Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast each morning, nice quiet room but could use a little more counter space in the triple room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

There is literally not a better bang for your buck in Rome! This little Gem is right smack dab in the middle of everything and there isn't a single sight you can't walk to. The room was very cozy and it had the renovated modern charme feel mixed with the traditional floorplan. It was nice to see some history in the rooms! "Planning our return!"
We enjoyed a quiet, spacious modern room in an historic boutique hotel with welcoming, accommodating, helpful and informative staff. Located on a side street between Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, it is a prime central location for walking to the tourist sites of interest. We especially appreciated the owner giving us a personal tour of Piazza Navona […] and his recommendation for dinner and a "spritz". Thanks! Staff handled the luggage both on arrival and departure. The hotel entrance is above street level with two flights of stairs at entrance. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pleased with almost everything"
Pros: good amount of space great bathroom - modern, clean, good water pressure staff- esp. Michelle, he was very nice & helpful central location Cons: loud construction (don't know how long this will go on) neighborhood not super charming I would likely stay again if the construction was no longer going on outside. Don't know if it was being done […] by the hotel or a neighboring building, but it is Loud. We saw a chute type thing out the window... Sounds like they are pouring buckets of broken glass down it. Once that is over, I would have very little negative to say :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was in a great location. We walked everywhere. The staff wasn't super helpful but the room was clean and in a good location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Absolutely loved the hotel and location - I can't stress location enough. All of the staff that we encountered spoke English (!) and were extremely nice. We would definitely book a room at Hotel Navona again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was an excellent choice for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the hotel was within walking distance to many of the major sights. I would definitely recommend this place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I couldn't be more pleased. The walk from train station took around 8 minutes. The duomo was a block away (probably 1 minute walk). Our room wasn't large, but was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and modern and we had a beautiful view of the dome of San Lorenzo right out our window. "In the heart of the city"
The location is outstanding! Literally 2 blocks from Piazza Navona and Pantheon. 3 blocks from Campo dei Fiori. All major sites are within walking distance. Multiple bus stops within 1 block of the hotel. Quiet secondary street, limited noise was a plus. Room was newly constructed and well appointed. Shower was excellent, room was spacious. Some difficulty […] with Wi-Fi in the room but it worked well in the lobby. All things considered, this hotel is a great value, it's location outweighs the star rating system. "Location is the only good thing of this hotel"
Hotel is located on the first floor of a very old building very close to Piazza Navona. No elevator, you have to bring up your lugagge. Room is very old and small, not very comfortable, but clean. Free Wi-Fi internet is a plus. Did not have breakfast there, can not comment on that. One night a group of youngsters was having fun and making noise all […] night long, they also were making "funny" phone calls to the other rooms. You hear everything that happens in the hallway and in adjacent rooms. You also hear everything outside on the street (people walking, talking, ambulances, police, drunk people.....). Not the best place to rest. But it is located just 2 blocks from Piazza Navona!!! If you are looking for a good place to rest, comfort, big modern rooms and lots of hotel amenities... DO NOT STAY THERE!!!! If the only thing you want is a well located, small, clean and relatively cheap place to spend the night.. consider this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to all major sights"
hotel was a walk up so pack light ! at 7:30 am, the construction workers in the next room started pounded on the walls. at 8 am, the drills started. Management denied this - very defensive. The neighborhood was very loud as well. Not the best night sleep. Also, the fan / light in the bathroom had a screeching sound.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Great location and very friendly staff. Room was very comfortable. Would stay there again and may!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were lucky to get a last minute room here and were welcomed with helpful maps, attention and offers of assistance . Our room was small but clean and charming and the location is the best possible. All of the staff were attentive and helpful. We tried to book two more nights but the hotel was full. The owner put us up in a private apartment which was […] beautiful and well located. The hotel owner met with us and drove us there and his assistant saw to it that we were settled and had emergency numbers. We observed other hotel guests receiving extra special attention and help. Hotel Navona is walking distance from all of the major points of interest. It is right near the Piazza Navona, with its' three Bernini fountains, and we spent time listening to musicians there in the evenings. The hotel is on a charming side street in a lovely old building. "Perfect Place to Stay"
Hotel Navona was perfect for us in every way. The room was great, spacious and sweet (we had the room that's in the first picture - the one with the dark brown leather headboard). It is CRAZY conveniently located - it's seriously right next to everything. To be fair though, Rome is an extremely walkable city, but this was smack in the middle between […] Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. We needed to get to the Vatican, and so we asked the Concierge who was extremely helpful. He gave us a local map, and told us which bus to take and where to find the closest bus stop. Hotel Navona is up one flight of stairs, and it is in a historical building, so it's quite a number of marble steps. This can make lugging your bags a little difficult depending on how heavy your bags are, so keep that in mind. Random Tip: The hotel is also around the corner from a currency exchange with a really good rate. We kept on going back to that specific one during our trip when we needed extra money. Overall - this hotel was a great value I will definitely be returning here on our next trip to Rome. This has become the hotel of my choice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The only thing missing from the room was counter space and table areas. No place to put your stuff except for a very small desk. End tables were tiny. No hooks anywhere to hang anything either. so everything ended up on the floor. "Close to major sights"
We loved this hotel for its world-wide charm w/all the modern conveniences. It was easy to walk to the Pantheon and to Fountain DeTrevi. The only drawback was the lack of parking and getting to find the hotel initially. I would suggest finding a secure parking place outside of the city and taking a taxi to the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My hotel stay at Navona was excellent from the time I arrived there till the time we left. The staff was was very helpful and courteous and location was also very convenient. Defiantly was stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Favorite European hotel so far"
On our vacation, we have stayed at hotels in Paris, Pisa, Venice, Germany and Amsterdam - this was by far our favorite hotel. The staff and especially the owner are wonderful and make you feel like family. The owner gave up his parking spot in front of the hotel for our two night stay so that we did not have to park farther away and pay an insane amount […] of money for parking. He then took us to a well known coffee shop right around the corner (Caffè Sant'Eustachio) and even bought me an espresso before directing us toward the Pantheon. This hotel is in a perfect location as it is literally about equal distance from both the Colosseum and the Vatican - both are within walking distance. Pantheon is literally three streets over. No elevator but we did not find this to be a barrier. The bathroom could use a little updating, but functioned well in every way necessary. Room with modern decor. Very safe area on a side street. Wifi worked well. Overall, very impressed with this family owned hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location and Staff"
Hotel Navona was the 2nd hotel in Piazza Navona that we stayed at during our time in Rome. We only stayed one night before our departure back to the states, but the location was perfect. In Rome everything is really walking distance, but I would definately recommend Piazza Navona due to the activity and night life in close proximity. The hotel staff […] was great, spoke wonderful English and were very helpful. They had a bell man-which we didnt at most of the hotels we stayed in. He greeted us at the door so we never had to carry our luggage (which was a nice change). The room was clean and had a large sitting area, but the bathroom was the smallest we had in Italy. "My stay at Hotel Navona"
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights, located 2 minutes walk to Piazza Navona, 15 minute walk from he Patheon, 30 minute walk to Vatican. This hotel is in the center of all attractions. We stayed here in 1997 and now again in 2012. If we ever make it back to Rome we would stay here againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of all the major attractions Rome has to offer. We were in room 24 which is an inside room with no view. The shower was fine but the toilet was squeezed between 2 walls which made it a bit of a challenge. The room was quiet and the A/C worked very well. The breakfast (cold) was good each morning […] and was included in the room price. The staff was very helpful in t arranging taxis and a limo for the airport. If you are looking for a nice hotel in a good central location then Hotel Navona is excellent. It's not 5* but you get a good size clean room, modern shower room, aircon, wifi and the staff are very helpful. You are a 2 minute walk from Piazza Navona which is equally nice during the day and at night, and an easy place to sit with an ice cream, cocktail […] or delicious meal. "Go Somewhere Else"
The Good: (1) Location, (2) Nice and Helpful Staff, (3) Disposable slippers provided, (4) Shampoo, soap, and hair dryer provided, (4) Safe in room, (5) accessible 24-7. The BAD: (1) VERY NOISY- Didn't fall asleep until 3:00 am due to people laughing and talking outside and then some business closing up (or opening up) nearby made a ton of noise (can't […] be sure when it was as I was half asleep. Windows & shutters made absolutely no difference to the noise. They literally could have been wide open and the noise level would have been the same. (2) Hotel breakfast area is right next to all the rooms, so you are awaken in the wee hours of the morning to the clanking of dishes and silverware. Horrible. I slept 2-3 hours at most. (3) Ceiling wood is rotten. (4) Clean sheets for some reason I felt like I was itching all night. I never saw any bugs, so I'm not sure what caused it. Small bathroom, but it is Europe. (5) Shower head detached and moved all over when the water was on. (6) mold growing on caulking in bathroom, (7) It was hot - It appears they had an AC machine, but it is attached very high towards the ceiling and there's no way to reach it (it appeared to be off). Not sure... I saw a number of temperature readings at the front desk, so perhaps they do monitor each of the room's temperatures. (8) Located on 2nd floor and no elevator. Room is too small for two people. Dont expect too much. and no elevator BTW.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This little Gem was such a fantastic find, I felt blessed! The room was comfotable and bigger than subsequent places in the rest of Italy at the same price. The air was great and they cleaned daily.
