The hotel staff were excellent. The hotel room was not as pictured on the web. Our room was very tired looking. The bathroom was small. The low hanging light in the main room was a hazard. The door did fit snuggly and you could see people walking in the hall.

We were on the top floor so it was very quiet. The room was comfortable and clean. Our stay was during a heat wave and the room A/C was icy cold. Location was great and I'd stay there again.

The hotel room was very dark & closed in, my first thought was oh god, I have to spend 8 days in here. The next morning I was taking a shower and the smoke alarm went off which totally scared me to death, I thought their was a fire. We chose to stay here because Granby is 30 minutes from central Montreal and only a 2 or 3 hour drive to Quebec City. It is a pleasant town with all the shops and services a traveler might need. This is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in during my 25 years of travel. (Including North America & Europe) To be honest it was a dump and the check in staff was rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Most reviews are correct: - good staff - comfortable room with clean sheets, but old furnitures - small bathroom - very close from restaurants and stores - exterior pool seemed fun (lot of people in it) but didnt have time to test it ourself - free parking - breakfast was similar to other 3 stars hotel we went in the past - elevator is slow, open on […] both side and slow because it s actually for wheelchair, not an actual elevator... Hotel, room was great....... Breakfast in the morning was the worst I have ever seen. Not enough, not clean and too simple food items. The so called "buffet" was only a few slices toast, (old) some cereal. Some tried out muffins. Cold coffee and a pot of butter on the table for every one.

Will pay more and stay at the hotel up the street! thankfully the staff in the restaurant were awesome or the ratings would have been more unsatisfactory! We read the negative reviews and thought it can't be that bad, and it wasn't but it was close. It's an older hotel so outdated doesn't necessarily mean bad. Our first impression was that the bathroom was a a little gross. It was cleaned but you can't clean gaps between wall tiles and showers, or between vinyl floors and tubs, and have it be really […] 'clean.' That upped the yuck factor. Also the hot and cold taps in the shower were difficult to control temp without burning yourself once or twice. The bedspreads actually did have multiple cigarette holes... After playing around in the room, my thankfully walking toddlers, sock feet were a filthy black. Oh and there was no deadbolt on the door and our child could have easily slipped out if we weren't watching every second. i had to block the door. On a positive note, our experience with the staff was that they were very friendly, the food wasn't fancy but good, and well, it was pretty conveniently located. The non-smoking floor is on the 3rd level, all the smoke wafts up the stairwells, which the doors are kept propped open. Our room wreaked of smoke. I swear that the cleaning lady smoked in our room because it smelled like fresh smoke when we got back everyday. Floors were not vaccuumed.

When I arrive to the hotel very nice in the lobby but the nightmare begins when the cleck gave me my key and the number of the room. The room was in the basement when I when down the stairs the basement had a bad smell. when I arrive to my room. I ask for 2 queen bed because we were 2 adults and 2 children. It was 1 double bed and a sofa with bed. The […] floor was sticky. We only had 2 towels and 2 face cloth for 4 persons. I had to ask 2 times to have 2 extras. That's in the first 30 minutes. When I try to plug my cell phone charger in the wall my plug falls out of the plug. So I tried every plug all the same. We did not have any drap on the sofa bed . You could see some drips of dirt on the wall. You could hear the person on the upper level taking is shower. We had a table in the room. I think that they try to cut a piece of wood on it because you could see the cut on the table. The worst hotel i've been to.
