The staff are extremely helpful. The hotel is very homely and clean, and the restaurant's food is fantastic. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I will stay here again should I pass through Kolkata again!

Room was comfortable with cable TV and minibar. I loved the window sitting area and ambient lights in the room! There was a little bit of mold on the bathmat in the shower. The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor seating area. However, the food for the breakfast buffet wasn't very tasty. I had laundry done and a couple items were still a bit dirty. I asked for toilet paper and didn't receive it. When I asked again the next morning, the woman who brought it expected a tip, explaining she had a long commute to come to work and how difficult it was.

Hotel Chrome was great. The hotel provided great service and accommodated all of my needs. Internet was relatively fast and they did a great job helping me get to the airport without forcing me to take the hotel car which was otherwise expensive. I was easily able to walk Downtown and to the Victoria memorial but it was a bit of a hike.

the only utility of this hotel is its proximity to the consulates, and that is no advantage as there are many cheaper and better hotels in the vicinity. This property has a shady entrance, dirty bathrooms. It is far overpriced and one might as well pick a much cheaper hotel if (s)he can tolerate these standards.

El hotel está muy bien situado si vas de voluntario con Las Misioneras de la Caridad. El hotel es caro, para los servicios que te ofrecen, eso si el personal es muy amable y agradable, pero la limpieza brilla por su ausencia. De todas maneras en Calcuta la limpieza es escasa por lo menos la zona por donde nos movemos los voluntarios.

We were two swedish girls on a backpackin-tour and we found hotel cirkular. Well, it's actually a nice hotel, with good beds (if you compare to our usual standard) and the staff were on the first meeting very nice and we felt very comfortable! Well, don't ever, EVER trust somebody you don't know, Leslie one of the staff tricked us on money and we actually […] found out that somebody had stolen underwear from us... Well, it's Calcutta and it is budget, you get what you get and after all Cirkular was kind off nice, but we had some very bad experiences with the staff and became sick in the stomach from the food (but hey - that you'll get from everywhere in India).
