The hotel stay was a pleasant one. We were only a few blocks away from the main road where all the events are taking place. The rooms itself was super roomy and the beds were comfy! I'm giving 3 stars to the comfort of the room because the AC unit is located right above the bed, which is not a great idea, given that we have to leave the AC on throughout the night. I think they purposely put the unit above the bed so that we will turn it off when we sleep (possibly to save energy). In addition to the AC, it never got cold, the temperature was only cool, it would be nice if it was colder. Anothet thing the hotel lacked was an elevator being close to our rooms, we had to walk 3 flights of stairs to get to our room, which was inconvenient. Other than tht, the room is clean and spacious. Will definitely recommend this hotel to others! The breakfast buffet was mediocre, but not too bad to start the morning, and the staff were nice.

Hotel was great and in a prime location. The only complaint was the mattress being extremely hard. I guess im used to the soft mattress i have at home but the bed was a little to rough for my comfort level. Other than that the hotel and staff were great. Coming out of my pool access room was very refreshing as it was extremely hot and humid. Nice pool made it very refreshing.

JW does one thing very right, they create a great family vacation for the kids and adults. The playroom was great, baby elephants everyday came to the pool, waterslide, and even kids plates and utensils at every restaurant. The cafe was the perfect place to eat all our meals, the breakfast which was included in our rate was an A+, the service is great, the room roomy, they really set the standard high for family resorts. Downsides include it's remote location, not by anything else really and taxis are pretty expensive to come and go.

Loved the design of this hotel, it is modern and really beautiful. The only downsides are the distance from anything else except the JW Marriott, and taxis are expensive to come and go. Also, if you are travelling with kids the JW Marriott might be a little more kid friendly.

Wenn ein 5 Sterne Hotel seinem Namen gerecht wird, dann das Andara Resort. Die Zimmer der Penthouse Pool Villa sind riesig und es fehlt an nicht. Angefangen von der voll ausgestatteten Küche, dem Bose Soundsystem, der geschmackvollen Möbilierung ist einfach alles perfekt. Wir waren so was von begeistert. Wir reisen sehr viel und haben in diesem Preissegment […] bis jetzt nicht gefunden, das so der Oberhammer ist wie das Andara. Die Wünsche wurden uns von den Augen abgelesen. Aber absolut genial war die Lage. 2 Minuten zu Fuss nach Kamala. Vom Bett aus eine Traumaussicht . Unter auf userer Penthouse-Terrasse mit dem Privat Pool waren wir wiklich privat.
