  The location is great easy access to any point in the city. Brakfast is good and a lot of selection. Tea was hot sometimes and not at other times. One thing that irked me was that I was not able to meet with friends in my room even during the day. The bell man services were good during the day not at night. When we arrived at 2 am I had to go gt my own bags from the lobby and was not even shown the room.internet services are great and free.

  We stayed in this hotel for 11 days in Februray 2012. We were very pleased with the comfort and the cleanliness of the room. The restaurant food was also very good. The breakfast was complimentary wih our stay and the dinner buffet was reasonbly priced at around $10. The food selections were quite extensive both in the morning and evening. We used the gym regularly and the attending staff there were very helpful. We did not use the swimming pool. The hotel location was also close to the beach (2 km away) and the shopping areas on Anna Salai (Old name Mount Road), Mylapore and T. Nagar. The hotel location is incorrectly shown on the map in the Hotels.com page. Use the Google map and type in the address to see the correct location. There were two inconveniences when we checked in: lack of hot water and Wi-Fi. These were quickly fixed once we notified the front desk. This is primarily a business hotel and hosts a number of conferences and seminars. The meeting rooms are on the 7th floor, and the staff has to work late at night to re-arrange the furniture in the conference rooms. The one major complaint is the noise of furniture being dragged around on the 7th floor late at night. We stayed on the 6th floor and at times the nosie kept us awake. My recommendation is to stay on the lower floors! I would gladly recommend this hotel. You get good quality and service for the price. One last convenience this hotel offers. This hotel uses a 24-hour clock for check in and out. That is very useful for travellers whose flights land or take-off at odd hours of the day and night. For example, we checked in at 2 am on arrival and checked out at 1 am on the day of departure. If it had been a noon check out, we would have had to pay for an extra day of stay on the day of our departure!
