"Recent stay in Sunapee"
Room was large and could hold lots of family. We rarely watch television, but wanted to catch the big ND/FSU game. TV didn't carry ABC televised game. Front desk wasn't able to help. Other than that we had a nice stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel for a small-town resort"
Family-owned hotel, and it runs like one. On three separate occasions we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to help us. The restaurant and room service were completely shut down for a wedding on Saturday night. There is also no breakfast service - not even continental offerings in the lobby. The room was enormous and […] very clean, but the furnishings and electronics were very dated. It was comfortable - I slept great and enjoyed my room, but you should definitely not expect things to run as they might at a nice hotel in a bigger town. I do think the price was high considering the lack of a restaurant, room service, etc., but I would probably stay there again if I return to the area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"We went to have a quiet, relaxing stay."
It was so much fun to have all the rooms we had. Even though we did not have guests w/us, you could walk about and feel at home.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great for family or couples getaway"
the rooms are nice and cozy. lots of space - seperate bedroom, work area, living room and kitchen (stove, microwave, fridge, toaster, etc). pool is small, but the spa is fairly big and nice. did not get any treatments so can't really say much about quality. location was very convinient- 5 mins to Sunapee Beach and Sunapee Mt. base.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent location & amenities"
Aside from the room being a little musty, it was a lovely stay at a lovely place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice set up. We were only there for one night, but it would be a good place to stay for an extended time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Reasonable hotel, although in need of a little updating. I found the staff on the desk were not very approachable or friendly, although those in the bar/restaurant were very helpful. It would have been useful to know in advance that the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, given there are not many other dining options in the immediate area […] ... "Relaxing during the off season"
Apart from the fact that they don't serve food during the off season but that there is a store close by, this place has everything you need, Our room was bigger than our London apartment. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the shower hot and it had extra clothes hanging space in the hall. It was only $3.50 to get a load of laundry […] washed and dried using their machines downstairs. Can't criticise it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Sort Getaway for some R & R"
11/13/14 PAUL C WESTFORD
My wife & I took a brief trip up north to the Lake Sunapee area for a couple of days. We stayed at the Mountain Edge Resort & Spa. We were very pleased with the resort accommodations. Our room was especially cozy with a gas fireplace and wood & beam ceiling to give it added charm. Very roomy with kitchen, study, living room & bedroom with a king size bed & full bath. Also included is a small balcony with a nice view. The bed was firm but very comfortable. Only one small negative was the shower was a bit too strong with too sharp a spray. The location could not have been better less than a mile from Mt Sunapee & Lake Sunapee. It was perfect for our intent to visit a few of our favorite New England towns, Hanover, NH and Woodstock, VT.. An added "customer delighter" is the general store next to the resort owned & operated by the resort. It had all the little things you often need on your stay but forgot to pack, plus snacks, beer, wine, coffee, pastries & the paper for early morning reading with coffee. We received very good recommendations for restaurants in the area which we took advantage of. Unfortunately the tavern on site was closed. It looked charming with it's field stone fireplace and cozy bar. We'll be sure to plan our next trip when it's open.
"Great location, service, and rooms but if you're coming for the pool, don't."

We have stayed here twice now, mostly due to the fact that their rooms are spacious and can comfortably accommodate ourselves and our 3 toddlers. The location is nice. We would come here more often but the pool is frigid (although if you ask the blonde lady at the front desk w the southern drawl what the temp is she will say that it is set at the max temp allowable under law, haha) and therefore the kids don't love it. If they turned their heat up, they would likely do a lot more family business cause as all parents know, the pool is pretty much all that matters to kids for a winter break ;)
"I liked the resort itself"
I enjoyed my stay the maintenance men were very polite and the tavern was wonderful. I did receive a massage from I believe her name was ally and was less then perfect she was nice but it was as if she was just going through the motions. The staff there are very welcoming though.
"A fabulous resort"
10/10/14 Donna C Lexington, Massachusetts
My husband and I, as well as our kids and grandchildren have truly discovered a home away from home. The resort is tastefully decorated in a New England theme throughout, the rooms are mini apartments; very spacious and comfortable with everything you may need, the staff have become like family, Paul the Chef is extremely accomodating and willing to serve your needs as well as making a visit to each table, the spa is wonderful! The Mountain Edge is in a prime location. Next to Mt. Sunapee for skiing and a variety of other activites and minutes from Lake Sunapee so there is always lots to do in the area. We are very excited to be heading back this weekend for a family celebration for our granddaughter's birthday. Overall, whether you are looking for a romantic get away weekend, a family vacation, a guys or girls weekend you have found it all at the Mountain Edge!
"Ideal for wedding party stay"
09/04/14 Catherine M Ridgefield, Connecticut
We traveled to NH for our son's wedding, which was held at a nearby location. Most of our friends and family were from out of town and had their hotel stay booked at The Mountain Edge Resort and Spa - which was ideal! We stayed in one of their over sized suites - two King sized beds and two Queen sized pull out sofas. We had a number of gatherings in the evening - and with a galley kitchen, table and living room, we had plenty of room to entertain. The hotel has a Sports Bar, swimming pool, full-service spa, and even hosted a bon fire one evening for our group. I only wish they had a restaurant in the hotel for breakfast - there is food at the bar in the evening. There is a convenience store with coffee and breakfast and lunch foods as you enter their property - so it's really not bad to have to walk down the driveway:)
"Wonderful Family Getaway!"
09/01/14 Chris I Westchester County, New York
Our first time the Mountain Edge Resort and we can give it a thumbs up all the way! Rooms are perfect for families large and small. We were five and had all the space we needed for both family fun and some privacy from or for the kids. Everything was very clean and rooms had all we needed. Location cannot be beat. Nestled right next to Mount Sunapee entrance for skiing and summer fun in the Adventure Center. Minutes from pristine beach, hiking, boat rides, and all that the beautiful lake has to offer. Food supplies available at the adjacent General Store for breakfast. Dinner was good within the hotel. Plenty of other places to eat are short drives (Try Bubbas for great dinner). Staff could not be nicer. Indoor and outdoor pools are fine. A great find. We will be back!

Couldn't ask for a better vacation. The resort is wonderful. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, restaurant, spa, gym...everything you would want. The family had a ball, We spent a week with the grandkids and they can't wait to go back, neither can we. The staff at Mountain Edge are delightful..they cant do enough for you and are always available. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean! It is so nice to have all the comforts of home. Everything you need is provided....cookware, plates/utensils, glasses...etc. Mountain Edge is definitely the center of Sunapee.....

We recently stayed at Mt. Edge Resort and Spa. It was wonderful. Staff could not have been nicer. We ate at the restaurant on sight and it was delicious. Paul the Chef came to our table to see if our dinner was fine. Also, Greg our waiter, was so helpful. Definitely will be there again.
