"Good Place To Stay"
The hotel was a nice clean place to stay. 3 to 5 minute walk from the Metro Station. A few restuarants around and small grocery stores. Also 5 minutes walk to a very low cost suvenier - flea market. I would stay at this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I've stayed in this hotel for few nights in the "superior twin" room. The room was clean and comfortable, however there were neither tee, nor coffee. The hotel provides 2 bottles of water and all necessary toiletries every day. I can't say that the vicinity was really pleasant, but it took only 2 minutes to get to the subway and about 15 minutes to […] get to the city center. I think its a good hotel for this price in Moscow. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A wonderful and affordable hotel"
The hotel has very friendly staff, good location, closed to subway, superclean and comfortable bed, nice restaurants, almost everything you want. The things I hope them can improve is the ATM machine only has Russia language, not English, so I am afraid to use it, and the exchange stations refuse to accept my dollar because she thought it was too old. […] The Taxi drive which was reserved by the hotel staff did not come until 30 minutes later. Overall, it is a good hotel and wish to stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"stay here if you visit moscow"
situated within sight and a three-minute walk from the partinzinskaya metro, bw vega fulfills any traveler's needs. rooms are immaculate, and concierge viktor knows the city as he does his own first name. ice cold and steaming hot water are available on all floors. only reservation is that such a large hotel has only four computers, and people have […] a tendency to stay on for hours, and no one would think of asking them to consolidate. when i brought this up with viktor, he smiled. if/when i ever return to the capital, i will seek the place out. supermarkets and restaurants abound in the area, and are open 24/7, as is the lobby bar for drinks and light snacks. and the hotel is situated on a pedestrian mall, so no matter where you are in the hotel, there is no noise. gorgeous view of the moscow river is available on the front side of the property. "nice hotel in a proper location"
Generally I would recommend this hotel, it is near to a subway station, a place called Ismailovo Park and a small shopping mall. First we had a room on the 16th floor which receive very weak Wi-Fi signal, the receptionist was helpful and she gave us another room on the 6th floor, then we had no problems with the internet. Great location. Conveniently located about 1/5 of a mile from Partisanskaya metro station. I loved the bottled water given out each day of the stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"good value hotel"
we stayed at the hotel from 9/7/12 to 16/7/12, it is well located near Partizanskaya metro station, there is a shopping center nearby where you can have a nice meal, I reccommend Teremok for the local dishes, the nice market where you can buy souvenirs and other goods, a wide green park surrounded by a lake where locals even go to swim...the hotel lacks […] air conditioning in the lobby and there is a choking feeling when you enter, sadly smoking is permitted and so it was unbearable for us to stay there. we were lucky to take the "deluxe" room so we had conditioning in the room, otherwise we would have a very bad stay. the inet is free but not good enough inside room, unless you are in the bathroom!! for Russian standards it is a good hotel and a good value for money. Updgraded completely from a previous stay I had before. Staff was excellent. Rooms are air conditioned and very nice. Breakfast was excellent although it will set you back about $15 which is not cheap but not terrible in Moscow.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good place to stay with a limited budget"
The location is good. Not too far from the center of the city. The service was good too, despite the fact that we didn't get our booked room right on time. We had to wait for about 40 minutes because they didn't have available rooms at that time. Eventually we good a room for smokers, although we don't smoke, but it was the only available room at that […] time. The staff was polite and they tried to help when it was necessary. "A fine hotel"
The staff was kind and helpful; assisted us with visa questions, directions and booking train tickets. The room suited our every need (ice, wifi, international calls). The price was especially reasonable, we've paid as much for hostels. The location was away from the popular attractions, but there is metro station across the street; there is also a […] fun, charming bazaar at a nearby Russian village market, worth a visit. "Clean, comfortable hotel. Great location."
ROOM: clean and spacious with a decently sized closet and a small table with a couple of chairs. Comfortable beds. Mini bar and safe. The bathroom is also very clean and of a nice size. It's a huge hotel but it wasn't noisy at all. AMMENITIES: wifi is free. The room has toiletries (even slippers!), hair dryer and cable with some English channels. Breakfast […] and dinner buffet are available. They are a bit expensive but at least the menus are in English which is hard to find in Russia. There's also a bar and some souvenir stores in the lobby. The Vega is part of the Izmailovo complex which used to be an olympic villa and in the complex there are other hotels, restaurants, souvenir stores, small grocery stores, and a pharmacy so everything you might need you will find in the complex. LOCATION: it's located right next to the Partizanskaya metro station (careful because in some maps the stop appears as Izmailovsky Park!) just 5 stops on the same blue line to the Red Square, Kremlin and Bolshoi stop. it was our second time in Moscow, we had stayed previously next to the Vega at the Delta building which is managed separately, and we returned to the site because we found it very convenient. Don't miss the market in Izmailovsky Park, after two visits to Moscow we found it to be the best place for souvenirs in terms of price and variety. Overall, it's a great place to stay, We'll return if we're back in Moscow. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stay in Ismailovo"
This is a good hotel for the money. It's one in a complex of 5 hotels that was re-branded Best Western. There are many stores and shopping centers nearby and the hotel is only 5 stops on subway from the kremlin. FOr the kind of money I paid for this hotel I was impressed with the quality of the room, food, and the hotel overall.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice and clean place for stay in Moscow"
Very pleasant and clean hotel, with a nice atmosphere and staff. Very close to metro station. Maybe some prices are too high like breakfast (17 USD) or sauna (140 USD for 2 people 1 hour). Despite these inconveniences the hotel is worth recomendations to others and should be qualified into more than a 3 star hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Good value for the money in Moscow."
I have been to Moscow many, many times and overall this was a very nice place to stay. The only problem we had was that I paid extra to book a room with a "large tub", However, the idea of a large tub at this hotel appears to be a small US size tub.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Clean, affordable & convenient"
My friend and I stayed in Best Western Vega from the 15th to the 19th of July for a few days sightseeing around Moscow. Arriving in VKO we found it very easy to take the aeroexpress train into the city, find line 3 and then ride in straight to Partizanskaya station which was a stones throw from the hotel. 15minutes by metro from Red Square the hotel […] was well suited for our needs and check in was made simple and easy by the lovely hotel staff who all spoke good English. Our rooms were clean and well equipped and we stayed on the 25th floor to enjoy the view. Eateries, ATM's, little shops, Sauna and all sorts were within the hotel and just outside was a little bar and other takeaways ranging from authentic Russian to Subway. Honestly couldn't have asked for much more - clean, good location, well equipped. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

It is a good place, but one of their restaurants really abuse the price of drinks, definitely one of the most expensive places to have a cognac, even more expensive than 5 star hotels in the city, near the red square.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Recommended economy hotel"
Walking distance to the subway. There was a heat radiator that was overheating the room and that could not be turned off. I had to disable it by putting the spare blanket all over it. "Perfect location, excellent hotel"
This is a nice bright clean hotel with several restaurants and a bar open 24 hrs. Our room was small but perfect for our short sight-seeing weekend. "Unexpectedly comfortable hotel with gym and wifi"
Looks a bit ominous from the outside, but inside the rooms as fine and comfortable. They have access to a massive gym, not just a small room like other hotels sell, that has everything. Short walk from Metro. Very well priced. Couple of improvements would be: - the lobby bar and cafe are not exactly smoke free zones. - the wifi is great when its working […] but I frequently found it didn't work. They do have free internet access on PC's next to the bar, but Skype doesn't work. - there isn't much to do locally, but the metro is close by. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"close to the metro! breakfast buffet was very good"
In general this was a clean, and very convenient hotel. the reception staff seemed to take forever to do anything. The Breakfast buffet was very good with a great selection of food. "A mass market hotel"
2 experiences: 1, At VIP check-in counter, I was told only a smoking room (at the 24th floor) was available & they would change to a non-smoking one the next day. I agreed since it was evening and it had been a long train journey. The lady even parted with a "see you tomorrow". Next morning, she was not on duty. Another lady (at the normal reception […] counter) asked "who told you that?" & did not even check whether any non-smoking room was available. She just said check-out time is noon & asked me to come back later. That evening, after the usual tourist things, I found the lady who checked me in. Again no non-smoking room was available & I should come back in the morning. Since the hotel is far from the city center, it is not realistic to return mid-day to change rooms. If you cannot stand cigarette smoke, be very firm with your need for a non-smoking room if they offer you a smoking one "temporarily". It smell even after airing with opened window. Past reviewers had reported similar encounters. 2, The guest information folder said complimentary tea/coffee were available on certain floors & had info how to get to them. When my card key cannot access those floors, I called the front desk & was asked to go down for the card to be "fixed". But when I went down, they said the facility is for deluxe room guests only. Then why is everyone told it is complimentary complete with instructions how to get them & why was I asked to go down to the reception for the card to be "fixed"? "New name for hotel Smokers Heaven"
Through our the hotel it smelt like a smoke house in your room and dining rooms. Their english is very limited. "Normal but noisy!"
The hotel in general for the price is ok, the problem is that I couldn't get a good sleep in 4 nights because of the noise from neighbouring units. I stayed there for seven nights from the 21st-28th of August 2013. My room was of a very high standard. There were three telephones, including one in the bathroom. I ordered […] room service on one occasion, and the food arrived very quickly, and was inexpensive. The food in the restaurant and cafés was also very good. I particularly recommend the lamb rack in the ground floor restaurant. It was excellent. The staff there were very attentive and friendly, and made the experience satisfying. an excellent service, friendly staff and a lovely hotel. like a little city in its own right. Nice and secure with multiple checkpoints to make sure that it was just guests entering the room floors. The only quirk that I would say they need to improve is the hot drinks facilities that they offered for guests. They provided free coffee and tea for all […] guests and these facilities were available on particular floors but you had to wait for someone with the floor keycard to let you in due to the security restrictions. We were on floor 18 and the tea/coffee room was on floor 17....which we had no access to. This was a quirk rather than an annoyance as there were plenty of other things to do also. "Good overall for couples"
Generally spacious clean hotel, good three restaurants,a bar and cafee, breakfast is very good and varied, location outside centre by around 15 miles, 20 min by metro (5 stations) but nearly one hour by taxi depending on traffic, will certainly recommend the metro, nearest station is 10 min walk, trains come frequently every 2-3 min, cheap and quicker […] in addition to enjoying the grandiose stations architecture. Rooms are average in size basically furnished, but bathroom is clean, good size and power shower. Price for the room and breakfast is very reasonable at sound £85 per room per night; expect to pay double for similar hotel near red square.
