We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

"Good Value and Great Staff in Manhattan"
I recently stayed for three nights at the MAve when I was in NYC on business. It's very clean, and the service is excellent. Staff are very helpful and cheerful. "Nice Hotel"
Urban room was absurdly tiny - I upgraded for a bit more money per day. Room had two full sized beds but no writing desk or chair which I needed. Overall, a nice hotel in a great location. Staff young, hip, friendly.

"Teeny But Comfy and Clean"
All the reviews reporting details on the size of the rooms are spot on. Yes, the room is tiny, but impeccably clean (a big issue for me given the bed bug epidemic in many NYC hotels). Hotel is still undergoing renovations and only one elevator was working. Addressing comments about the street noise -- this wasn't an issue for me and I recommend requesting […] a high room not facing Madison Avenue. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. "Great New Hotel"
Best place I have ever stayed in while in New York. The staff was great. Nice renovated space that felt like home! We stayed in one of the larger rooms, and it was more than large enough for two people. Comfortable beds, great bathrooms, and even better amenities. I'd recommend The MAve to anyone!!!
"Great value for money"
The rooms are tiny but perfect for one person. not ideal if you plan to spend a lot of time in room but if you are just sleeping and showering there it is perfect. The only suggestion I would make - and I am sure they are getting to this as they only just opened - providing bottled water in the room and also a mini-bar.

We stayed there for a weekend in NYC and couldn't have been happier. The staff was very nice and extremely accommodating. Great room- small but very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Very cool building and excellent location- easy walk to subway station and close to Madison Square Park. We will definitely stay there again!
"cramped and noisy"
The hotel rooms are among the smallest around--not sure how you would fit a winter coat in the 12inches of closet space. The rooms have no central HVAC and only window air conditioners--I don't think I slept ten minutes the entire night since the noise from the air conditioner, street and hallways was constant. The hotel was very modern, aesthetically pleasing, but I got a "full," and the room was tiny. I hit my foot on the bed several times just trying to walk around. The bathroom was the same size of the room, and that would be a good thing, if they were both larger. I guess you have to consider that this is New York, and that rooms are going to be small […] and noisy, and I was happy overall, but let's just say that I wouldn't stay more than one night due to lack of space, and I am glad that I was alone! There was barely enough room for me, let alone a companion! Wonderful use of H2O products as toiletries in the bathroom and comfy robe and sheets. "Great Hotel for the Price"
We stayed here the first week that they had opened. Everything was clean even though they were still doing some minor work. The bed was extrememly comfortable as well. The room was small (not a big deal to us bc you are only sleeping there) but definately worth the money. Service and location excellent.

Small boutique hotel, in fabulous location. Close to Madison Sq Park and Union Sq . Great restaurants within walking distance and within 1-2 blocks of multiple subway lines. Small room, no fridge,but comfortable bed. Recommend if you don't plan to spend much time in your room.

Trevligt hotell, lite trångt rum. Frukosten funkade inte alls för oss, 7-8 sorters typ wienerbröd var inte vad vi ville börja dagen med. Dock riktigt gott kaffe, vilket annars var omöjligt att hitta. "Prisvärt hotell utan ngt extra"
The Mave är ett bra hotell för den som endast behöver en sovplats. Personalen är mkt hjälpsam och läget är bra, men varning utfärdas för den som är lättstörd då vi hade otur(?) att få ett rum mot avenyn som tog in mkt oväsen från gatan.

Bra läge, trevlig & hjälpsam personal. Övre medelklass hotell. Skön säng, ganska stort rum. De förbokade fin transport till flygplatsen, till fast pris, bara marginellt högre än taxi.

"Vorweihnachstzeit im The Mave"
Wir können dieses Hotel nur empfehlen. Die Lage ist super, man ist in 2 Minuten auf der 5th Avenue und in ein paar Minuten bei der Subway und somit in ganz NYC. Das Zimmer war klein mit einem 1,4m breiten Bett und einer Kommode, das Bad war genügend groß, aber was benötigt man in NYC zum Schlafen mehr. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! So […] wie schon andere beschrieben hatten war auch hier nur 1 Lift zu Verfügung, aber man musste selten lange warten. Außerdem ist man im Urlaub und da sollte man 2 Minuten auf einen Lift warten können. Die Lage des Zimmers war direkt auf die Madison Ave, war daher ein bisschen lauter, aber in ganz NYC ist der Lärmpegel höher! Read more
"Bel hôtel mais les chambres sont décevantes"
Nosu avions reservés sur hotels.com un "très grand lit", or à notre arrivée il s'agissait d'un queen bed et non d'un king. L'hôtel a proposé de nous upgradé mais en payant, donc première déception. A qui la faute? Hotel.com ou l'hôtel, je ne sais pas, le fait est que nous n'avons pas obtenu ce que nous avons payé. La chambre queen est MINUSCULE, a peine […] la place de mettre 2 valises. La chauffage fait un bruit d'enfet la nuit et ne chauffait pas très bien, d'autant que la femme de ménage l'arrêtait en journée donc il faisait super froid le soir en revenant. Par contre, c'était très propre. Rien à redire la dessus. A part la déception de la chambre, l'hôtel est bien placé, près de l'Empire State Building et pas loin du métro. Si vous venez pour le shopping cependant, privilégiez un hôtel dans l'Upper East Side, près de tous les grands magasins, ou bien dans Soho. We really enjoyed our stay at the Mave Hotel! We booked our stay early and therefore had the opening discount, which was percect since we probably couldn't afford it otherwise! The location was perfect for exploring NY - close to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed to make a dinner reservation etc...
