the front desk staff, restaurant and bar staff were personable and eager to please. the hotel location was excellent. housekeeping was lacking: one day the room was not made up when we returned at 3pm. after a call was put thru the bed was hurriedly made, bathroom wiped-up BUT no bath mat was left, no glasses were washed or was the tea cup washed. the next day the cup was washed but the glassess were not washed again.

Good rate, kind staff, perfect location in Old Town, clean. Room was smallish but comfortable enough. Many clientele appeared to be European businessmen, suggesting that the hotel's four stars are respected as such here despite its age. Certainly not a new place; I did not stay in the renovated rooms on the fourth floor.

Het was even zoeken, maar het is een erg prettig hotel. We werden in het Nederlands verwelkomd, omdat de eigenaar een Nederlander is, best wel makkelijk. We konden buiten op het terras wat drinken en hebben er ook gegeten, was prima. Je liep makkelijk naar de Moezel, een leuke wandeling. De kamer was in orde en de badkamer ook. Het was er 's nachts […] heel stil, dat slaapt prettig. De auto stond bij het hotel gratis geparkeerd. Het ontbijt was heel goed. Alles was er en vers. Zelfs champagne. Geen minpunt te ontdekken. Hun leidraad is ook: u komt als klant, en vertrekt als vriend. Zo is het ook. Read more
