Microtels are generally good stays for me since I stay there for business. This particular one was no exception. There is one thing to know, the walls are very, very thin. I was fine since I was traveling alone for work but a family should be concerned staying here just due to the nocturnal activities of some guests. You never know...

Great value for your money! Hotel is clean and well maintained, friendly staff, free wi-fi, comfortable beds, pool, free breakfast, decent location. The hotel is surrounded by casinos, and there is a nice movie theater within walking distance. It is close to main highway in town. The drawbacks to the hotel are minimal, It is what I would expect for […] the low cost of the hotel. There is no hot-tub, a full pool and workout room, but no hot-tub seems strange. The breakfast was a bare minimum of what I would call a continental breakfast, nothing is prepared hot/cooked. Still enough to get you started in the day. It was a great stay. We really liked the hotel it would have been perfect if there would have been a hot tub in the pool area. That is one thing we like to do when we take these little trips.

Front desk representative was nice and helpful. Lobby furniture needed a cleaning very badly. Rooms were nice but again the carpet needed a cleaning. Bed was comfortable. Location was near casinos and they also provided shuttle service which was a big plus. Many restaurants nearby to chose from. All in all good hotel especially for the price.

The super-bright lights outside came right through and around the room's curtains, so it was kind of hard to sleep. Overall decent room for the price. Rooms are quite small. Bed was really hard and not real comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent: cereal, waffles. Muffins and toast.

It was quiet, clean and decent. I had no complaints other than the front desk staff wasn't ever at the desk. You had to ring the bell for them to come. My husband went out to put our stuff in the car at 6 in the morning and got locked out. There wasn't anyone to let him back in....

The hotel was fine, A couple of the desk clerks sent us on "wild goose chases". We went way out of our way when we could have driven a mile or so to get where we wanted to go. Evidently they had no idea where things were. The female clerks were very helpful with the wireless connection.

My husband and I checked in on Thanksgiving 2012. The staff who checked us in was friendly and honored our request to be on the top floor. The room was small, but very nice. The room was clean and sufficient. The first night (Thursday) was great, no problems. My husband and I left on Black Friday to do some shopping. We were gone from approx. 9am until […] 6pm. We put the "Maid Service Requested" sign on our door when we left our room at 9am as we had taken showers and slept, and the room needed some upkeep. When we returned at 6pm (9 hours from when we left), our room had not been touched - no one had cleaned it - and we had come back to the hotel for the soul purpose of taking a shower before we left to our next event. I called the front desk - let them know the issue - and 20 minutes later, the person working came up to our room, offered us new keys to a suite that was a couple of doors down, and also gave us $20 in cash for our troubles. They fixed the issues - and the suite was very nice and appreciated. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay with (almost all) friendly staff, this is the place to go. However, the walls are thin - if you don't want to be woken up on Saturday morning at 8:15am by the housekeepers playing their music and chatting, then this probably isn't the place for you. Did not enjoy staying in a disabilities room, shower head would not stay adjusted to a higher position and did not have anywhere to put personal items in the bathroom with no counter space. It seemed that I heard every door open and shut early in the morning and could not sleep past 5 am. the sheets on the bed were dingy/almost yellowish. hotel was not very well marked or easily seen. also there is a one way so you have to go around and then come back to the hotel. breakfast was good and people were friendly. the pool was quite small though and no hot tub either. disappointing there.

This was the second time I've stayed in a Microtel and much better than the first time, since the bigger 'Accessible' room I'd gotten the first time had the short shower curtain in the bathroom that results in water on the floor. This room was smaller, but highly efficient in design and so comfort. All corners (counters, desk, towel rack) are rounded […] to avoid ramming into them. Plenty of useable counter space in the bath with everything well positioned, so smaller size is unnoticable. Rounded corner two shelf surfaces either side of bed are plenty for clockradio, glasses, a book/tablet, but are open so nothing gets forgotten. TV is above the desk surface which has plenty of room for a laptop and a light pull-out chair. At the back end of the desk are 2- 2' square drawers and an open space above to store folding clothes and personal items, as well as a 2' square closet that easily hung a garment bag. I instead used the extra padded 'cot' space above the air conditioner under the window to stage my luggage. I'm impressed enough with this efficient and comforatble design that I'll be trying these again on my next trip, at both much lower cost and less cavernous spaces to navigate and search for personal items on exit. I experienced none of the issues mentioned by others with broken glass in the parking lot and only the sound of one train in the distance during the night, though my room on 3rd floor above the entrance had a bit of noise from other people leaving in the morning. Rooms were quite clean compared to other hotels. The hotel staff at the front dest were extremely helpful and very friendly, I was impressed. The access to the hotel parking lot was really my only gripe. Overall, if we had to stay in the Omaha/council bluffs area again I would probably stay at this hotel again.

I guess we should have guessed from the name "Microtel" that the rooms may be small, and they were. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was standard fare - but they did have a waffle maker.

The hotel was nice and clean everywhere. They had a good variety of foods for breakfast, and the staff was overall pretty nice. The pool was pretty cold though, and there weren't fridges in the rooms.

The stay was very comfortable. The staff was excellent, and very helpful. The only drawback i could see was the shower curtains were not long enough and the water from the shower got all over the floor. If i could make any changes, it would be longer shower curtains and coffee in-room.

We played in the Nebraska Regional Bridge Tournament and the Hotel was very well situated near the Conference Center. It was easy to get downtown Omaha for Church and Restaurants. We will book again next year.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel, not knowing what to expect because the room price was considerably lower than other hotels we were considering staying in. The hotel was clean and well organized. The staff was courteous and helpful. I needed something close to Omaha to work for a couple of days. The Wireless internet is not encrypted but very stable. Location is next to AMC Theaters parking lot. Broken glass and smokers waste litter the Microtel parking lot and should be cleaned. Inside, the hallways and rooms are very clean, simple and modern. Very practical stay, good value overall. Loved the window seat in the room, my three year old immediately 'claimed' it as her spot. Clean bathrooms, spotless linens.
