nice place, friendly owners; front door needs work-hard to open;15-20 minutes to Princess Street-local bus going towards guest house has a bus stop right in front; post office close by inside mini market.

This was a wonderful old Edwardian house with lots if character. Jane the lady that owned and ran the guest house was loverly. Breakfasts were beautiful. Had a warm welcome on arrival and guidance on local information Eg. Buses, nearby attractions. The zoo,with the giant pandas, is 2 minutes walk away. Buses run at around 10 minute intervals during the day and hourly after midnight making it easy and cheap to get back after a night out in town. The room was clean and spacious with comfy beds. Had a choice […] of breakfasts which were served promptly. The owner kindly stored some foodstuff I had bought, to take home in the fridge. This hotel gives good quality accommodation and is excellent value for visiting Edinburgh and I will book here again next time I visit the city. Read more

Our host was available, friendly and efficient, we felt free to come and go as we pleased and everything in our room was spotless. We had a twin with en suite, all well appointed and comfortable, and breakfast was served with a smile with plenty of choice to set us up for the day. Would happily re-visit!

I spent two very comfortable nights in the single en suite room at the Quaich having been given a very warm welcome from Jane. The room was one of the cleanest I have stayed in, with most comfortable chair from which to watch TV or relax on with a view of the garden. The en suite was bright and very clean, with shower. Very comfortable, clean and personal with full English breakfast. Good position on frequent bus service to the centre approx 15mins away. Travel for the day for £3. Costorphine village, now a suburb of the city, is attractive with a useful selection of shops and restaurants. As a single traveller I felt very comfortable.

Molto comoda e bella la nostra suite (non abbiamo visto le altre stanze),molto professionale la landlady.Perfetto per chi arriva in auto dall'aeroporto o da direzione nord-ovest perche' ubicato esattamente a meta' strada per il centro. Nell'area di Corstorphine si trovano (a piedi) negozi e ristoranti.

Man sollte darauf achten, dass man ein von der strasse abgewandtes zimmer bekommt, da das haus an einer viel befahrenen strasse liegt. Sehr gute anbindung an flughafen und citybusse. Essen im "white lady" pub in der naehe sehr gut und preisguenstig.
