The reason we choose this hotel was because we had to catch a plane at 8AM and it was promoted that there was a van service to take us to the airport, but what was not comunicated before was that there was no service early in the morning so we had to pay 20 euros for a taxi.

We stayed here lured by the pictures and the location did not disappoint - amazing views of the mountains and valleys. The drive up/down is not for the faint of heart - very skinny cliff roads with many switch-backs and need to look out for bikers and locals passing you (and barely enough space for two cars most of the way) - but it is worth it (including the drive if you are able to relax enough to enjoy it). The hotel is by itself perched above the very small San Bartolome village, and there is little to do up there other than enjoy the view, hike/bike, or take advantage of the hotel facilities (with a very nice spa, pool, gym, and tennis courts). We preferred to drive down to the shore during the day (takes around 30 minutes due to the roads) and escape to the mountains for the evening. As many on here have said, the food is not great, especially the buffet (which should be expected - not sure there is such a thing as a "good" buffet). However, ordering a la carte, the food is much better and likely cheaper than the buffet anyways. So, steering clear of the buffet dinner (breakfast is standard European buffet and is perfectly acceptable), there is little not to like about the place. Bed could have been a bit more comfortable, room was lacking in a few ways (no wireless - only in the lobby area, no corkscrews, very small tv), but all forgivable given the location (and that it's Europe, where few hotels have the standard amenities Americans are used to getting in decent hotels).

engoed my stay werry much, from the time of cheak in hotell is easy to locate, just around the coner in small peasfull willage, and less then 5min drive from the sea, althou the road from the noth is hard( along the sae on a mounten bus driver was local) adrenalin was jumping in my weins, but driver stop at the door Hotel is well desingt withouth losin a homey feeling. The oportunity to set down in zakusi or have my morning cofe looking at sharp shaped mountains, was a great expiriense. Deafenetly woud recomend as an exsiting getaway, for those who got taerd of layng around and want to see what the island had to offer.

IThis was the second least expensive hotel in my search. Chosen over the chepast one becouse of location. My expectations where low. Beeing ex cabin... crew I have seen some grim hotels with both four and five star. Suprice, suprice! Night porter spoke english very well, room was large, clean and modern. Walls however paper thin. Just one block from the beach. Lots of small late night shops and restaurants in the area. TV-channels almost all in spanish (as per usual), BBC News beeing the English exception. Managed to extend my checkout (very greatfull) untill 1PM but not possible with anything later as hotel fully booked next night. Hotel has a bar and friendley service there as well. Jag åkte ensam till Las Palmas för att vila upp mig mellan två jobb. Hotellet var rent och fint med väl fungerande wifi och en hel del tv-kanaler varav tre var engelskspråkiga. Mycket bra läge ca 100 m från Playa de las Canteras och ca tre hundra meter från Catalinaparken. Lite lyhört märkte jag när ett spanskt par började träta i rummet bredvid. Ganska […] hög ljudnivå från gatan också men drog man ner metallpersiennerna ordentligt så försvann det mesta av ljudet och allt ljus. Hotellets restaurang serverade de största köttportioner jag någonsin sett. Sammanfattningsvis var det ett väldigt bra lågbudgethotell och åker jag tillbaka till Las Palmas kommer jag med största sannolikhet att bo där igen. Read more

servicio atento, bien situado en segunda línea de playa, pero la habitación era extremadamente pequeña. Incluso para entrar había que hacerlo de uno en uno para poder abrir la puerta.

Lidt fortravlet personale og meget hårde senge, men ellers fint hotel. Det ligger godt med mange restauranter, butikker og stranden tæt ved (100 meter). Selvom det var vinter og de lokale gik med jakker var vi i vandet hver dag. Der ligger 2 store indkøbscentre tæt ved.

Hotellet beliggenhed i centrum af Las Palmas kun et stenkast fra stranden er perfekt, selvom selve nabolaget er en smule kedelig. Største mangel i mine øjne var udvalget af engelsk sprogede tv kanaler (1).

Billigt hotel med de basale ting i orden. Ikke nogen overdreven luksus, men det forventes ikke til den pris. Der serveres ikke morgenmad, men der er mange hyggelige barer og caféer i nærheden hvor den kan nydes. Kan anbefales hvis man ønsker et godt sted at overnatte.
