In general, it was ok. However, the mattresses were very uncomfortable and sagged noticeably. Both beds were uncomfortable.It was "no frills" but I would have used a hair dryer if it was available.

Worst hotel ever stayed at; rooms STANK like rotting garbage, tile cracked and missing, shower ran hot or cold if next room used water, etc. Do not even think about staying here!

Very friendly people.They were in the middle of remodeling when we were there.I would say it was pretty decent for a road side independent motel.It was not perfect but very adequate.We stayed in round building that was to the left of the main building.

The room was clean, but old. TV was new, beds looked new and felt good for Motel Type lodging. Had a good night sleep. Shower had hot water for my shower, but I think it was a shared water heater with other rooms because my father mentioned that temp vacillated on him from hot to cold. The linens/Towels could be whiter/newer but if that doesn't bother […] you, they seemed all clean and smelled fresh. In general I would expect to pay less for this kind of Motel, but due to lack of lodging in the area I would say it is ok. Looks like they are still renovating the place so I will be curious to see how much better it gets. Read more

I am not holding any of the conditions against the new Owners as they did explain that they were in transistion. However, I felt that the continental breakfast portion of there advertisment was very poorly handeled as they had only one small coffee pot in the reception area. They should invest in small coffee pots for every room then we can overlook […] the poor choice of breakfast items. Read more

We recently stayed at the Scottish Inn at Potsdam NY on our way through upper NY state. Needed a budget location for one night and this was budget - in every sense. Room was clean enough, but bed was hard for sleeping. Reminiscent of 1950's era motel -- not updated since. AC worked, but loud and droned like a B52 bomber. Supposed to include continental […] breakfast -- nothing to put on toast -- even butter. Coffee horrible. Dry donuts in cello wrap was all they had available. Needsless to say, we found breakfast on the road. Would not recommend this motel. Read more
