hotel, this problem with the lack of sufficient elevators is glaring. We left our balcony door open to enjoy the great December weather in December. I was there only for one day but I will definitely stay there again. I had great time, they extended my stay until 3:00 pm as my flight was late in the evening. Hotel was spotless clean. I travel to Dubai regularly. I try out new hotels all the time. I've stayed at the ultra high cost hotels like the Jumeirah Beach Hotel and many of the chain hotels like Hiltons and Starwood Hotels. The most bang for your buck is here at the Sofitel. The location is pretty good. The only things I would have to comment on are that you have to cross the […] street in front of the hotel to get to the beach as it doesn't have a private beach and the service people knocked on my door...a lot while I was trying to sleep. Sofitel Jumeirah Beach is simply a wonderful hotel. While it is situated in the middle of a part of Jumeirah Beach that is more reminiscent of a theme park than of the United Arab Emirates itself, the hotel itself is an oasis of comfort. The hotel's amenities are modern, clean and well-cared for. It has excellent restaurants and fitness facilities. […] While small, the pool is an extremely pleasant area with a view that will keep your eyes satisfied for hours and hours at a time. Access to the beach itself is perhaps the most under-estimated commodity the hotel has to offer. The area of beach close to the hotel is reasonably sized, not too crowded and the water is sheer bliss. Hotel rooms are perhaps a bit smaller than their price would seem to justify, but they are clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are also a bit on the shockingly small side, but the bath tub is a very comfortable place to relax. Great walk-in shower. Toilets are like a small, condemned closet with glass doors. There is not much offered in way of privacy in that regard, but after a day, it becomes less shocking a more a minor inconvenience. Read more

Ice Hotel, friendly staff great location for relaxed leisure. Lots of cafe's and restaurents just across from the beach. Great pool area. Nice walk to Dubai Marina. A bit out of the way for business. Balcony small but rooms are great, great bed.
