"A very nice hotel in Kensington"
We had a wonderful, comfortable stay at the Presidential Apartments in Kensington. Hotel is conveniently located in the upscale, beautiful neighborhood of Kensington, a block from the Earl's Court tube station and a lively street with lots of restaurants and shopping. We stayed in one of the larger suites, which had a comfy queen sized bed in the bedroom, […] small kitchen with fridge and washing machine, and fold out sofa and chair in the living room. There was plenty of room to sleep our family of 4. Rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel staff was so very gracious and helpful, real examples of that famous English hospitality. "Great Apartment and Staff"
We stayed at the Presidential Apartments at Earls Court for five days and rented a one bedroom suite with courtyard access. The room contained everything we needed during our stay. There was housekeeping each day and the bath towels were generous. The front desk was manned 24 hours and they provided a wealth of information about London and the services […] available in the Earl's Court area. The neighborhood was busy, "hip", safe and it provided a full range of restaurants from pubs, fast-food, to grocery stores and pharmacies. The Earl's Court underground is a 5 minute walk. Someone booking this hotel should know that there are NO lifts and you should expect a lot of stairs. Our room was down two "long" flights of stairs and deep into the basement. You should also know that they will not allow early check-in but will allow you to store your luggage. (This can be a struggle after a long international flight.) CON: The room is dark and a bit warm. Although we traveled in March we still struggled with the a/c and had to sleep with the patio door open to get some fresh air. (There were two other apartments that shared the patio.) There are very few power outlets and power strips are needed and Americans need converters or dual appliances. Without hesitation we would stay at this hotel again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good place to stay in Kensington"
Front desk hospitality was hit and miss. The young lady that checked is in was fabulous and friendly throughout our stay. Other personnel were not nearly as friendly or helpful. As commented by many people on line, the sofa bed is a joke in it's construction and comfort. You either have to leave it out all day, taking up valuable space or collapse it […] and have the bedding and mattress piled up in a corner of the room. Everything else about the room was excellent. Lastly, we were in a room located at the front of the hotel. Directly across the street is a youth hostel. It can be rather loud at night as the hostel residents smoke and congregate in front of the building. We also had a group of over 100 French youth check in for a couple of nights to the hostel, so that added to the late night noise level. All in all, though it was a very pleasant facility and a great location in Earl's Court. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Serviced apartment in London at a decent rate"
Very nice and complete studio apartment in Kensington. Half a block to the Earls' Court underground and on the Picadilly line straight to the airport. Apartment very nicely furnished and serviced daily. Complete kitchenette with dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer unit. Complete dishes, cutlery and pots/pans enabled us to eat in a few nights.Genuine Expedia guest review
The Presidential Apartments was perfect for our needs! It was cute, functional and very clean. Best of all it was in a great location!!! Without a doubt, I would stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.Genuine Expedia guest review

"right near the easiest tube station"
I travel a lot and have never had a better time at a hotel in years. Staff was really nice and the rooms had everything - even a washer dryer. "Presidental Apartments Kensington"
The hotel is very convenient to the Underground Station at Earl's Court. There are pubs nearby and a wonderful Chinese restaurant around the corner. Since there is a refrigerator/stove with oven/ and microwave in the room walking to the end of the block to the M&S Simply Foods to pick up a quick meal is a great option after an exhausting day exploring […] London. Just beware of the tub/shower - the step out is very high and the tub has no non-slip mat. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, nice apartment"
The Presidential Apartments are perfectly situated for a first timers trip to London. The Apartments are just a short walk from the Earl's Court Underground station. The location made it so easy to get around London. It was easy to get to and from Heathrow Airport. The bus also has a stop right at the end of the street. There is a grocery, several pubs, […] an amazing Hamburger restaurant and a Boots drugstore all within a block of the hotel. What can I say, location, location, location. The apartment ended up being perfect for my family. We had thought it would be too small with just one bedroom and bath, since it was myself, my husband and a teenage son and daughter. It ended up working out just fine. The bedroom was a very nice size and had lots of closet/storage space. The living room had a fold out chair and a fold out sofa that were very comfortable for the kids. They actually like it! The kitchen had everything we needed. We did not cook any meals in the room but ate breakfast in the morning. They have an electric kettle for making instant (ugh!) coffee and tea which they are kind enough to replenish every day along with some cookies. They even had a small washer/dryer. The washer is a little confusing but just ask for help and they will come up and show you how it works. The staff at the Presidential were always friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. They could not be more accommodating! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous. The apartment was comfortable and every bit as nice as the pictures on the website show. "Roomy, home like convenience"
We stayed at Presidential Apartments in Kensington for 8 nights and highly recommend it! The ONLY complaint is the "pull out sofa". The bed was very uncomfortable (I see that many other travelers also mentioned this). We had a Deluxe Studio, which was perfect. "Great hotel for everybody"
After researching and researching where to stay in London I decided on a DeLuxe studio apartment at the Presidential because it had free wi-fi, it was located near a tube station, and the price offered at Expedia was reasonable. My great experience with them started before my arrival. I e-mailed them thru Facebook months before my trip and Danny from […] Presidential answered each one of my many questions and was extremely helpful. At arrival since check in is not until 2PM, we left our suitcases at the hotel and went to the supermarket for groceries. The hotel is walking distance to Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury’s, both on Earl’s Court st which is a busy street with pubs, restaurants, shops, banks, and its own tube station. The Tube station serves District (Buckingham Palace, etc) and Piccadilly Lines (to Picadilly Circus-Trafalgar square) both will take you to the most touristic places in no time. The service at the hotel is excellent, the room was cleaned every day, beds made, and they even made our dishes. The room has a well equipped kitchenette with pots, towels, plates, dishes, etc. microwave, fridge, normal oven. The front desk is very helpful; they arranged transportation, printed tickets for some attractions, and even my boarding passes on the last day. This one is a keeper as one of the best stays we have had. We highly recommend it. We will use it again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Cute Hotel in Kensington"
The hotel is in a very central location in Kensington, just a few blocks away from the tube. We took the tube from the airport to the hotel. Due to the holidays and the time of my flight from London to Rome we had to take a taxi. Concierge at the hotel arrange a taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport. The room was very clean, the bathroom however […] had a damp smell, but I think is because of the way the showers in Europe are installed. The beds were very confortable, the sofa bed was a bit hard. I was the one that decided to stay on the sofa bed, had a back ache the entire time we stayed there. The kitchen was very cute, there are no plates, glasses and utensils. There is a lot of stuff for cooking but not for eating. What I really like was that it had a washer and drier in the room. The first two days in London it rain, it was nice to come to the hotel and dry up the close in the drier. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Good place, centrally located, nice staff. Only problem is the extremely slow internet speedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was very modern and seemed relatively new. Overall very nice, good location, a block and a half from earls court tube and a direct line from Heathrow. There was not a large amount of space to put things like toiletries in the bathroom due to the modern design. Also, while the closets were sufficient, not a lot of available drawers to place […] clothing. The one true complaint I have is with the Wireless Internet, it was weak and did not consistently work (this was true in 2 rooms). Also, there was no cell phone coverage, not the fault of the hotel. We had 3 travelers and primarily used the room as a base camp. For 3 the studio was a little cramped. If the third person is a small child this would not have been a big deal. "Very convenient for early-morning Heathrow express"
We came back to London for 1 night before flying out of Heathrow the following morning. We loved the added space of an apartment and all of the modern features such as bathroom, kitchen, wi-fi, and washing machine! The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was that after riding the elevator down to basement level, we had to walk down another flight […] of stairs w/heavy luggage. The room was so clean/comfortable, though, that we could overlook the inconvenience!! I guess, for the cost, I expected better but since this is London, I have nothing to compare it to. Compared to the US, the 'apartment' was very small. This was a great place to stay. The studio with pull out couch (a comfortable one, not the kind with a bar in the middle) was spacious for our 3 adult-sized travelers. Had a wonderful experience ar Kensington Apts. The staff was most helpful and always courteous. Our room was just right and we liked the contemporary feel and easy comfort. Just around the corner from Earls Court tube station, it was convenient to get everywhere we wanted to go. A small grocery is also on the corner for stocking up on snacks, fruit […] and drinks. Room was always cleaned and ready every day (we stayed 5 days). Slept wonderfully and had plenty of hot water for showers for the 3 of us. I even looked forward to returning to the room at the end of a long sight-seeing day. As an improvement, the hall carpeting could use replacing, as it's dingy and stained. An extra roll of toilet paper and tissues provided for the room would also be nice, but we just bought a box at the grocery for our stay. Overall, this suited our needs perfectly and we would def stay here again. :) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The location was fantastic - it is so close to the Earl's Court Underground station. The amenities were nice: the bathroom was cramped but clean with a very nice shower/tub; the kitchen was very small, but perfect for casual travel and well stocked; the pull-out bed in the living room area (if you have a 3rd person staying with you) was mediocre - the […] pillow top and pillows were very nice, but the bed itself was a bit uncomfortable. "Earl's Court hotel"
The hotel staff and neighborhood were excellent. The room itself featured a well-equipped kitchen. "Last year's 5 star hotel is this year's 1-star"
Loved it last year. This year, I was in the basement, and nothing worked: toilet backed up; toilet roll falls off the wall; confusing thermostat had no instructions; paperthin pillows; staff failed to do wakeup call, phone broke - and, above all, alarm in their boiler room woke up the whole floor 2 days in a row, and when I went to the desk after that […] to see if they would leave a note to the morning staff to ensure it wouldn't happen again, he kept insisting that it wasn't necessary since if it were still broken, he'd have heard about it. Staff were nice but clueless; they have some good perks/procedures (fruit in the room, help booking return transpo, etc.) but too many things all went wrong in one stay there this time. "Convenient location in London"
Presidential Apartments is a hotel with suite-style rooms close to Earl's Court underground stop in London. The location is really great, you can go there from Heathrow taking the Piccadily line and not having to change once. Other locations are equally close using the underground. We stayed at an Executive Studio with 3 adults. The room is quite big, […] with a small kitchen and all required facilities. It has a large flat TV and in-room wireless Internet. The only problem was the sofa bed, which is a bit small and uncomfortable for an adult but would be good of a child. There is no restaurant (apart from breakfast facilities) but there are plenty of alternatives in the main street within 2 minutes walk and you can also order delivery through reception. Clearly a good alternative for a London stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Amazing comfort for unbeatable price"
In great neighborhood with grocery store on the corner. Many good resteraunts with Nandos being a favorite. The room was huge compared to the standard European hotel. It far exceeded our expectations. Good sized bathroom with heated towel rack, floors and mirror. Everything you would need was provided in room. Besides the kitchenette it had your very […] own washer, toaster, utensils and anything you would need to cook a small meal. The electric kettle was very nice with assorted tea, hot chocolate, and coffee. They even had a small fruit basket and cookies. We found the bed comfortable and there was a really nice amount of storage space for your clothes and a closet. The only negative thing I can say is the fact that the walls are so thin, but staying in other hotels around Europe that seems to be something they all have in common. It was usually quiet except in the morning with maids did their rounds. Our room was situated right next to their station and we constantly heard them coming in and out the door slamming frequently. This could get annoying the day we wanted to sleep in but we were always out and about so wasn't an issue. Besides that can't beat it. The free wifi and 2 min walk to train station was so convienient for sight seeing. My friends were staying at another hotel two streets up an it was so depressing!!! It was the exact same size as the standard room on a cruise ship. They asked me about our room and they were sick to find out I paid only $30 more a night than them for substantially much more room and comfort they would gladly have paid the difference. "Not worth the money"
The hotel was cleana nd the neighborhood was great, however, the room was waaay too small for 2 adults and 2 kids. The sofa bed that was supposed to be for the kids was only big enough for one person and it was in terrible condition. Lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was ridiculously small. The hallways were filled with dirty linens and cleaning […] supplies each and every time we entered or left the unit (I have photographs). We asked the front desk to rectify the situation as it was a fire hazard but nothing was done during the entire 5 days we were there. We tried to change to another hotel and found that we could have stayed at the Intercontinental (across from Buckingham Palace and 5 stars) or The Langham (off Oxford Street and another luxury property) for the same price. Both are well above the Presidential in appearance, location and value. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Hotel itself was a very pleasant surprise, especially by London standards. Room(we had a standard studio) was completely renovated. Nice bathroom, tiny but very complete kitchen (refrigerator, oven, cooktop, microwave, even a dishwasher, plus a washer/dryer). Maid service every day except Sundays. Comfortable bed, nice pillows. Room could have been […] a little bigger, but otherwise perfect. Service very good. English washer/dryers are not good, but it's not the hotel's fault.
