I enjoyed staying here. The hotel offers a full (not just continental) breakfast in the morning, which was a nice way to start my day. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the overall appearance was nice. The view of the mountains behind the hotel was very nice as well. I'd stay here again.

What a great property. Large room - comfy bed - great pillows - everything worked - and the "continental" breakfast was a pretty full spread, including fresh pancakes! What a pleasant surprise. Also, very good access to Schweitzer Ski Area if that's why you're staying here. I'm definitely coming back.

The whole place was spotless, new and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good with lots of options. Sweet Lou's restaurant across the parking lot was excellent. No reason to drive anywhere. A great place to stay and ski.

We skied during the day and spent New Year's Eve here. There isn't a TON to do in Sandpoint, unless you are on Schweitzer Mtn. or downtown. Cabs are hard to come by, so be ware. My only "complaint" here is that our bed linens smelled of sweaty feet. It was an overwhelming smell upon entering the room. They changed things and it got somewhat better. Also, the pillows were marked 'soft' and 'firm', but there was no difference (they were painfully soft).

I loved the stay however, we were put in a room with a fabulous view of the back mountians. We didn't feel comfortable taking a Handicap room in the event a Disabled persons were to arrive and need one. So they switched us to the construction side of the hotel which made me feel like I wasn't on vacation in the mountains. Knowones fault really but a […] bit disappointing. Read more

Really really nice little hotel to finish our trip. We have come from Seattle and Portland and just needed somewhere to stay on the Route back to Canada. The warm breakfast in the morning was exactly what we needed and tasted great for a free meal.

Holiday Inn express rarely lets me down. Sandpoint was no exception. Very well kept (and newer) hotel with high quality staff and rooms that are super comfy. Breakfast is quite good for a family compared to many other breakfast "buffets" offered by competitors. You won't go wrong staying here.

What a wonderful place to stay , for an overnite trip. Pretty view on the lanai, while having breakfast. And might I say, some of the best coffee you will get anywhere. Very relaxing

The hotel itself was not bad but the overall it was not the most pleasant stay. The mattress on the bed was covered in some kind of plastic sheet that was annoying and reduced comfort dramatically. The breakfast buffet was less than ideal...some of the "hot" items were luke warm and seemed to be dry.

great hotel for a family stay. location very close to Schweitzer cut off road-perfect for a family ski trip. Included breakfast in the morning. rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. Hot tub and pool (hot tub could have been a bit warmer). Lou's restaurant next door-great food and very convenient after a hard day of skiing.

Holiday Inn Express was a very nice experience! They hooked us up with discount tickets to Schweitzer Mountain as well as fixed a problem we had in our room just minutes after we asked about it! Their breakfast was delicious and overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return!

Wonderful hotel located close to Schweitzer ski resort. Very clean, nice pool and breakfast. Recommend Slate's bar and grill as well,which is right out the front door. Perfect for when you are tired and hungry after a day of skiing! Will definitely stay there again!

We had a dog barking on one side and children crying on the other. Understand is was a busy weekend but the room seem to allow sound right thru. Staff very friendly and rooms clean! Plastic on beds cracker during night but appreciate reason for cleanliness.
