Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice. Walking distance to casino as long as the back gate to casino grounds doesn't get locked. Neighborhood is middle class and safe.

The hotel was okay - it did the job. Somewhere to sleep and take a shower. Their internet wasn't working though and it seemed it was an on-going problem so double check before you go. Everyone was nice though and again, if you're in a bind and just need a place to crash by JFK, it does the job.

My stay was not a bad experience. The hotel staff was courteous and the rooms were clean. The free breakfast ran from 6:30am - 9:30am and it offered a good range of choices. The only inconvenience I experienced was that the hotel had no elevator (The only once available is used for handicapables only).

Bad parking, tiny rooms, no clock, lots of street noise.....I booked this hotel because it was close to JFK and we had a very early morning flight out. After driving through town for almost a half hour we arrived at the hotel only to find the majority of the parking was on the street, they only had 5 or 6 spaces on the premises. Two hotels had to share […] the street parking and it was full. I crammed myself into a space cutting off a bit of the driveway, oh well I was only going to be there for 4.5 hours. We went into the hotel and the lobby was downstairs below street level, we had to lug our suitcases down a flight of stairs. We got to our room which was barely big enough to turn, I went to set the clock, there was none. Our window was at street level so any noise on the sidewalk and street sounded like it was in our room. I was awakened at 3:00am by a truck being loaded across the street. Needless to say I didn't get any sleep. The bed was comfortable, I just wish I could have enjoyed it.....I wouldn't book here again. Read more

Bring a pair of ear plugs if you expect to get any sleep. We were lucky to have a pair left over from our Turkish Airlines flight, but that wasn't even able to drown out a party happening a couple of rooms over around 1am and whoever was next door having a hacking attack around 4am. They won't even send the shuttle over until you arrive, while numerous other hotels in the area had shuttles waiting. I have stayed in Comfort Inn and Suites properties in Seattle, Portland, and El Centro, CA. They have all been nice, clean, and in decent locations. This place was old and run down. The hotel shuttle only runs once per hour on the half hour. I was not too concerned about that, because I knew it was only a $12 cab ride to the airport, so I could use […] that. When I checked out and asked for a cab, the person at the front desk called one for me. Once I was loaded in the car and on my way, I noticed there was no meter. Great. When I got to the airport, the charge was $30. Apparently the kids at the front desk must have a deal with some private company who takes their guests for a ride. If I can't count on consistency with the Comfort Inn name, I won't use their hotels anymore. Read more

Comfort Inns, for the price range they're in, always have nice beds. This one did too, and the room was OK. The internet didn't work well, however, and the staff wasn't exactly friendly. When I entered the room at 1:00 am after a long flight I found food, keys, trash on the desk. I was too tired to complain that night so i told the desk in them morning about the unclean room. I looked like someone had used the keys to come back into the room, eat and then left it after the room had been cleaned. I booked this after Hurricane Sandy as my flight came into JFK late and did not want to have to worry about getting transportation with the scarcity of sources. I waited over an hour for the shuttle (made two calls) at 11:00 at night. When the shuttle finally arrived, after dropping off to the sister hotel, the driver informed us that the hotle had […] no electricity. When I inquired when they had lost power, I was told during the storm. There was never any information stating this when I booked, nor did anyone tell me when I called the two times for the shuttle. Upon arrival, I talked about shuttle times. The next morning, even though I had been given information that the shuttle ran every hour, I was told the shuttle had just left and there would not be another one for 2 hours due to gas issues. Although the hotel itself has a bit of wear, our room was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is working class, but during the day, felt safe. Because of the close proximity to JFK, we will stay here again. First floor rooms are below ground level, so ours felt dark. Request an upper floor if you like light!

The procedure of shuttle service needs fine tuning when the Sky Train is out of service, the trip to federal Circle to your door from A.A. terminal took me 1 hr. 40 min., the trip to A.A. the next morning took 12 min. I won't make that mistake in the dead of winter. The identification of your shuttle needs to be clearer to your customers, while waiting i got on two clearly marked Comrort Inn busses only to be told they were not my shuttle . The desk manager Ramon, clarified the La Quenta Bus to me and this fixed me up. The N.Y. The hotel is conveniently located a few blocks from a subway station. Shuttle service from/to the airport is included, although this service runs only every hour. The rooms are very decent and comfortable. Overall it's a very good choice for the traveler who does not plan to spend a lot in hotel and transportation in NYC.

It was confusing with which shuttle bus to take, as their are a few Comfort locations. The drivers aren't clear about the specific Comfort Inn they drive to. We got on the wrong bus and had to return to the airport to catch the right bus. They are very timely in the a.m. and this was great, as we had an early morning flight.

Not on par with other Comfort Inns or similar quality hotel chains. Room smelled bad and was dirty - Sticky red liquid on the bathroom floor and oily substance on the desk. Luckily I only needed the room for a few hours before my international flight.

Close to JFK, but poor parking, no elevator for suitcases, had to carry them down awkward stairs, bathroom minimally clean, shower curtain had over dirt and I had to cover toilet surface before I used it.
