"Mycket bra läge"
Mycket bra läge med gångavstånd till de flesta sevärdheter. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Ok frukost. Sängarna ganska hårda . Rymligt badrum.

"Supert"
God plassering, midt i Roma.

"A charming European style hotel in a wonderful location"
07/29/15 Nancy W State College, Pennsylvania
Our limo driver could not find the hotel. Apparently the owners are not allowed to put signs up since it is part of a historic house (home to Garibaldi at times). We could not figure out how to enter until someone buzzed the door open for us. Our room was very small but certainly adequate. Breakfast was excellent as was the service at the registration desk. Unfortunately we had a rude loud family group staying nearby for our last night. Since the location is so very central, I would stay here again.

"Great location, large rooms, friendly staff"

Wasn't sure about Pantheon Inn when I booked -- the reviews seemed all over the map -- but in the end we had a good stay and I feel good about recommending it to others although it's definitely worth knowing what you are going to get. We went as a family group of four adults and two kids. We had two rooms (a double and a quad/family room) up on the 3rd floor. Please note - there is a lift but it is very small/hot. Because of this we ended up walking up the three flights of steps and this is not for the easily tired or faint of heart. The reception is up one flight from the street level, and then the breakfast room and some rooms are on the 2nd level; a few more rooms are up on the 3rd. Our rooms were large and comfortable. My brother and sister in laws' double was renovated and very nice. Ours was similar but clearly hadn't been updated yet. Didn't matter to us actually. The AC worked well although a technical glitch in our room meant we had endure a loud beeping noise for several minutes each time we turned it on. This was a bit annoying and the desk was aware - they had made a service call for us. We worked around it by having my husband go up early and turn it on or else leaving it on in the evening while we were out for dinner. This was not a deal breaker. Only complaints were the spotty wifi and the fact that on the third floor there was no lounge or lobby or anywhere to hang out besides the room. We like to hang out for a while after putting our kids to bed at 8 and there was nowhere to do that. Thankfully our family joined us after two nights so we could hang out in their room next door. Breakfast was nice but could be crowded. We solved that by going early so we could get a six person table. At first glance we thought it looked like just pastries but then realized the food was spread on different areas - pastries and cereals, meats and cheeses and boiled eggs, fruit and yogurt and milk. In the end a nice spread. Can't emphasize how fab the location is - you can literally walk to everything. Our farthest walks were to the Borghese gardens and to the Vatican but even those were not I possible with two young kids. Lots of restaurants including some smaller non touristy ones. We ate well and I expensively. Hotel also made a nice suggestion which we liked so much we ate there twice in 5 days.

"Highly recommended"

What a super place. In an ideal location, so if you are lost in Rome, you just make your way back to the Pantheon, which is signposted, then you can find the hotel. Really friendly men on reception who spoke excellent English. They were more than happy to recommend places to eat, visit, book taxis etc. Our room was really clean and quiet. Nice breakfast. Would highly recommend this place as a good bolt hole for Rome. Also, take an open top bus tour. However, if you are at the train station, beware unofficial young women who are very keen to "help" you find where your train is, buy tickets etc., but are s real nuisance and demand money once you have found what you are doing.

"Good location, but not clean"
07/06/15 Janine H
I really liked the location and room rates of the Pantheon Inn. Found the staff at the desk to be very friendly and helpful. I experienced 3 rooms, as my family was split up, and all three rooms had hair at the bottom of the shower. Our feet were black every night after walking on the floor boards and my son and I both got a rash on our necks (can't say why), One of the rooms also had a dark long hair on the pillow. Just a few more minutes on each room washing the floors and rinsing the showers was all that was needed. Breakfast had a good selection and the room was clean and tidy. I like older hotels with character, and this one has great style but u marked it down just on cleanliness.

"Very nice place to stay depending on your needs"

This was perfect for what we needed. Only in Rome for a day before flying home.  Fantastic location, wonderfully service-oriented, 24/7 staff.  Room was a bit small and relatively expensive, but kind of what you'd expect when staying in the heart of a major global city.  For convenience, we arranged for a shuttle from the airport after dropping off our rental car and to the airport at 4 in the morning to catch our flight out.  The hotel coordinated it all and it worked out perfectly, but was very expensive. The last time we were in Rome it was for a longer stay and we rented an apartment (like VRBO or AirB&B) on Campo de Fiori which was a much better way to go and better value when staying for a couple days. That said, no real complaints about this place. Had a great stay and a wonderful time.

"Charming hotel wtih a great staff and location"
06/28/15 Charlene N Gruetli Laager, Tennessee
We enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel that was originally built in 1681 as a home, the hotel has been updated with all modern appliances, but has maintained its charm. The staff were very friendly and most helpful anytime you asked questions or had any issues. The location was great, near plenty cafes, restaurants and shops. The bus stop was just a couple of blocks so it was easy to navigate around Rome. I would stay again at this hotel if I return to Rome.

"Shabby hotel, fabulous location"

The location doesn't get any better than this--around the corner from the Pantheon on a fairly quiet street. There is a lift and it works, but you may have to drag your luggage up a few stairs once you land. Our room was adequate but shabby. The breakfast was the worst I have had in an Italian hotel--old hardboiled eggs, no fresh fruit, few choices of anything, plus limited seating and a grumpy breakfast room attendant. But everything is short walk away--Piazza Navona, Camp Fiore, the bridge to the Vatican, the Trevi Fountain.

"Cosy but Noisy"
05/06/15 Ptowngam
We had a room facing the street to Piazza Minerva and it was noisy throughout the night. The hotel itself is small and charming - very typical of Rome - split among two floors and with a courtyard at the end of the entrance shared by the hotel and residences in the building. They have a small elevator and the friendly staff is eager to help with bags. Breakfasts are served daily in their small dining room. You'll enjoy it if you're looking for Roman charm and not the U.S. type of hotels. Can't beat the location! 2 minutes to the Pantheon. 5 minutes to Piazza Navona.

"Lovely and friendly hotel with a best possible location"
04/28/15 HanneleH Lahti, Finland
Pantheon Inn is in an old building with many stairs and corners. But everything works very well. The personnel is most friendly and helpfull. The room was not very big but it was functional and clean. The breakfast was tasty and good. The location is among the best in Rome, it is easily accessed with local busses and tram and most of the sights are within walking distance. We made a good choice in choosing Pantehon Inn.

"Life savers!"

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Rome from our holiday base in Sorrento. Location is perfect, staff were friendly and helpful and room was nice. This is not the reason for the 5 star review though. We left a bag at the hotel and returned in the afternoon to collect it and head to the train station and return to Sorrento. We were rushing to catch the train so didn't pay much attention to the receptionists queries about which room we'd been staying in and started to worry when our bag was not in the cupboard where we'd left it. When we confirmed our room the receptionist pulled our bag out from behind the reception desk along with a number of items we'd left in our room, namely our 4 passports, an i pad and the keys to our apartment in Sorrento. We are very grateful to the hotel staff for making sure these items were returned to us. The remainder of our holiday would have been ruined if they hadn't taken the steps they did to ensure our stuff was returned to us. It was impossible to convey our gratitude there and then so hopefully this will get back to the relevant staff.
