Enjoyed our stay during March. The weather was still cold, so we were unable to use the pool or enjoy the beautiful grounds, but would highly recommend. The resturant was tasty, and locations to Normadie Beach memorials was excellent.

The only concern we had here, was we ate at the restuarant at the hotel. Rather than putting it on our room, we decided to just pay for our meals as we go. Well come morning to check out the last dinner we paid cash for they showed and amount still due for the evening dinner. My regret was that I didn't make the waiter give me a receipt that we had […] paid cash. They took the charge off, but felt really bad about the issue. So if you eat at the restuarant and decide to pay in cash make sure to get a receipt that you paid. Other than that we really enjoyed our visit here and highly recommend it. Read more

Location was terrific. Close to Omaha Beach, museum and cemetery. Golf course and pool looked nice. Those are the positives. Our rooms were oddly shaped. My husband and I both hit our heads on the sloping ceiling. The rooms were on the second floor and there was no elevator. I wondered whether they were cheaper Internet priced rooms (I suggest you check […] out rooms before agreeing to them). The desk clerk actually told us we should go up the elevator one floor, walk through the breakfast room and then take the stairs to our room--dragging our luggage. Not really a terrific idea for an 84 year-old man or his 60 year-old son. Since there were no bellmen, In the end the female desk clerk had to carry the luggage up (and then down again the next day). The breakfast was over-priced for what was offered, which was not uncommon in France, but the service at the main dining room was the stuff of old jokes about French restaurants. I was served the worst piece of meat I have ever had (and that includes steak I have ruined at home and ones ordered at places one should never order steak at). It still offends me that they actually served that piece of shoe leather covered in sauce. I mentioned it to the head waiter later, but because I didn't want to embarrass my hosts, I choked it down. The hotel is in a great location about 10 clicks east of Omaha Beach outside a small village. The room was a standard European room. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good.

Rooms are noisy. Maids enter room even if do not disturb sign is up. A/C has one level-on and cold. Rooms are clean, food at restaurant is not bad and location is ok. If I was to do over, I would just stay in Bayeux.

Perfect location, a few minutes from Port-en-Bessin, a local fishing village, with very good seafood, and a nice harbor area to walk around. Historic sites are interesting to see, and the views from the bluffs are impressive. The Omaha beach landing area and other D-Day sites are also a short drive away. Very comfortable hotel near the Normandy beaches in a cute little town. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have experienced in a hotel. Nice breakfast, though pricey at 13 Euros. Very enjoyable stay!

The hotel was OK -- the rooms a bit cramped and the food was expensive and not so great. Better to eat out locally. Although it looked good, a lot of it was rather superficial, but it did have a swimming pool.

We had a great experience at the hotel. It was a good location for seeing the World War II sites. We traveled with 2 young children and the hotel was very accomodating as far the room, meals, etc. The golf course was an added bonus that we enjoyed as well. I booked two rooms - a standard twin for my 13 and 9 year old children and a superior double for my husband and I. There was very little difference between the rooms except ours was a little bit larger and wished I hadn't booked the more expensive room! All the hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant, […] which I would recommend also. We only stayed one night (on our way to Caen for the ferry). It was a bit cold to swim in the pool, so we thought we'd use the sauna and steam room. On investigation they were both turned off and no staff nearby to assist. This is more a conference/golf hotel rather than a family hotel, but nevertheless, it was clean and comforatable with good facilities. The gardens/golf course were immaculately maintained. We haven't stayed in a better 3 star hotel. The service was friendly and relaxed all the way through. Dinner in the 360 was fantastic, the breakfast buffet was super and the room was clean and modern. Our two young children were the only ones in the pool - in the rain. Thanks for a lovely overnight stay.

Excellent location. Clean rooms, good restaurant with prices similar to local bistros. Bar prices too high and no specific bar staff . Only a few staff on duty and no one apparently in charge. Rooms modern and clean, good TV and WiFi but difficult to get online. Room staff neglected to replenish tea/coffee or to check things like glasses in the bathroom. […] We were a party of 9 who booked within a week of each other but were offered different room prices for identical rooms, some were charged for breakfast, others had it included. Breakfast was expensive for what was essentially a continental style buffet, on one day no eggs were available and bread had not been delivered. Breakfast staff were thin on the ground, and providing coffee seemed a chore. This could be a nice hotel if only the over worked staff smiled! Might be tempted back if the above gets resolved. Dans l'ensemble bon week end dans un très bel endroit. Bémol car la chambre n'a pas été faite entre les deux nuits passées (pas très sérieux pour une chambre à 120€ la nuité) puis une climatisation trop bruyante! Et une carte du restaurant trop basique pour le prix demandé.

Fint hotell med kort distanse til de fleste lokasjoner innen D-dag landingsområder og museér. Golfbanen lå 100 meter unna. Restauranten som tilhørte hotellet var meget stilfull og hadde utsikt rett ut til golfbanen. Flott plass om man vil se små landsbyer, klipper, strender og ikke ønsker å ha en urban ferie.

Fint och prydligt hotell på promenadavstånd till centrum av Port en Bessin. Ligger inte vid havet. Pool i trädgården. Bra frukost. Bilväg ca 15min till Omaha Beach så namnet på hotellet är lite missvisande, i övrigt prisvärt.
