"Our Favorite Stay Over"
St. Iganace had just gotten a lot of snow but it was predicted. When we arrived the front parking lot had not been plowed. The desk manager apologized as we checked in but we left the hotel right away to get something to eat and another couple came out as we were leaving and said they were going somewhere else because there was no one at the desk, while […] we were putting our luggage in the room?, also because the parking lot was not maintained. We have been staying there since the 70's and refer a lot of people there. My husband has family in St. Ignace and there has been events going on when we didn't call ahead to make a reservation and had to stay somewhere else, WISHING we would have called earlier! "Its a very decent hotel for the Price"
It's good value for the price. I paid around 70$ for a double bed room. Was little surprised for what I got for what I paid especially considering it was the last room available on the day I booked. Wont mind there there next time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
it was nice they let the pool stay open later for usGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Every thing was fine, but there needed to be a table set where people could get their plates filled, or taken care of. We had to do it on the counter where all the food and toasters were. It was a bit crowded and clumsy to use the toaster and get like your waffles buttered and syrup on them. I felt as if I was in others way. ONE OTHER thing is the front […] desk was not covered at all very well, NO Personnel were see for long periods of time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

room was nice & clean, didn't know had a pool and didn't have suites.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Had a nice stay. Room was clean, staff friendly. Breakfast was decent. However the lobby is way too small to house very many. Glad we ate early.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was not very friendly and they didn't take care of the hot tub.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to ferry to island"
very clean hotel at great rates for the area. just across mackinac bridge and minutes from ferry to mackinac island and downtown st ignace city which we like better than the mackinac city downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice, convenient, clean, friendly. Not the biggest, nicest, newest hotel, but just what we were looking for. We'll stay again. Very close to the bridge.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very friendly! Only complaint was we were up on the second floor and the elevator wasn't' working and had to carry our suitcase and other bags up the stairs. Breakfast should be earlier as it didn't' start until 7.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was great. It was our 10 year anniversory so the upgraded us to a king room suite.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were very peased with our stay and price. Would recommend it and would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Voyager just OK"
The hotel is in a great location, was able to check in late. the room was clean enough, and did not smell. Bedding was not nice at all and a little on the old tattered side. The continental breakfast was really sad. We ended up going to McDonalds down the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel met all our needs for an overnight stay it was clean and had all we needed to have.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Parking in front of building was restricted."
Could not access car parked in front of building when we departed before lobby opened. Had to walk around building from back exit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to must-see sights"
I have never traveled with a pet before, but the accomodations for dog and persons were very satisfactory. The rooms were clean, quiet, and confortable. We were very satisfied with the rates, amenities, and location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice place and convenient for our trip. The only problem was that our room was very musty smelling.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was clean, no odors, etc. and the beds were very comfortable. They had a small continental breakfast available, but I didn't partake. The only problem was a very poor WIFI. I could only get 1 bar signal strength and the speed was worse than dial-up. For this reason, I would not stay there again, but if you don't need access to the internet, […] it is an OK place. "good value in st. ignace"
the voyager was a comfortable, convenient hotel in st. ignace. while they offer a continental breakfast, i'd recommend that you pass. non-smoking rooms may have likely been smoking rooms under the old mgmt... the rooms were a bit mustty. overall, i would recommend the motel, as it was a good value and acceptable for the UP.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great stay. Clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Will stay again when in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff at this hotel is exceptionally helpful we have stayed here in the past and will definatly stay in the futureGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice location. Helpful staff. Plumbing not the greatest...slow drains. Clean and quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was super friendly, room was spacious and reasonable. Our only complaint was that the blankets on both beds were threadbare. The binding was partially torn off on my blanket and had a big loop that my foot got tangled in getting out of bed in the morning. My friend's blanket actually had areas where you could see thru the blanket, it was so worn. […] I'd stay there again and hope they purchase new blankets! (The mattresses and pillows were great and seemed new.) We woke up too late for breakfast! Oops! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Voyger Inn near Mackinaw Island"
Great inexpensive place to stay. Would definately stay there again if we are in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful hotel for the price."
Very easy to find, lots of parking, We booked a non smoking room and when we went into the room it smelled like old smoke so we asked for another room and we were accomodated without any problems. Roomy bathroom. We were on our way to Northern Canada and just needed a nice inexpensive place to spend the night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We checked in to the Inn very late and the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The Inn was easy to find, easy in and out, and convenient to many area restaurants and attractions. The free continental breakfast had the usual selection of cereals, muffins, fruits and etc.. The Inn was slightly run down, which appears fairly normal for the area unless […] you get into higher priced lodgings. Our room was poorly maintained, but appeared relatively clean, until I pulled down the comforter and a roach scuttled out. I was able to kill it after a struggle, and didn't see any more. Being that it was now after 1am the staff was all gone and the chance of finding other lodgings was slim, so we stayed put. To be fair, I talked to some locals and they said roaches were virtually unheard of in the area, so maybe my little friend came in with someone else. Regardless, the room was prepaid the night before, and at check out you just drop your keys into a little box. So of course the staff was not around, and couldn't be made aware of our problem. I wouldn't stay here again, and wouldn't recommend you do either. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great U.P. ATV rentals!!!"
08/16/14 Stephen W Byron Center, Michigan
Great place to rent ATVs!!! Very easy trail access right from this hotel and over 100 miles of good trails! Very, very fun thing do for a family and easy to learn and operate the ATVs as they're automatics. My wife, son and I went so I rented a single and double. It was my son's 11th birthday and he had a great time. We didn't get to stay here because of our plans to go to Munising that night but it looked clean and comfortable. The lobby was classy and Breakfast was going on when we got there to pick up the ATVs and it looked and smelled great. It's conveniently located across from the Family Fare grocery store for getting your essentials before hitting the trail and close to many restaurants, ferry docks, and gas. After seeing it we would definitely take a chance on staying here especially because I think it's cheaper than others. What I liked best was the exceptionally friendly staff both several weeks ahead inquiring on the phone and then in person. Glen is the manager and he treated my family very good explaining the operation of the ATVs and answering any questions we had. Nice equipment at a fair price. I see they have snowmobile rentals too so we'll probably go back for that next.
"Not the cleanest or family friendly"
08/12/14 Dennis D
Our family stayed during the peak season in August 2014. For the price, we were expecting better. At first glance, the room was not very clean, and the walls were very marked up. That evening I took my kids to the pool. The pool was being used by two other people, but the hot tub had 12 teenagers in it. They soon moved to the pool, throwing a football around that nearly hit my son. My children no longer wanted to swim because the pool had literally been taken over (we were there 15 minutes). Upon going to bed, we found hairs (not ours) on the bed sheets. It was very warm the night we stayed so we turned on the air conditioner. It was very loud, like something was loose which created a very loud vibration. We had to turn it off so we could get some sleep. We then opened the window, which lead to a early wake up call from semis traveling down Route 2. The following morning we used the shower. The shower head was broken and kept slumping forward, which made for a interesting shower. On getting out of the shower, I grabbed the last towel ( not enough for a family), which was badly stained and so thin in spots you could see through it. It seriously looked like someone had cleaned their car with it. We were very disappointed. For the money there are better options.

Friendly staff. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Nice to have inroom refrigerator. Casino shuttle was convenient. Continental breakfast was quite adequate. Good coffee and OJ. We will return to this Inn. Enjoyed our stay.
"Good place to stay, not best value"
02/24/14 lilacs109 Farmington, Michigan
The price was mid-range. They put us in a room right on the pool area so the noisiness factor wasn't a good thing. The wifi did NOT reach our room despite our request that we be near it. It is not as expensive as the Best Western or Super 8.
"UP Snowmobiling Trip"
02/11/14 Jennifer h Detroit, Michigan
This is the second year in a row we went with a group of people to the UP to snowmobile. This is also the ONLY hotel we will ever stay at when visiting St Igance in the future. Glen, the owner of the hotel is outstanding to work with. While the hotel is older, it is VERY CLEAN and well maintained. The rooms are clean and wonderfully appointed. Beds are new and comfortable, TV's are flat screen and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The breakfast the hotel puts out in the morning was delicious, and the staff was on point to make sure plenty of hot coffee was available for guests. Glen's staff is very friendly and helpful. The hot popcorn served in the evening was a great touch for hungry riders. Overall, this is the only hotel we will ever stay at over the bridge. I would recommend you visit St Ignace in the winter to snowmobile, but also in November because the town is quiet and you are able to enjoy what it has to offer without tons of tourists. Well done Glen and staff. Well done!!

The staff was fantastic very helpful. We were thanked for our patronage several times. Perfect for a group of families. When we had our potluck they quickly set up a table on the second floor. Not posh place but family friendly.

We were traveling UP last month and stayed in different places.we were staying there recently, had to choose it because we were traveling with pet. Its kinda pricy for what you get. Our room smell as limewhiting..maybe its because indoor pool. bed was not comfy.
"Nice pet friendly inn but..try to check out their coupons at their website before checking in."
08/20/13 karenjn80 Ohio
Based on other travelers reviews, we stayed at this inn. It was very pet friendly and accommdating. For our stay for a friday night we paid $140.00. This price included a $10.00 pet fee per dog for our two dogs. We were placed in the little annex building beside the inn. Other travelers complained about not having a microwave, however we did and a ref with a small freezer. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Overall the room was satisfactory. Breakfast was great and enjoyable. The only things we were unhappy with were there was no phone in our room, and the room when we first entered it smelled musty and not used in awhile. The smell did go away after we turned on the ac, which worked well. Again based on other travelers reviews we thought we would get a much better price than we had. I realize that we did stay on a friday night in the summer, but for the price we paid I would have gone to a newer inn, motel, or hotel for the same money. Before writing this review I discovered if you go to this inn's website and click on coupons, they have a pet coupon for only $5.00 a night for your pet. They also have other discounts. With that being said our stay would have been much cheaper and we would have been happier with the price of the room. So I would encouarge you to check out their website before getting a room for their coupons.
"Awesome, Location and Service"

This is a great priced hotel in St Ignace, MI. If you are looking for luxury, go somewhere else. If looking for clean, great price hotel Look no farther. Close to the Highway for easy on and off. A few hours away from Major Northern attractions, But not far from boat shuttle to the Mackinaw Island. The Bridge view is awesome in the Straits State Park right across from hotel, we walked to it. The best part is having the ever smiling Jodi, manning the hotel, Loved her! The vending machine was out of water, when Jodi went out of her way, to give my SIL a huge glass of ice water. Jodi was on top of every issue that arise! AWESOME EMPLOYEE you have there! The hotel had an outside patio facing U.S.2. We got to see TONS of Mini Coopers drive back and forth, while enjoying the outdoors with a beer and cigarette. They do need an ashtray out there though. It irritates me that another smoker was throwing her cigarettes on the ground. No elevator, didn't partake in the continental breakfast, although lots did. They also had coffee day and night. And they make popcorn every night. We were to full to eat it from our fabulous dinners. We will stay again, BONUS IF the Friendly Jodi is working :)
