The rooms were very clean, spacious and in an overall good condition. The Breakfast satisfies your hunger, but it could be more abundant. Overall it is absolutely recommendable.

The clerk was very nice. The bed sheets were super nasty. I asked to be move to another room only to find that they too were nasty as well. So, I ended up bring sheets from my home. I would really suggest if you stay here you check your bedding really good.

Overall the place was clean, but as I had read the reviews beforehand I was a little scared. Because it was a converted hospital, it did indeed look like that and it was a little creepy walking in the halls. But I did have an issue with booking when I first got there which was my fault and the girl at the front desk helped me to clear it all up.

Building has dialysis center on ground floor and hotel floors split between temporary and permanent guests. Ran by a christian mission, pictures of underprivileged children on the walls in the hallway. Room felt like an upgraded hospital room. We had a late flight so we arrived at the hotel after 1:30AM. We booked the room for 1 night just as a place to sleep for a few hours knowing that we would be arriving late. The front desk staff seemed friendly enough. However, when we got off the elevator to go to our room, we were really felt like we were in a hospital and not a hotel. It even smells […] a bit like a hospital. As we entered we noticed that it was not very clean but we were too tired to complain. The sheets were dirty but we decided to just place a towel over the spots and just try sleep for a few hours. After further inspection of the room when we woke up, we saw that the counter had coffee mug rings as if the counter was not even wiped down. The curtains had slime on them (I don't want to ever think about what it was). There were hairs all over the bathroom. I took several pictures and would post them if I could. They don't tell you that the place is a Christian ministry and is honestly meant for larger church kind of groups as there is a huge open room where you can watch tv on couches and stuff outside the room, very odd walking out and seeing people sitting there watching tv. AND!! The big AND here the place is an old hospital and it looks and still smells […] like a hospital. Oh and it's a dry policy (no alcohol), sketchy pictures of children on the walls. I had seen this hotel come up before many times in my hotel searches for this area, but this time I finally decided to try it out... It is a strange place - the only area that resembles a hotel is the lobby - which they proudly display in their photos... Once you step out of the lobby to the elevators, the "Clinic" experience starts!! This place seems […] much more like a health/help clinic than anything resembling a hotel... The hallways are as wide as a hospital, and decorated similarly... On the way to your room, you will pass all kinds of clinics, which makes you wonder where you are... Once in the room, again it seems more like you are sleeping in an office or clinic than a hotel... Its hard to describe the feeling, but it doesn't help that the ceiling tiles, and cheap carpet tiles are what you would find in an office space, and NOT a hotel... Add to all of this the fact that this place is a religious organization - and again your experience is less "hotel-like"... I had no problem with the music blasting from the late night Gospel service around the corner from the lobby, but the fact that you have to sign a form agreeing not to have any alcohol in your room (along with not smoking of course) just pushed the whole thing over the edge for me (not that I was planning on drinking anything anyway)... My boyfriend and I came down to Florida for my interview at a nearby university and found this place, with descent reviews and a good deal on a room. The Forum is right off the hwy, but in a very random location. More importantly, it is a *PARTIALLY-RENOVATED HOSPITAL! It's connected to a Dialysis center and a church, and the rooms are clearly remodeled […] health-facility rooms. The area for the rooms are accessed with a key-remote system that hospitals use, the beds and furniture are older than dirt, and it even smells like a senior citizens' home. Not only that, but we could hear other rooms through the walls, our tv had a crack on the screen, remote was closed by MEDICAL tape, and we definitely found 2 cockroaches: one in the handicapped-railed bathroom of ours and another on our BED. Shower curtain had mold on it... Just run. I felt unclean, awkward, creepy, and I regret not giving in and paying a little more for a normal-named hotel! Read more

I reserved a room for 3 for a weekend at the Renaissance Faire in Deerfield Beach. I thought I would be getting simply a room with two queen beds but what we got was a full suite with a large bedroom and living room, dining area, sofa, overstuffed reading chair, FULL kitchen, two TVs with DVD players - this place was decked out. The common area in this […] wing had the biggest television I have ever seen. The only thing small about it was the bathroom - we had to sidle up next to the toilet to open and close the bathroom door and the shower was dark because the shower curtain blocked all the light. Also the AC in the bedroom portion seemed to be blowing hot air even though the thermostat was set to 72 and the living room area was cooled down properly. The breakfast served in the morning downstairs from 7-10 a.m. is a full breakfast bar with coffee, juices, cereals, muffins, hot bagels and toppings. FANTASTIC. The STAFF of the Forum was absolutely wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable, and unintrusive. Be advised that there is NO smoking in this building. They have a policy that if anyone is caught smoking within the building, they are FINED very heavily (more than twice the cost of the room). They do not mind however if you go out front and smoke away from the entrance, so it is not really a big deal. Unlike other hotels, we were not charged for using the incidentals in the room (such as the soaps and the coffee). Read more

The staff was genuinely pleasant and the lobby looked nice. Beyond the lobby is where things changed! This is a converted hospital and it still has the hospital/retirement home smell. Everything seemed clean enough in our room. The beds however were horrible. I sat on the edge of one and could feel the springs in the mattress. Fortunately we were just there for the night passing through but I would have been happier in a cheaper motel for that. This place might be worth $40 a night but I wouldn't pay more then that for it.
