The overlooking view of Kamploops made the stay at this hotel beautiful. Finding the hotel itself was tricky, as it is located on a university campus. Our GPS directed us to the athletic center. But the staff was very friendly helping us find our way when we called. The breakfast is a basic breakfast of toast and cereal.

Unexpected to sleep in a dorm like in the old college days - nice to have our own bedrooms. Beds were quite hard, nothing special about those. Staff was friendly and whole experience was hassle-free. Desk put a $250 routine hold on our debit account in addition to the room which has been on there three days now - this is a bit annoying and not done […] by some other hotels. Would advise customers that they will have funds of $250 unavailable to them for up to 6 days due to Bureaucracy, otherwise a nice place. Read more

It was a mistake to stay there. For the same money I would have got a regular hotel room than stay in this dorm. No where while booking the room it said that you are getting a Dorm room rented to you. The only good thing was the complimentary breakfast which was okay.

I traveled with 5 adults and a dog total, and the 4 bedroom unit was a perfect find. The residence is located on the university campus, and is essentially a nicer version of a college dorm, so while it doesn't have any of the luxury amenities, it is fully functional. We were very surprised to find out we had booked a 2 room suite in a college dormitory. Two double beds each in separate rooms, fronted by a kitchen area & bathroom. It had a nice view though! Sleeping was difficult for my husband & I since we are usedd to a bigger bed.

Set up like dorms: bedrooms open up to shared kitchenette and bath. Great for families or groups traveling together but wanting some privacy. Much cheaper than multiple rooms. Patio area out back of hotel has amazing view ot river gorge.

Unusual, but nice place to stay. It reminded the campus life of my college days a long time ago. It felt strange at first, though. The multi-room suits are really luxurious student dorms with decent double-sized beds. They are ideal for a family with kids or a group of travelers. Dont bother looking for another place to stay at Kamloops. This was perfect. Even more so for our family of 5 adults and 3 kids. The place was clean and comfortable, and they give you a decent continental breakfast to get started on your next day's drive. I am glad I chose this place.

This is a large new building also used as a student residence. It's location requires some navigating from the highway. We were surprised to find ourselves in a handicap unit which featured only a double bed and limited furniture but lots of room. The shower could accommodate a basketball team. The views of hills and river were mesmerizing! Very affordable rates! Staff was friendly and helpfull. The only issue was that the furnace filter had not been changed and the furnace made noise all night as it was working too hard, kept my parents awake all night and they were afraid there would be a fire, if not in our room, maybe in another room with […] a dirty filter! This is a very nice University Residence for students. The building is nice, the view is spectacular. The rooms are very basic with no common lounging area. For a good sleep in a quiet area the room is fine, especially for the price.

Breakfst was pretty good eggs, bagels, juice, cereal and peanut butter and jam/honey 2. As for the afternoon on the weekend, I had to take my son to the front door due to the bar style atmosphere on the porch(open alcohol). Rooms are nice for a family or wanting a separate room. Cheap and affordable. Probably wouldn't go back.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite witha kitchenette. The rooms and bathroom were clean, no carpet. There was a distinct smell when you first enter the room but after opening the windows it was gone. Beds and pillows were not very comfy fine for a one night stay

This DORM room was okay for price, however we have a baby and there were parking lot parties right outside our window and on the back patio. The rooms carried an echo so we could clearly hear everything from down the hall. When i called the front desk they didn't answer the first 4 times, and told me he went out and told the party to pack it in, but […] they didn't. The beds were small and hard. The staff, from the front desk clerks to the housekeepers, were not nice, more annoyed then accommodating. Parking was free, it was good for price, would have been perfect if i was a young partier, but i'm not and I would not stay here again and the next time i use Hotels.com i'll be doing more homework on the hotels that are recommended. I find this hotel very good to stay at because of the reasonable rates, convenient location and services they provide (continental breakfast at 6am!). I also like the fact that there is a full kitchen at my disposal if I also choose to cook while we stay.

We found this hotel on Expedia the pictures were not like what we walked into at this place. As a mother of a 11 month old. There was only a stand up shower in all rooms. I had to bath my son in the kitchen sink. Which was very unsafe with the tap and all. He's into everything. I wish they would of mentioned no bathtubs on website. The beds were hard […] as a rock.There was no resturant on site. This hotel is a dorm for students it looks like. It should not say hotel it should state Dorm rooms for students. Hotel is definitely a dorm during the school year, but the suite rooms are private, quiet, clean, great view, wi-fi worked well. Overall we were pleased with the hotel, however a few things would need to be addressed for us to consider staying there again. The beds to begin with; we made our reservation for 3 adults and one child, we assumed a 2 bedroom suite would be sufficient, however, one bed in each room barely qualifies as a double bed so for Mom, Dad and toddler, not very […] comfortable. The bathroom situation was a little tough as well, toddlers don't really "do" showers and as there was no bath, it was not very convenient for the little one, plus the "shower curtain" was little more than a tiny cloth that didn't even cover the space that opened into the rest of the washroom causing water to spill all over. The last small comment is about the "fitness room" on the 10th floor needs to be updated, and free weights need to be added. On the positive side the kitchenette was brilliant, the views were unmatched and the complimentary continental breakfast was greatly appreciated. Read more
