The house is very pretty, although a bit old; needs some touch-ups. Unfortunately, we were on the ground floor, so we could hear people walking upstairs. Erin, the manager, was very helpful, giving us tips about restaurants and things to do. We didn't get to eat breakfast the first morning because we had early plans and breakfast is served at 9am sharp […] without any accommodation. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Stop Over"
Sketchy but friendly training by trainee Manager. Nice room with balcony and fireplace log ready to go. Wine and appetizers at 5pm enabled us to meet other guests. Breakfast was as close to a continental breakfast as you can get per the Manager, but the freshly made compote saved the standard continental breakfast faire.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great inn in good location and great inn keeper"
We had very good experience with Oleander house even after we came back home. Unlike other inn we stayed last year in Yountville Oleander house is well maintained and clean. Room was cleaned and towels replaced every every day. Room had LCD TV with a huge screen (never seen screen as big in any other hotel) and as a bonus Direct TV with premium channels. […] It had a balcony with a glass table and chairs where we enjoyed our late meals with a nice bottle of wine watching sunset and relaxing. Balcony was in the back surrounded with tall trees so no road or any other noise, very private feel. Inn is located in a couple of minutes of walk to two wineries and "Mustard Grill" which is one of the best restaurant I ever visited (make reservation - otherwise wait time is one hour). After we returned back home we discovered that we left some clothes in the room but owner sent them to us next day. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Warm & Friendly"
Staying hear was as comfortable as staying with dear friends. Before we even arrived Vic, the Inn Keeper, was looking for reservations for us for Dinner. When we got their the room was beautiful and the bed was amazing. Vic sent us to the Goose & Gander for dinner, one word AMAZING and during the wine and cheese hour we spent time getting to know him […] and about the house and it just felt like family. My wife and I were in Napa for a charity fundraiser for veterans and made a trip out of it, boy were we glad we stayed here. Great place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice b&b. Only advice would be to add blackout blinds on the rooms facing the road as you can hear cars all night and lights shine in from all the lighting they have in the front yard.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfortable B&B with great breakfast"
My husband and I spent five nights at the Oleander B&B in November 2013. We felt very comfortable from the start after meeting Kathleen, our hostess. Our room was on the second floor at the front of the house and very comfortable. We did not have any problems with noise from the street and slept well each evening. Kathleen prepared a delicious breakfast […] every morning and spent time with her guests sharing stories and information about Napa and the surrounding areas. Kathleen also was helpful in recommending places to eat and suggestions for sight seeing within driving distance from Napa. We also enjoyed being greeted each morning by Max (the poodle) her loyal companion. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Inn keeper was marvelous. Room in the back was quiet. Next door to Mustard's. Breakfast was delicious; served family style with all of the guests sitting at a large dining table; a great opportunity to meet new people and exchange information.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would love to have stayed longer!"
A perfect place for an anniversary getaway. With a winery on either side that you can walk to, a wonderful (busy!) restaurant within walking distance, and a fantastic outdoor hot tub, we would have loved to stayed more than one night. And the hostess, Kathleen, was wonderful. Made us feel right at home and the food was delectable. The house was easy […] to find and right in Napa Valley. "Great base for a wine tasting weekend"
Location great for a Napa Valley wine tasting weekend. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The full breakfast is delicious and the family style serving at 9 am promotes meeting new and interesting people. Ask the owner about the nearby running walking path on nearby rural road along the river. The rooms in front of inn can be affected by noise […] from highway but earplugs are provided next to bed. Very nice owner who prepares a great breakfast, an excellant location and a comfortable room. The only item in immediate need of some attention is that it needs a little facelift. Otherwise an excellant stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Easy walk to Mustards"
Make your reservations to Mustards Grill at the same time. It will be a night to remember. Romantic dinner for two or a group of 10. There are a total of 5 rooms at this B&B. You can take the whole place over with 4 other couples. Kathleen the innkeeper is the best. She make you feel right at home.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Our stay at the Oleander B & B was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our innkeeper, Kathleen, was delightful! Her breakfasts were delicious and she was a fountain of knowledge on the Nappa area. The TV area was a wonderful spot for our family to gather each morning and evening. "Oleander House - in the heart of Napa"
We just came back from a wonderful stay at Oleander House. Kathleen, our host, made us feel welcome and at home. Her cooking is fantastic. We were treated to a gourmet breakfast every day. It was lovely to sit with all the guests and our host and discuss the local wineries and restaurants. I highly recommend the sunset rooms, beautiful down to the scented […] sheets. "Comfortable Friendly Place, Great Breakfast!!"
08/21/14 Michele P Springfield, Virginia
On recommendation of my brother and sister in law I stayed here this past weekend with my husband, my daughter and her fiance. We were in town to celebrate my brother and his wife's 25th wedding anniversary down the road at Inglenook Winery and we stayed two nights, Friday and Saturday We received a warm and gracious welcome from Lena and Vick and were shown around the house. My daughter and her fiance had room 1 on the ground floor. They enjoyed the patio outside their door and easy access to the hot tub. While ear plugs were provided against road noise, neither of them used them nor did they complain of any undue traffic sounds. This was their first time at a B&B and they were quite charmed. My husband and I were upstairs, facing the back in room 2. I found the room a tad chilly, but my husband absolutely loved it. We were told this was the coolest room in the inn, so if you are like my husband, it's the room for you. There was a fireplace that we were invited to use, but we did not. The room was nicely decorated without many of the typical B&B nicknacks. There was plenty of room for us to place our belongings. The ceilings were high and the room quite spacious. We had a private little deck and enjoyed taking our coffee (self serve teas, coffee, water and sodas are available 24/7) out there when we awoke a bit early for breakfast. We heard several varieties of birds, including a rooster (which sounded enough to be funny, but not so much as to be annoying) At 9 am we joined the the rest of the guests -- a full house -- around the long table for french toast with fruit compote and syrup and thick country bacon, as well as fruit salad, OJ and coffee and fine conversation. At 5 pm each afternoon guests can gather at the landing upstairs for light appetizers and wine (same location as the 24/7 coffee area). That was a nice touch. In the same area a lap top is available for anyone to use and there is free wifi throughout the inn. Each room has a flat screen TV wall mounted. On Saturday night the four of us emerged from our rooms in our formal attire for our party and Lena offered to take photos of us in the inn's lovely gardens. I could not recommend this B&B more highly. We would definitely like to return if we can!!
"Excellent Location in Napa"
08/03/14 Thomas G Jacksonville, Florida, United States
We spent 2 pleasant days here. Very friendly staff, extremely comfortable bed and nice amenities. Book room which overlooks back as they have nice balcony and less noise. Right on route 29 so traffic can be herd but not much t night. Good breakfast and plenty of French press coffee available before 9 AM when it is served. Excellent location only 2 minutes from downtown Yountville and all of its dining opportunities. Easy access to route 29 and Silverado trail so it is. Good spot to base explorations of wineries from. We really enjoyed the stay here

We had a wonderful time at the Oleander House! Our only regret was that our flight left too early and we didn't get to enjoy breakfast on our 2nd day! Breakfast was amazing, the room was gorgeous, we had a fantastic stay!!! Located perfectly for wine tastings and exploring Napa Valley!
"First Visit to Napa, Oleander House made it great"
07/21/14 Jorge G College Station, Texas
Was in Yountville for a friend’s destination wedding. After a long and dreadful drive from San Francisco airport, and a late check-in; what a welcome site. Arrived late so host could not meet me, but he left an envelope with everything I needed to feel welcome. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the back yard; great place to have a cup of coffee in the morning. My room, Unit 3 was so comfortable; lots of room, chocolates (mints) in the evening and right across from the morning coffee. Host prepared individual French presses with a pot of hot water each morning right by our rooms. Nice touch! Breakfasts were spectacular; home-made breads, home-made frittatas, fruit other goodies to enjoy. Other guests made the stay wonderful. Oleander House was near all the great wineries, restaurants, and so convenient right on 29. I had to spend an extra night, and instead of driving back to San Francisco to find a hotel; the host offered a nice deal to spend the extra night at the B&B. What else can I say, it is a great place, ideally located and great price!!!
"Turn Charity Bike Ride Into Weekend Getaway"

The staff at the Olenader House was fantastic and the room we had was great. We were in Napa for a charity bike ride and turned it into a romantic weekend. Great suggestion for the Goose & Gander for diner the first night we were there. Breakfast was wonderful and the company of the other guests was great. We will go again for sure.

My boyfriend treated me to a wonderful stay at Oleander House. My first trip to Napa Valley did not disappoint. The town of Yountville is great and Oleander House was an easy to access, excellent location for exploring Napa and close to vineyards, wineries and restaurants. Very neat and clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated, we were thoroughly impressed ! Breakfasts were delicious, host was most helpful and rooms were beautiful, private, spacious, super comfortable and well equipped. We felt welcome and spoilt and will not hesitate to stay here again !
The room was large and clean. We even had a private patio which was great for reading in the morning. Vic, the manager was very helpful and even prepared a gluten free breakfast for my wife. The highlight was the breakfast. The food was good and the conversation with other guests was fabulous. Seating everyone at one table made everyone comfortable talking. It has been a long time since we have had this level of interaction with other guests at a B&B. The daily wine/cheese reception was a little weak. There was only red wine (a nice wine) and that worked for me but my wife gets headaches from red wine so we had to break open one of our purchases of the day.
"Comfortable and well located!"

My friend was visiting from Australia and we took an overnight to enjoy the landscape and wine taste. What a perfect excursion and overnight at the Oleander, right on hwy 29, close to amazing Yountville restaurants. Easy touring to some unbelievable vineyards; just a short drive away. The breakfast was excellent and deliciously homemade! Vic was friendly and accommodating

Perfect for a one-night stopover. You can hear the road from the rooms, even in the upstairs ones in the back of the house, so don't expect the silence of the countryside. Regardless, we slept well and enjoyed the breakfast. The owner was helpful with travel tips.
"Such an experience !!!"

I proposed in this beautiful B&B just couple days ago. It was such an experience. Breakfast to staff everything was perfect. Vic and Erin will definitely take good care of you.. Garden was fantastic and of course happy hour with wine. We will definitely come back and stay here one more time. Great location, gorgeous place to stay !!! Ask about wineries to Vic and Erin; they have pretty good database of where to stop eat and taste ...
