B&B La Via della Giudecca - Syracuse

Once we found the b & b we were very comfortable. Anything we needed they helped us with. The place is charming and oh-so-clean. The breakfast was more than enough. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Very difficult to drive to, even with directions. I hope they can improve that.

We stayed at La Via Della Giudecca for 2 nights. The location was wonderful, right in the middle of Ortygia in Syracusa. We were on the top floor with a kitchen and a balcony. We were sorry that we could not stay longer. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved it. Very comfortable and beautifully restored old building in the heart of old Siracusa. The help and advice from Roberta was marvellous. Only thing we would have changed: fresh bread at breakfast. Coffee was something I shall miss for a long time though. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The room-flat was great and beautiful. The cleaning and location as perfect, but without view of the city. The hotel is great but only during the morning you have someone at reception (at least in low season)

Unfortunately, when we stayed in this hotel we only had one night. If I had known it would have been so beautiful I would have stayed longer. In a lovely part of Ortigia, and away from the really touristy sites, it's hidden (and hard to find) on a tiny square, where the locals sit outside local pizzarias and chat late into the night. This small hotel is more than just a B&B. It is in a beautifully restored building in the old Jewish quarter of Ortygia within walking distance of all the main sites in this beautiful city. Outside is a small square in front of a church (our room looked directly onto this) and a a lively neighbourhood cafe which supplies the food and drinks for breakfast […] which is taken in the hotel. All the rooms and public areas of the hotel are immaculately decorated and well cared for. I thought we had booked just a double bedroom but we got something more like a suite with a large sitting room, a huge fridge and a lovely bathroom. There are two computers with free internet access for resident's use and free wi-fi for your own lap-top. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only down-side for some people will be the car access and parking. The hotel is in a restricted access pedestrian zone - so you have to wind your way thro' the old city, drop off your bags and drive on to the big public car park on the edge of city near the market. But don't let this put you off. The car park looks intimidating but isn't really - you park on the ground floor - and it is incredibly cheap - free all day and 1 euro overnight. Read more

El único pero, encontrarlo es muy difícil, entre la maraña de calles y direcciones porhibidas de Ortigia, y el no aclarar que hay hasta 5 vías (todas cercanas) llamadas de la Giudeca... Deberían aclarar que está en la esquina de vía de la Giudeca con una plaza

Ricavato nell'ex ghetto con eccellente ristrutturazione di un bel palazzo è in posizione ideale per girare a piedi l'isola di Ortigia. Camere luminose. La nostra, al secondo piano, era una vera suite con ingresso, cucina, soggiorno, camera matrimoniale. Al terzo piano anche terrazzini con vista (ma attenti alcaldo d'estate).
