Hotel was clean. Breakfast buffet was more of a continental meal....no cereal, eggs. That was fine, Location was good., Very close to the train station and "Tivoli", Also not too far to "Storget" street. Pedestrian shopping. Rooms are small, but clean and modern. The blankets are great. They were individual (like down comforters).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel wasn't THAT bad.. it's just in an inconvient location. If you want the train station, and a little walk go for it! It is one of the cheaper ones in town.. it all depends on what you are looking for. They did however keep reminding us "we are a two star hotel." It was clean....and a little larger than most (european) for the rooms. We got to see […] a LOT of the lobby because they refused to let us check in early. Even though they had breakfast available in the hotel, they sent us on a wild goose chase to find a restaraunt at 7am... comfortable blankets and bed though. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

easy walking distance from Main Rail Station - so very covenient from CPH Airport. Breakfast in hotel was good value. "small but green and cute, close to station"
would recommend, although the check-in is at 3pm and the breakfast is not included as in other hotels we stayed at in Scandinavia. Staff was not the friendliest either. Close to the Tuivoli and train station which was convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This room was very small. The advertised air-conditioning did not work. We had to sleep with windows open and the noise from the town kept us awake. Poor value for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"the wake up hotel, tiny rooms, decent location,"
while i must say the rooms were modern, clean as was the rest of the hotel. the rooms were so small, 8 feet wide and maybe twice as long. The bathroom was also incoperated into that space as well. just too tight for two people with luggage, no fressers, a few hangers on a small rack. the breakfast was decent for the price. the location is in a commercial […] area, however only a ten minute walk to the tivoli gardens and the train station. just cannot recommend this hotel for the price and the room size. "Bad location, unfriendly staff, but rooms OK"
The location is rather out of the way in an industrial area. It is fairly close to the train station but far from everything else. We arrived quite early before check-in time but the hotel does not have a luggage room like most; there is a luggage locker room which you must pay to store your luggage. The staff seemed quite unfriendly with regard to […] some simple questions we had. The rooms were nice but small even by European standars. The breakfast was OK; not bad but nowhere near the best of breakfasts we had at other hotels in Scandinavia. Overall I would not recommend this place for tourists; it might be OK if you were traveling for business. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would stay here again"
Overall a good hotel stay. The quality of the hotel room was exactly what I expected based on the Expedia description (i.e., modern, helpful staff, clean, small). If you are a traveler requiring large closets and ample space, this likely shouldn't be your first choice. If you are looking for a small space to relax in after a day of touring or business, […] it will work quite well. One downside is that the hotel is near train tracks that separate it from the surrounding neighborhood--this means that one must walk in a "U" to get to the Vesterbro area or to the Train station itself. Bike rental at the hotel is fairly affordable and a great way to see the city--routes to Nyhavn, Tivoli, and Christianshavn are very direct. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is very conveniently located but we were in the smallest hotel room ever. The room was quiet (important to us). The breakfast buffet was not included and wasn't too imaginative.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great price for a modern and new hotel"
I was very much satisfied with Wake up copenhagen. They were clean and modern. close walking distance to everything. totally recommend this place if you want to visit copenhagen city center.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Design Hotel is a good value and is within walking distance to both Tivoli Gardens and Copenhagen Central Station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel Wakeup Copenhagen--is in good location"
The hotel is new and is within walking distance from the main attraction. One thing I didn’t like about the hotel room we stayed in was that they didn’t have any cabinets or shelves to put away your clothing. What also shocked me was that we didn’t have a telephone in our room, so in case of an emergency I didn’t know what we would do. I only recommend […] this hotel if you plan on staying in Copenhagen for one day. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Of course, the room size was small but we expected that. It was actually smaller than our ship's cabin! The room was clean and unique in its plan and we were glad to be within walking distance of the train station and other spots. The one thing I missed was a phone in the room. If they could only put one at least on each floor in case of emergency, […] I would have felt better about being 10 stories up and the ability to be in contact with the main desk . "Good basic room at reasonable rate"
This hotel is fairly new and was very clean. It's very minimalist - no phone in room, no closets or drawers to put clothers away. But a very clean room at a very reasonable rate for Copenhagen. It's located about a 10 minuite walk from Tivoli Gardens & the main train station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is fairly new and very nice. it is a small room but everything you need is there. They also have lots of bikes for rent at a reasonable charge and wine, beer, soda and snacks are available. It's not a far walk from the train station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Adequate but with caveats"
The room was small with no wasted space, but adequate. Only thing to be aware of is that there is no phone, so no wake up service--no alarm clock either!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Minimal Hotel. Comparatively inexpensive."
Stayed at Wakeup Hotel for 2 days. Selected this based on price and location. Price is about the cheapest for city center hotels in Copenhagen but still expensive compared to other cities. Rooms are very small. Minimal service. No phone in room. Bathroom is opague glass. Privacy is non-existent. Front desk is inconsistent. One day the staff was helpful. […] Next day another staff was pretty rude. Would have chosen other hotels even if I have to spent more. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
New hotel very clean, modern, and 'danish'. Room was not very spacious but orderly with comfortable bed, rack for one suitcase, large TV, wall table, small couch, glass walled bath room, and huge window - we had a sunset view - lovely. Free hotel wi-fi also helpful for getting e-mail and information from smartphone or laptop. No phone in room, not a […] problem with mobile phone popularity. The hotel all in all was great..however was a little shocked how small the rooms were, and the fact i had to climb in bed over my husband and if i had to get up at nite climb back over him..This may be a disadvantage to someone with a little age..We dont spend a lot of tiime in the room so for us it was ok..the train is quite a walk from the hotel. […] however we did find we could catch the bus at the tivoli hotel beside Wake-up..the rooms are very nice decor and the only problem we had was adjusting to the light coming in the room at nite..so bring your blinders. "Wake Up Copenhagen bad experience"
Positives: Clean, comparatively inexpensive, free wi-fi, 15 minutes walk to station/Tivoli. Negatives: Small room, had to crawl across the bed to get to the window. No cupboard, shelves or closet, just 4 hangers on a bar on the wall. Bathroom is a frosted glass partition in the room, put the light on in there at night and light up the whole bedroom. […] Glass leaves nothing to the imagination, need to slide open the shower in order to bend down and pick up the soap. No telephone. Room air-conditioning does not work, 85 degrees F and they provide 2 comforters/duvees, no sheets! Sunrise is 4:30 am in May and the plastic sheet/curtain does not exclude any light. Maybe OK for one person, one night, but for 2 people, five nights a bad deal. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

As a solo traveller was perfect clean and modern friendly staff and comfortable room. Location was close to center and easy walk to the train station took full advantage of the hotel bike was all in all very easy would stay there again wish there were more wakeup style hotels around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wakeup Copenhagen -Excellent budget priced hotel"
New modern style hotel a few blocks from Tivoli and train station. Rooms are small, a little cramped for two, but well worth the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was clean. The towels were a bit too small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Room=small, location=not great, price=right"
Was pretty small, but was a practical and workable space. It is convenient to Central Station and Tivoli, but rather far from other happening parts of Copenhagen. (But a bike can fix that, the hotel rents them out) The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable. definitely worth the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Danish contemporary design with small rooms"
This hotel features some great design (the tube-like, cylindrical shower is visually appealing), but the room size is pod-like in size. Noise from the railroad tracks across the street isn't as bad as other reviews have stated, but I'd suggest asking for a room above the 4th floor. Everything was very clean, as one can expect in Scandinavia. I took […] advantage of the free wi-fi in my room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We had only one minor disappointment; we booked 2 rooms and though the room numbers were consecutive the rooms were not adjoining (somewhat disconcerting, particularly since there are no phones in the rooms).Genuine Expedia guest review
"The WakeUp Hotel, Copenhagen - a big hit"
We drove to the hotel in a rental car (expensive in Denmark). Parking was easy and about $20 for indoor parking per 24 hr period. You need not see anybody at the front desk as the check in can simply be done at terminals placed in the lobby. The rooms do not have phones (who needs one anyway) but have everything else with extra blankets and pillows […] under the bed. Nice granite bathroom counter, excellent shower, good soap, and the typical annoying shampoo pouch. The double (maybe queen) bed was comfortable and not too soft. There is a phone on every floor at the elevator. The Tivoli Gardens is a 6 min walk and about 9 min to the walking street and Town Hall Square. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to downtown, but service not so good."
While I appreciate that the hotel is only a 2 star, I was dissapointed in the attentiveness of the staff to the needs of the customer. In addition to apparently random sheet and towel changes, I found the tiny pillow provided less than ideal, and when I asked for another at the front desk, I was flatly refused. In addition, the shower did not drain […] properly and subsequently flooded the bathroom with even a very short (under 5 min) shower requiring the usage of one of the few precious towels provided. That said, the location was ideal for travel in the downtown Copenhagen area and had direct connections by bus to the Bella Congress center. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very "No Frills""
Location was good. Was expensive for what you got, but in general Copenhagen is expensive place to stay. Rooms were very small, no amenities. I was on a 5 day interrail trip around Denmark with my boyfriend and decided to stop off here for a night in Copenhagen. For the price of the room we were blown away. Staff were very friendly, and the hotel is in a decent location near to the train station. Copenhagen is so small you can never be far away from things, but it's nice to have the option of renting bikes (very reasonable rates). Our room was very small and basic, but fine given the price, and it was perfectly clean and nice to stay in. We spent most […] of our time out in the city so it didn't worry us! The shower/wetroom sits behind frosted glass in the corner of the room. It is a bit cozy when someone is using it! Breakfast was the only disappointment. It was standard European hotel fare - cold meat and bread with a bit of fruit - but you can spend a little more in the city and get much more for it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good location but extremely small rooms"
My mum and I stayed at Wakeup Copenhagen for 4 nights and was quite disappointed. I know it is only 2 stars but we still paid quite a lot of money for the room so expected a bit more space. The rooms are so small that you can barely breath and the bed is also really small for 2 people so when we first entered the room we thought they had given us a […] single by mistake. The first 2 nights we had a room overlooking the Central train station but the window didn't seem to close properly and we barely got any sleep for the noise from the trains. We complained to the reception, who managed to find us a another room for the last 2 nights to the other side - so helped a bit. However the only reason to pick this hotel should be because of the location, where you can walk to all the main sites in the city - otherwise I would definitely not recommend it. They have spent all the money on an expensive looking reception instead of making the rooms a bit more comfortable. Was also quite disappointed by the parking fee - since when I booked I was told the parking was DKK 120 per night. It showed out to be 20 DKK per hour or maximum DKK 140 per 24 hours. However if you were driving in and out of the Parking area several times during the day - the parking could end up being a lot more than DKK 140 per night - so seemed very unreasonable. Does what it says on the tin. Clean and comfortable, this is a value no-frills hotel, the staff are helpful and access to Copenhagen's attractions only a short walk or bus ride away. We would definitely stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Quirky modern great hotel"
The Wakeup Copenhagen is a modern hotel with rooms that are more like pods - functional, minimal and trendy. It's a short cab ride into Copenhagen city centre, and has good parking facilities in the adjoining multi storey car park. I'd recommend this for anyone staying in Copenhagen for up to a couple of nights.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel ... Great location.. Worst directions"
Let me start with the bad part The directions given by the hotel were nonsense. Took me 2 hours to find it. According to the direction on there website the hotel on a street which is totally opposite of where it is. Now the best part It's actually 10 minutes walking from central station. Just go left when you come out of central station and after 7 […] mins walking you will see it on a street on your right. Rooms are small but clean. Hotel is in a good location, just a five minute walk from Copenhagen central station. It's spotlessly clean in all areas.
