Prices are great, it is clean, and the fact that you can keep pets is wonderful. I usually love this brand, but I have to give this place an uncharacteristically low rating because of the staff. Some were nice, some were rude. But allowing employees to hang out sitting on the tables near the elevators is a little unprofessional in my opinion. And having some staff eating breakfast and watching an R-rated movie in the dining room was strange. That, and checking in and having not one but 2 sets of keys not work, and not properly booking a pet to be in the room, plus the cable not working and staff saying that "that section of the hotel just didn't pick up the signal" all led to a negative experience. A clean and fairly quiet place in a great part of town, but I was surprised at the relative lack of service when compared to other Comfort Inn stays.

Where do I start?? Mildew all around the shower walls, hair in dresser drawers & on beds, unknown substance splattered on bathroom mirror with hair stuck to it, both garbage cans were full of trash, trash particles along edges of walls and in closet. Parking lot lighting is almost nonexistent. The curtain only closes halfway and is disturbingly transparent for a hotel curtain. I can hear fighting in the hallway. How do I add pictures????
"No Longer Country Inn, Now Comfort Inn & Suites"

Stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites for one night. Overall experience was very pleasant. There are some cosmetic flaws to this motel, but it is very clean with a very helpful staff. I do not know how long the new management (name change) has been in effect, but it appears they are still working on improvements. The breakfast area was well maintained with an outstanding lady attending it.

Ill start with the bad Manager parks closest to the front door opposed to leaving it for a guest. I got helped by the second shift while she continued talking on her cell phone and then she ignored a call coming into the hotel to continue talking on the cell. Caught staff smoking weed as me and kids were in pool. (Like we cant smell it and youre around kids doing it). Breakfast girl never stocks. She prefers to gossip, sit out on the front bench or flirt with a certain guest. Ive now stayed 4 night total so here is the good. liked my upgrade to a suite. Tho the staff needs improvement due to a lack of proper authority they are very friendly. Breakfast would be great if she kept everything stocked. Rooms are very clean. Pool is small but nice
"This has changed brand names - it's now a Comfort Inn"

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean rooms, but the bed was way too firm for me and the in-room coffee terrible. They accept dogs too. Lots of places to walk them. Average breakfast but it's free! Several restaurants nearby.

This was my first time staying in Daphne, AL. This hotel is very clean and the staff is very nice. The rooms are spacious and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable. My only complaint is the internet. I stayed for two days and could get the internet to work on my iPad, but on my laptop, it wouldn't read their server. I wasn't the only guest that was having this problem.
"Nice place convenient to shopping"

Check in was quick and easy. Hotel staff were friendly. The room and hotel in general were clean, modern and well-maintained. The temperature controls in the room left something to be desired. Instead of a thermostat where you could set a target temperature, there were only "hot" or "cold" and fan speed settings. It would get too hot so we'd switch to cooler. Then it was too cold so back to heat. It didn't help that it's the time of year when the nights are cold and the days are warm, though.
"Great and Pet Friendly but Complicated Billing"

I really liked this hotel. We were in town for a friend's wedding and this was the only place that would allow us to bring our dogs. The room was clean and the hotel looked brand new. Comfy bed too. The breakfast was much better than other hotel breakfasts I've seen. The staff was also really friendly. This hotel is also in a really nice area. There are shops and restaurants across the street and it allows easy access to the highway. My one complaint is the billing - I have no idea what is going on with the billing. The hotel gave us a receipt listing a completely different (lower) price than what was actually charged. Also, if you book through their website there is a booking fee. Excuse me? I self-booked and was charged a fee for that privilege? So, now we are having to call and straighten this whole mess out which slightly taints an otherwise perfect stay.
