We stayed for 4 nights. We enjoyed meals in a variety of places. Pizzas at Don Vicente, the Tre Sorelle, and others- all very good and reasonably priced. Plenty to choose from. Claudia at the hotel was extremely helpful and really friendly and welcoming. Overall, very good and we would definitely recommend it to others and would stay there again.

"Clean and unique; helpful staff & good value!"
Very nice one night stay. Very helpful English speaking receptionist. Great pizza specialist around the corner. Equidistant from the historic centre and the more modern shops and bars. Good value and you won't go wrong with this place. Gallipoli is very picturesque. Matera is a good destination after here.

"Albergo grazioso a due passi dal centro storico"
Albergo accogliente e molto pulito. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Servizio bar impeccabile.

Hotell ligger bra till men lite trist bakgata. Trevlig personal.

"Mkt bra hotell i Gallipoli"

He estado dos días.

"Great place at great price."

Hotel location and room was great overlooking one of the harbors. It had a balcony and was a two story room. Quite interesting layout with a very high ceiling. Within walking distance of the citadel, shopping and restaurants. Arrived late by car on a rainy night but able to park right at the front door on one of their reserved spaces. The night concierge was great. He managed to order pizza for our room considering being late and pouring rain. Great value for the location and breakfast included. I am able to speak italian but my wife can't. The staff spoke english and was very helpful conversing with her. Also helpful with directions, places to eat and shopping.

"BEWARE CONCIERGE STOLE personal clothes, HORRIBLE customer service, be very very aware!!!"
08/10/15 Globaltraveller12015 Sydney, Australia
I stayed for two evenings at this hotel and will never return!!! On the day of my checkout my friend and I left all our luggage with Rossella the concierge who was looking after our bags whilst we went to the beach. A day after our checkout I opened my luggage to reveal that several items of clothing were missing and they were there the day before when I packed my luggage (this was also witnessed by my friend who I was travelling with). As soon as I realised I had items missing I called the hotel, they assured me they had spoken to the cleaner who had found nothing left in my room and that leaving bags behind the desk was completely safe. It is important to note that I travelled directly to my next destination by car and that my luggage was not touched or out of my sight during during this period. Additionally Rosella at concierge had asked us to add her on facebook as we were similar in age and it would be nice to stay in contact. However approximately three weeks after staying at this hotel to our shock there was a photo of Rosella wearing the exact unique australian designer top that I had 'lost' on a night out with her friends....an incredible coincidence?!? It was very obvious and undeniable that she was wearing my top as it was an Australian designer brand that cannot be purchased in Italy, Europe or Online! The top was very distinct due to particular design features such as the fabric, high neck and cut which were obvious even in the night time photo. I was absolutely disgusted and shocked that anyone would steal particularly the concierge of a 4 star hotel?!?! And there was also another top and cap which went suspiciously 'missing' however no pictures have emerged yet! But I was even more horrified with the treatment I received from the second concierge staff Valentina, who I rang to report this incident too! I was greeted with absolutely no respect, Valentina would not let me speak to any sort of manager or owner of the hotel Signora Bianco who was 'too busy and did not have fixed working hours'. Eventually I had to discuss the issue with Valentina, she really did not do anything to help and insisted I called her later as she was too busy with check out. After calling her back she could only be described as rude! She told me she did not know Rosella which I find hard to believe working in a small hotel in the south of Italy she does not know someone who works in her own hotel? doing the same job? Valentina continued to tell me that she cannot accuse Rossella and there is nothing that can be done. She did not suggest to call me back, to try and compensate me or to even wait to see what Rossella said when she was confronted. In fact when I asked if she needed my email address Valentina replied "what for?" It was absolutely the most appalling and arrogant customer service I have ever received. On a final note one goes on holiday to have an enjoyable and relaxing time! Not to have personal items STOLEN from a 4 STAR HOTEL, and to waste time on the phone with INSULTING and UNPLEASENT concierge.

"Excellent hotel and location!!"

I recently stayed at the Hotel Bianco (July 6th- 9th) and was not disappointed. The hotel is well located it's near the train station which is about 10 mins away by walking. Also, it's not too far from the bus stop where you can take the bus for day trips or to go to Lecce, about 20 mins by walking. The hotel is just a street away from Corso Roma, where you will find all the shops and restaurants, and 10 mins away from the old city and city beach. The hotel itself is very clean and the girls working at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. The only problem is that there is no elevator in the hotel but there are only 2 floors to the hotel, and the majority of the rooms are on the 1st floor. The hotel has a nice roof top patio with a nice view of the port. The room was clean and everything was in working order. As well there is free wifi which works in the room and also the breakfast room. The breakfast room is very nice it over looks the port and there is also a patio where you can have your breakfast. The breakfast itself was your usual continental breakfast with a good variety of foods. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the baia verde beach if you don't want to go to the city beach. If I were to return to Gallipoli I would definitely stay at the hotel Bianco again.

"Nice Stay"
05/10/15 verenajones Faro, Portugal
Stayed at the hotel for three nights - arrived by train and the hotel is just around the corner from the station. It's an easy walk to all parts of Gallipoli. This is a traditional hotel which was very clean but very dated. We had a nice welcome and the staff were very welcoming. We were given a room on the first floor with a sea view albeit over the disused rail tracks. The plumbing in the bathroom was very noisy and gave off all sorts of sound when the cistern was filling. Hope this didn't disturb our neighbours. The breakfast was o.k. and the young lady serving fresh coffee was charming - always a smile. The hotel price is probably at around the right level for the accommodation so definitely wouldn't complain apart from a little tweaking here and there. If you have a car this place would also be ideal as they have parking places outside. Good, clean well priced.

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night in this hotel. We had a beautiful room on the first floor with two windows both overlooking the sea. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. The breakfast was ok with the usual selection of rolls, cheese and cold meat. Our only complaint was that we were told there was free wifi but unfortunately there was no wifi reception in our room.

We arrived at the hotel and were given a reserved parking spot right outside the hotel which is only a few minutes walk to the island and the town. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Our room had a good view of the marina and was on two levels with a double bed on each level. The price was low but not too low.

"Perfect for exploring Gallipoli"
05/04/13 PJLWA Seattle
We spent two nights in a room with balcony with views of the ocean. It is in a quiet location, one block off the main shopping street and a short walk to the bridge to the old city. There is dedicated street parking in front of the hotel. Our room was very comfortable, with wood furniture and modern bath. Our balcony, with a table and two chairs, was a good place to relax and read in the sun. There is a roof terrace, but is wasn’t set up since it was early in the season. Breakfast was good. There are many restaurants nearby. Ricci (sea urchins) are a local specialty, and you should have them as may ways as possible (good linguine with ricci at Il Capriccio.) Gallipoli is a very pleasant and walkable small city, and Hotel Bianco was perfect for enjoying it.

"Affordable, Great Location, Simple and Clean"
11/05/12 itisasmallsmallworld Tampa, Florida
Hotel Bianco is located one street down from the bridge that connects the island of "Old Gallipoli" with the modern, new city on the mainland. The hotel has a few rooms with ocean view, but the majority look out on the interior courtyard. While the rooms are not much to look at (white walls, bare floors, no decor), my stay was quite comfortable, thanks to windows that kept out the noise, shutters for perfect black out, comfortable single bed and powerful a/c, strong water pressure, and the fresh cornetti (croissants) were delicious at breakfast. The hotel staff were very nice and welcoming, and the hotel is spic and span clean. For 45 euros, it doesn't get better than this.
