We stayed for one night to run the Hyannis Marathon. The hotel is basic, clean and inexpensive. Perfect for a one night stop over. The staff were lovely, super helpful and friendly, both when I had to call ahead with questions and during our stay. It was a bit tricky to control the heat. If we turned the heat on it got very hot very quickly and then we had to turn it off and let it get cool again before starting the process again :-) Overall, good value and we would stay again. Thank you so very much to the desk staff who allowed us to check out a little late because we were freezing cold and soaked through after the marathon - very much appreciated :-)

We all loved the outdoor heated pool!! Didn't even realize they had one until we got there. Very clean rooms and everything you need right at the Hotel. The kids loved the arcade and live animal show they had on Saturday night. Hotel was convienent to stay in for the Hyannis Half Marathon!

Enjoyed my stay. It was a good price for a decent room. Breakfast would have been nice, but plenty of options nearby to walk to.

"We will be back!"
The proprietors have done an excellent job renovating the Captains Inn while keeping the old charm. However modern conveniences are paid attention to but done in a way that does not interfer with the old charm. Proprietors were very friendly and fun. Breakfasts were excellent! We stayed at this Inn for 2 nights in June 2010 and would agree with all the other good reviews others have posted. A lovely, characterful Inn, clean and smart with lots of attention to detail. Great Innkeepers, very friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent breakfast, especially the blueberry pancakes. Wunderschönes B & B ausserhalb der Saison (es liegt direkt an der Strasse, die in Hochsaison extrem befahren sein soll). Super freundlicher Manager, der einen das ganze Haus zeigte. "Absolute Empfehlung"
Wenn man auf Colonial-Style steht, ist dieses Haus ein absolutes Muss! Das Haus stammt aus dem Jahr 1802 und ist wirklich sehr nett eingerichtet.
