Hampton Inn Okeechobee Lake - Okeechobee

The only thing keeping me from giving it the highest rating is the fact I could not shower very long before the hot water ran out. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

My only negative comment is about the cleanliness of the room. Towels weren't replaced daily and the sink and shower could have been cleaned better. I also didn't feel the room was vacuumed thoroughly.

Great hotel. This is the best place to stay in Okeechobee. It is very new and clean. Great staff. Breakfast in the morning is a real plus. This is a comfortable hotel for anyone, but, would be excellent for families with kids.

All was good except, like a lot of hotels, it appears one cannot set the A/C fan to blow all night non-stop. It shuts itself off when its not cooling the air. We want the fan to blow constantly to block out, outside noise/traffic.I could be wrong...

I travel frequently to Okeechobee for business and this is by far the best place to stay. Very clean and well maintained, and with lots of experience with Hampton Inns, this is one of the best if the chain.

I always stay here when I visit my family! The hotel is extremely clean and convenient. The staff is outstanding! They are always welcoming and accomidating, especially when my family comes to visit me at the hotel. The pool area is always clean and beautiful... Defintely my home when I am in town! Highly reccommend this hotel!

This was a repeat stay for me. The breakfast buffet was more than expected when compared to other hotels in the same price range. The location is close to town behind Applebees and next to the post office. I will stay here again should I need to return to Okeechobee, Florida.

we liked the decor of the room, the beds were very comfortable, AC worked well. They offer a decent breakfast every day, coffee 24/7. We even went swimming in their pool, which we usually don't, but it was clean, the area around it clean, and quiet. Overall, I would go back again if I travel back to the lake area.

Room was very clean. Would have liked a microwave in room and refridgerator. Store items were convenient, but had to use the kitchen microwave to heat up food items purchased; and then back to room. Children loved having hot chocolate anytime! The pool area and pool was clean.

Impressed with everything about this hotel. The room was spotless, the gym was well supplied and the hot breakfast was good. However, the A/C in the room was loud and the fan cut off when the A/C reached its set temperature which meant that all through the night it would wake me up when it started. This hotel is located close to a sporting and training event I was attending. I paid a very reasonable rate without having to settle for a lesser quality hotel. Everything about this hotel was clean and well maintained. I will stay here again in the future. Hands down this is the BEST Hotel in Okeechobee Florida. Check in was rushed- manager did not even check my ID. Asked for my credit card, even though I was paid in full. Said it was for incidentals, so I gave it to her. The next morning i noticed a 30 dollar hold on my acct. i went to the desk and the paper I had signed the night before was highlighted pink in the areas that explained the hold- btw- she highlighted […] it after The fact, my bad for not reading the entire sheet before signing, bit i was exhausted after traveling since 6am and it was 4 pm by then. The room had red stains on the comforter, the fitted sheet was inside out- i called housekeeping and she changed it, said it was candle wax. The shower had very little hot water, had to call front desk for that. Then the sink wouldnt drain, had to have them fix that as well. The free breakfast was, shall I say- gross. The beds were as good as advertised. 24 hour desk coverage. Good breakfasts. We had to leave before 6 AM and they gave us a grab & go breakfast, which was great. Everyone very polite and helpful. Great bathroom. Everything clean. 24 hour coffee, tea and hot chocolate in lobby plus most days and nights cookies!

I have stayed in Okeechobee for over twenty years as a tournament angler. My stay at the Hampton was the most enjoyable in all that time. The staff were extremely helpful always going the extra yard. This our first time at a Hampton Inn. We were both pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, the decor and quality of bed linens. I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner bathroom that the one here. We would stay here again in the future.

The staff and service at this hotel was extraordinary. when i first arrived i was greeted and treated respectfully and found the front desk attendant extremely personable. My wife got lost on the way to the hotel, as we were taking two cars, and the man at the front desk spent 15 minutes on the phone with her to make sure she got to the hotel fine (we […] were unfamiliar with the area), regardless of the fact others were waiting to ask him questions as well. This hotel was a fantastic experience for me. The bedding was wonderfully comfortable. The bathroom was clean. There was a nice flower arrangement on the desk in the room that gave me a homey, welcoming feeling. The breakfast was filling and they had a variety of hot and cold drinks. We should have stayed next door at The Hampton Inn there and walk next door to The Marriot !! Rooms in The Hampton Inn were much roomier , appointed nicer and much more comfortable too at a rate that was consdierably more reasonable then The Marriot. We will never stay at at Marriot again when there is a Hampton Inn any where nearby from now on as we have learned our lesson well. Read more

The only problem I had was the power went off in the early morning. I called the front desk and they were very curt and unapologetic. I was not able to take a shower since i didn't have any light. The only thing the hotel did to make it up to us was to extend their breakfast hours by 30min.
