We spent two nights and enjoyed them both. We arrived early and the hotel staff was more than happy to hold our luggage and place it in the room for us so we could immediately go out and explore Lucerne. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and it provides convenient access to town. The hotel location is across the lake from Lucerne, but that gives you some beautiful views of the city and the surrounding mountains. Well worth not being in the hustle and bustle of a busy town. The hotel is right on the edge of Lake Lucerne.

The reception was warm and helpful: Our room was charming. We were sorry the restaurant was not available for dinner as the chef was on holiday, but the staff assisted us with lovely dinner reservations. Located in a small traditional village, close to Lucern and Zurich. Good for outdoor activities. Communication was no problem as people spoke multiple languages.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was nice and the bed/pillows very comfortable, and the breakfast (included) was outstanding. The hotel was located nearby everything.

Hotel is closed to main attractions. However, if traveling by car you need to park your car in a private city parking lot, which can be very expensive. Room was fairly small for a family of four. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable- children had to sleep with us on a double bed. Receptionist was very helpful and was fluent in English. If you are on budget, it's a good 3 star hotel.

Camera ampia e pulita, ma bagno minucscolo. La connessione wi-fi non è delle migliori. Colazione sodisfacente. Personale cortese. Ottimale la posizione proprio sul lago. I letti avevano solo coprimaterasso, cuscino e trapunta: niente lenzuola. Buono per trascorrerci una notte. Non darei più di un paio di stelle.
