"2 day holiday turned into a 4 day holiday!"
We loved the villas! It was a 4 or 5 miles from the city center, which we thought was a plus. Right on the water, you could walk across the street and swim. We had a great room with a view of the sea. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Big rain storm 1 evening and they came and checked on us to make sure we were ok. "VIP Lounge Resort - Mikri Mantineia, near Kalamata"
Kalamata is not a big, but crowded town. However, Mikri Mantineia is relaxing, nobody seems to be in a hurry. VIP Lounge Resort is a nice place. It is like a small village plenty of flowers and places to seat, the nieghborhood is two-stories apartments. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. At your arrival, they offer you a bottle of local wine. […] They care for every little detail. The breakfast is delicious, plenty of Greek specialities. You can order lunch or dinner and the restaurant across the road serves it at your apartment. The place is ideal for having a rest, they even ask you not to be noisy during nap time, from 3pm to 6pm! πολυ καλο ξενοδοχειο,ομορφη θεα,ευρυχωρη βεραντα με θεα θαλασσα,πολυ κοντα στην παραλια,10 λεπτα με το αυτοκινητο απο την πολη της καλαματας.μεγαλα δωματια,πολυ καθαροι χωροι,εξυπηρετικοτατο προσωπικο. θα μπορουσε να εχει ενα καλυτερο πρωινο για ξενοδοχειο 4 αστερων.το προτεινω ανεπιφυλακτα.

You will never find a better hotel in this area. Perfect for lazy silent days at the sea. Walking distance to sea, minimarked, farmacia and restaurants. Just a 10 minutes taxi ride to Kalamata center.
