Great B&B! Breakfasts were amazing. Location is about 12 mi east of Tucson at the edge of the Saguaro National Park East. If you have many activities in downtown Tucson, this may be a bit far out. However if you want desert scenery, quiet starlit nights free from traffic noise and light pollution, this is the place! The Suncatcher Inn is a beautiful, charming, and immaculate property. The hosts are welcoming, and the breakfasts are probably the best I have ever had. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the great room of the Inn looks out over a dramatic mountain range. The Suncatcher is amazing!

We were only at the SunCatcher for one night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Janos made us feel right at home from the tiime we arrived. And with the delicious breakfast the next morning we could've stayed indefinitely. Wonderful B & B!

This is a real gem in the desert. If you want to stay away from all the noice and traffic of the city this Inn is for you.Beautiful spacious rooms and delicious food. Your host is a great chef. The Suncatcher was a great place for a relaxing vacation in Tucson. It was far enough outside the city to be quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to the restaurants and other attractions. Also, it's located just outside the national park. Our host was very gracious and helpful and presented us with a delicious gourmet breakfast every morning.

Our host was very friendly and very responsive to special diet needs. The breakfast was gourmet & outstanding. Perfect location for someone going to Saguaro National Park, Sabino Canyon and Mt. Lemmon Observatory. The room was very large and very comfortable. My wife and I spent 10 nights in February at the Suncatcher Inn. The experience could not have been much better. Breakfasts were a gourmet treat every morning. Janis said we would not get the same menu twice during our stay, and he was right. Our bed was extremely comfortable and our room was cleaned each day. The weather was not warm enough to use […] the outdoor amenities, but there were many daily excursions to keep us busy. Attending the Accenture Match Play Championships (PGA golf) one day, the rodeo parade, the Indian Art Fair, trip to Tubac, and numerous hikes (including Sabino Canyon, Janis-recommended Madera Canyon, and nearby Sahuaro East National Park) all made for a busy schedule. We played golf at 49er Country Club, famous Randolph North course, and del Lago (especially good). Don't miss Buddy's Grill south on Houghton. Thanks to our innkeeper, Janis. He was a treat. My wife and I found this B&B near Saguaro National Park run by a truly warm, informal and charming Hungarian gentleman, Janos. It is the perfect base for hiking or horse riding in Saguaro National Park, which is in walking distance. (However, for ambitious hikers who favor great views in addition to the Saguaros, I would not suggest the local trails […] but rather an out-and-back hike on the long trail on the ridge, a short drive away.) The house is fabulous, with a huge great room, beautiful views of the every changing mountains. The resulting atmosphere seems to be ideally conducive to evening conversations with guests: we met an exceptionally interesting German couple there. An amazing breakfast, but plan to skip lunch! Perhaps the very best B&B we have stayed in, and we've stayed in them a lot. Read more
