Good for the price. The ladies working at the reception spoke English and they were nice. The phone was not working in the room but everything else looked good and clean

Located in Bordeaux (Bordeaux Golden Triangle), Hotel De l'Opéra is close to Grand Theater of Bordeaux, Aquitaine Museum, and Maison du Vin de Bordeaux. Also nearby are Place des Quinconces and Place de la Bourse.

As stated by other reviews we had to collect our key from the hotel around the corner to this hotel - no problem at all. Our room was on the third floor.... It was spotlessly clean and basic. We had a small balcony that we could stand out on and we were looking directly across at the Opera House. If you want a hotel that is the perfect location for walking around central Bordeaux then you can't beat this hotel. We were two minutes walk from the longest continuous shopping street in Europe - bliss!! And just around the corner from the tourist office. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on it. If you're looking for a luxurious then don't go here but if you want something central to lay your head and leave your bags then you can't go wrong with Hotel De L'Opera.
