The best thing was this hotel is close to several restaurants and close to Narita Station (one station away from Narita Airport), and is also accessible to Tokyo.

Great location if you want to get out of the airport area. They have a free shuttle and the train is 200 yards away. Narita city is a lovely area to walk, run or shop around. Much nicer than staying at the airport. It is extra for two beds so if a couple save the money and get one bed.

The hotel is convenient to JR Narita Station, just make sure you go through the WEST exit of the station; thats the one NOT immediately next to the ticket gate. We paid for a double room and were given a very small room where we bumped into each other whenever our paths crossed (no exaggeration). Just in case you are wondering: no, we are not tall or over-weight. Worse was the fact that we had one small bed to share. It was obviously not a "double room" experience. On the plus side, the wake up call in the […] morning worked, and the "Don't disturb" sign had its intended effect: nobody seemed to have entered our room for cleaning during the second day of our stay. We had read that free upgrades were often offered here. Really? We weren't that lucky. That aside, we won't be staying here again. Selling a single room to two people--and then for almost twice the price to boot--wasn't our idea of what it takes to create a loyal following. Read more

I had a single room so it was small the bed was a single bed but it was still a pretty decent room. It was a little pricy but the free shuttle from/to the airport was really great and that made it worth it. Right next to the train station so great way of going elsewhere from the hotel.

The room was small but had everything I had wished for: shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, internet connection, etc. Generally clean but I found mould on the tray in bathroom. 7 miles from the airport but train station was 5 minutes' walk. Restaurants and 24/7 supermarkets in surrounding neighborhood.

I only stayed at the hotel for an overnight layover, but it was a pleasant stay. It had all the main toiletries, so if you forgot your toothbrush or razor,, no problem! The bed was comfortable and it had air conditioning. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel!

I would be willing to stay here again. This hotel has a shuttle service. If you take a taxi from Narita airport to this hotel, it will cost about 4000 yen. The a/c temperature cannot be controlled, only the blower speed can be adjusted. A decent basic hotel for the price.

Upon checking in I found the room to be very small it had only 1 plug inn it to charge my lap top, Phone, etc. but it was cofortable the bathroom was great hot hot water. The staff was nice, and helpful but english was not strong. Its located right near JR station so travel was easy. The area had lots of food, bars are scarced and english speaking people […] even scarce. The are is expensive but i Guess thats Japan. Guest room is small, so are bathroom, desk, tables and night stand. But, it has all the convenients any large hotel chain offers. The modern water sprout toilet works like a charm, a provided Japanese bath robe was a nice touch too. The internet connection does not work all the time. We have to use JR Train to Airport during mid-day which was not scheduled to run. (Shuttle take about 25 minutes to airport T2, while train only needs 10 minutes). U-City Hotel is not as close to the airport as you might think. Bus ride to Hotel took 40 minutes from the airport. The room condition was not at all like the picture on Expedia. The carpet was filthy as if someone had spilled, coffee or tea or gravy on it, and the bedspread had cigarette holes all over it. seriously if there had been any way out we […] would have stayed elsewhere, none of us got sleep wondering about the smell! on a positive note, I did check the matress creases for bed bugs and found no signs of them. hotel is not too far from the train station but if you have more baggages then the walk is not easy. the carpet is dirty, room has an odd smell, seems that they are short of cleaning crow as the cleaning was ongoing even at 3 in the afternoon ... stuff are helpful and can understand and speak english, which is not a given in japan. the shuttle bus […] was on time to drop customers at the airport. i had to get to the airport 4 hours in advance because the schedule of the shuttle bus is limited (after 7 a.m. is 8:15 a.m.; it would be more convenient if there were one at 7:30 a.m.) the small city of narita has a nice main street with many interesting shops, a nice walk to an old temple. if you need to stay for a night, make sure you have at least 1/2 day to explore it ... overall my experience was good.
