We spent 3 nights on a mid-week ski trip. The rooms and breakfast were fine. The drive or bus to skiing in Jochberg, Kitzbühel, or Kaprun was convenient. Mittersill is small, but has a few nice restaurants and bars. Highly recommended for the lower budget traveler!

Q Hotel Maria Theresa is a very comfortable hotel. The rooms, bathrooms are very simple yet worked just perfectly for our friend and my son and I. The service staff is quite pleasant. The breakfast was more than adequate and the hotel has quite a lively bar, at times with a dj. The location is great, just a short walk to the lifts or any restaurant in town. We would absolutely stat here again.

This hotel was very nice. Only drawback is that it is a very steep uphill hike to get to the ski lifts. This is the case for most of the Bad Gastein hotels, however. I recommend renting ski equipment from a shop near the slopes that will let you leave the equipment there overnight. I cannot imagine trying to make the hike up the hill in ski boots carrying skis.

WE WERE WELCOMED AT THE HOTEL WITH OPEN ARMS. THEY PROVIDE A TOUR OF THE PLACE WHERE YOU'LL SEE THE POOL, WALKING POOL (FOR THOSE WHO DO LONG HIKES IN THE AREA), SUANAS, BATHS, MASSAGE ROOM, AND GAME ROOMS. BREAKFAST WAS OUTSTANDING AND THE VIEW IS EXTRAORDINARY. ROOM WAS BASIC - NO FRILLS. PARKING IS LIMITED BUT WE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM. HOTEL IS LOCATED WAY ABOVE TOWN SO BE PREPARED TO WALK A BIT TO GET INTO TOWN.

Situated in Bruck an der Grossglocknerstrasse, Lukashansl is close to Areitbahn and winter recreation like downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. Also nearby is Zeller See.

Do not book this hotel in case you plan to sleep during 1 and 4 o'clock in the morning - in the wee hours of the night/morning drunken school kids were yelling, hammering at the hotel room doors... they were completly drunk they and did not care for other hotel guest that tried to sleep. But more surprisingly the hotel owners did not care at all about […] our complaints as well the next morning - they said that this is not their problem/business - and we should not dare to talk to them about this - but rather speak to the agency that booked the hotel rooms from them... So in conclusion this hotel wins an award for the worst customer service ever! You might get lucky if you book the hotel room and there is no school class around - but I wouldn't dare... as you will not get any support from the hotel's management in case something goes wrong - they just take your cash - that's it. Hi All, Up side, cheap, pleasant staff, nice position in small village, parking (although a bit limited at times), beer prices, ski hire prices (although the equipment is not top of the range) Down side, they have a dog which runs riot, you have to pay for internet access, the soft drinks for the kids costs more than the beer, the sauna area is very […] tired as are most of the rooms, about 2 miles to main Zell am See ski area (although station is up the road for access into Zell) although not suitable for access to ski areas. Food is ok but nothing special. This hotel needs to sort out the main problems of the dog running riot, expensive soft drink prices, look at the menu and spend some money on redecorating the rooms and I would say I would stay there again. But as it stands at the moment I probably would not unless I see some improvement in the reviews on here. Read more

Bad points: No free internet access... 10 minutes cost you 1 euro. This is such a bad practice and is so annoying in this day and age! Noisy, annoying untethered dog, plus a couple of times I saw the dog climb onto a chair which allowed access to the salad bar from which he stole bread rolls, VERY UNHYGIENIC. If you dont like dogs you will not like […] this hotel. Rooms need a refresh but are adequate. Food is ok but not up to usual Austrian standards. Soft drinks VERY expensive at 4 euros for a large drink. A large beer is only 3.5 euros. Good points: Nice atmoshpere, beer prices not bad, staff always helpful, cheap ski hire compared to mountain shops If they removed the dog from the customers area, made the Internet free and lowered the price of soft drinks I would recommend this hotel as what it is a good budget hotel. Pros: Not expensive. Good location. Cons: Smell smoking from other rooms. No complimentary coffee or tea. Door can be opened without key, simply pull/push harder. Onwers dog has a special interest in my girlfriend's boots and bitting them constantly.

we were housed in a pension that is owned by the hotel. the rooms were clean but a little run down. it sufficed for one night, but i would not want to stay there for an extended stay. the hotel did appear nicer.

Vstricnost dvouch dam na recepci by mohla byt lepsi, ale ostatni zamestnanci byli usmevavejsi a privetivejsi. Det er lidt ægerligt at man ikke får det værelse man bestiller. Vi bestilte et 5 personers familieværelse, men fik 2 værelser istedet for. Prisen var den samme, men så skal de ikke angive at vi kan få et familieværelse.

Eksempel, ventede 45 min. på at for lov til at betale, men det lykkes da vi truede med at gå. Vi fandt bestik og service, som de åbenbart havde glemt at gøre rent. Ydermere virkede receptionen for travl, fraværende og til tider arrogant. […] Synd da de ellers har gode rammer for at få et perfekt hotel også af hensyn til beliggenheden og hotellets udseende. Lukashansl er perfekt beliggende i naturskønne omgivelser og i kort afstand til både Zell am See og Grossglockner. Værelset var sparsom indrettet, men passede matchede fint vores forventninger til blot et par dage i Østrig. Personalet var imødekommende og hjælpsomme.
