This is the original and the largest motel in the town and the county set on 7.5 acre of land in healthy green environment. We have been serving the people since 1953. Millions of Customers are happily coming over and over. We have newly renovated and freshly painted rooms. We have the largest Swimming pool around and great recreation area for kids. Whether it is for a short stay or a long stay we thank you for considering Whiteville and Holiday Motel.

went to check in - couldn't find my reservation went to use lobby bathroom - no toilet paper terrible smell in room that they tried to cover up with worse smelling room freshner - NO FRESHNESS Carpeting was wet Bathroom fixtures were rusty and dirty Sheets looked slept on TV was way too small to view Was never so ready to check out - was very glad weather […] didn't cooperate for Sunday's baseball game so we were able to check out at 8am!!!! We should have turned away when we were told we had to pay upfront (before we even saw the rooms) and that there were no refunds. Then we saw the rooms - first put in a smoking room with 2 double beds when we reserved a non-smoking king room. The smell of smoke was overwhelming so we were moved to a non-smoking room (still with double beds). This place […] is pretty creepy. The room smelled like decay to the point that we went out and bought a Glade Plug-in and some Lysol. When we pulled back the comforter to take it off the bed, there was what appeared to be blood stains on the lower mattress (and a suspicious bleached spot on the carpet next to it). We wouldn't have stayed except we had already paid! Don't expect any regular ammenities such as shampoo or a hairdryer. There is a lot of traffic noise that can be heard throughout the night as well. Oh, and I woke up with a roach crawling on me. Stay away. Read more
