I wouldn't stay here again, but there was nothing terrible about it. You can do much better for much cheaper in Bali.

The photos on the website were a little misleading. The rooms looked very modern and bright and clean. I booked the standard queen room which was located off to the side of the hotel (not around the pool where lots of rooms are located with balconies). The bed had an old canopy over it, was very creaky, with two sheets and a felt blanket in between […] the sheets that served as a comforter. Bathroom was fine with old tub, but also a very cool outside shower. The room was basic and a bit old. No fridge or coffeepot in room. Complimentary water in room. Other than the room, the hotel grounds are very nice. There was a lovely bedlike bench and small pool outside my room. The breakfast buffet was fine, with standard omelets, banana pancakes, bali fruits, and coffee. Stray cat wandering the grounds. Surrounding area is not great and don't recommend walking around. Just take cab around to Seminyak or Kuta for shopping. Decently priced for a one night stay, but probably would not return here. Read more

The only negative thing about this hotel is some of the staff. Though everyone was always courteous (I would never worry about items going missing or anything serious), sometimes they just seemed indifferent to us. The man working front desk seemed very ignorant about the area when we asked for suggestions for shopping locations or acceptable prices […] for taxi fares, etc. However there was also a woman sometimes at the front desk-- she was very helpful. Service in the dining room was very slow, however room service was very quick. We stayed at the hotel one of the days of our stay, and asked that they clean our room for us while we were at dinner, giving them a two-hour time-frame. They said they would definitely have it cleaned for us-- they did not clean it at all that day, which was very disappointing. If you will not be spending much time at the hotel, I definitely recommend it, but if you plan on spending a day indoors, I think the attitude of the staff could get to you. On an unrelated side-note, if you are older and have mobility issues, be advised the only way out of the bathtub is down several wooden steps, and there is no support rail anywhere near by. While our taxi driver had difficulty finding the place, we were pleasantly surprised once we got there. If you have a scooter the location is perfect. 5 mins from eat st, a few more to legian proper and depending on traffic - a few more to kuta. Staff were always friendly, pool was lovely, rooms were cleaned well. Our room had a lovely private outdoor […] shower that we could have spent the whole stay in. The only downside which is similar for most places is mosquitoes. They would infiltrate our room and bathroom. We went through 2 bottles of spray which more or less kept them at bay. The only other downside was a relatively unpleasant though not trip ruinin smell that emanated from the toilet even after it had been cleaned. But it wasn't a show stopper. Although located a 10-15 minute walk from the beach front, the hotel is in a quiet spot near the river, approx 5 minutes walk to the main road leading between Seminyak and Legion with an abundance of shops and restaurants on offer. The hotel staff are pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The buffet breakfast is suitable but nothing to shout home about. […] The reason I rated 3/5 for cleanliness of room is due to some marks on the linen and some of the towels offered weren't the best. Some days new fluffy ones, some days old and tired looking ones. Saying that, staff will clean and make your room everyday. It is hit and miss with comfort of the beds, we stayed there on three saperate occasions with the first bed being really soft, second ok and third was firm. The two main selling points of the hotel are the cost, but book online via Expedia or such like to gain the discount, and second was the pool, which is very peaceful and relaxing. There is always a sunbed to choose, service from the staff on hand when you need it and you can order in takeaway food if you like. I would recommend for anyone to stay here that doesn't want to pay through the nose and to be left at your own demise. Read more

Staff and service was brilliant. Very clean. Only small problem is that it isnt in a very well know location, so some of the taxi drivers might have problems getting there. After a few days youll be able to direct them yourself. 10 min walk from the quieter Legian Beach - which is nice to chill at. Hotel was lovely and staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was fantastic and so was the buffet breakfast and they picked us up from the airport. Only suggestion was that the water in the bathroom was not very hot. Would recommend though as our stay was really nice

A little out of the way but, quite frankly, it's what you need in this bustling area. A little oasis of calm in Legian but walkable to the beach (or a short <$1 taxi ride as long as you get a meter taxi and are not duped into a fixed fee). Lovely staff. Gorgeous room. The hotel was nice and clean and had good facilities, however it wasn't in a good location (opposite a creek a few streets away from main strip in between legian and seminyak). The bed was rock hard and the pillows were terrible. The staff were friendly but disorganised. We booked a scooter and it didnt turn up, we had to go back and book it again. […] The staff don't appear to pass on messages to next shift, and we booked a tour and the tour operator went to a different hotel because the staff didnt do the booking properly. I went here with my 4 year old daughter to spend time with her. We had a nice room close to the pool. Breakfast was nice with scramble eggs for my daughter. Was about 5 mins drive to Jl Legian for food shopping but other than that it was a pleasant stay. The free wi fi was great to keep me in touch with my wife back home.

Good quiet place to stay, out of the way a bit (but thats the only way to get quiet in Bali) Few things a bit on the shabby side - sheets and towels all needed replacing and the toaster in the breakfast area just needed to be thrown out! I can't recommend this place enough! The location is prime. It's just down the road (5 minute walk) from the main strip in Seminyak, without the hastle of a busy road, so it's nice and quiet. They recommended a great day spa for my friend and I, and one night at 3am when I got the munchies, I asked a staff member where I could […] get some good quality Mie Goreng, and he told me to wait right there, drove off into Seminyak and came back with the best local Mie Goreng I had ever had, and gave me change out of $5! Naturally I gave him a big tip as I didn't even ask him to do that for me. The whole team there were so lovely. The hotel rooms are very spacious and clean too. The pool is slightly heated so you can go for a dip in the middle of the night and it's still devine. The best part about it was the price, I have never stayed somewhere so central for that price. The breakfast was the only thing that could do with improvement. They didn't tend to re-stock the platters once they were finished, so I recommend getting there earlier rather than later. Read more

Villa Diana makes me love Bali even more. Room was clean, and cleaned every morning. Spacious Room. Big Bathroom Walk in Wardrobe. Service was Awesome. Breakfast can be improved. Everything was a one call away. Love this place. Try it fellow Travellers. I put my last dollar on it.

Upon checking in at Villa Diana we had been up graded due to an error on their part, which was great! Our 5 night stay there was very relaxing, with cocktails by the pool and did I mention the room was amazing. The only thing is the place is a little out of the way, however still a cheap taxi ride into Kuta and surrounds.

Although it is about 15-20 minute drive from Kuta Beach it was the relaxing, quiet resort that we were looking for. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Diana. The hotel was clean and the rooms overlooked the pool. We arrived early and they kindly organised an early check in for us. Hadde suite. Litt for minimalistisk. Herlig svømmebasseng, men litt vel langt til stranden og strandrestauranter der man kunne spise middag med utsikt til solnedgangen. Frokosten kunne vært bedre. Ellers meget god service. Alt i alt hadde vi et fantastisk opphold på Bali.

ベッドのスプリングが最悪で、全く寝れませんでした。 寝るとスプリングがどこにあるか分かるくらい体が沈みます。 又、朝シャワーを浴びようと思ったらお湯が出ませんでした。 部屋は一見綺麗に見えますが、隅々まで掃除が行き届いてはいませんし、床は全く掃除していないのか、3分ほど裸足で歩いたら足の裏は真っ黒で、ゴミが沢山ついていました。

Nous sommes tres décus de notre séjour dans cet hôtel dans l'ensemble. Le site annonçait la présence de quatre piscine. Certes. Seulement, vous n'avez la possibilité d'acceder qu'à une seule si vous prenez une autre type de chambre que la villa. L'hôtel est éloigné de la plage environ 25 minutes de marche. Cela se fait bien mais le problème est l'environnement. […] On ne se sent pas en sécurité en empruntant le chemin de la ville ou de la plage. Par ailleurs, il est indiqué que l'hôtel dispose d'une navette gratuite vers l'aéroport. Il s'agit en fait d'un taxi qu'ils appellent et qui est bien évidement payant. Hotel di buona categoria, la struttura si presenta bene, anche se a noi è stata data una camera al piano superiore, anzichè una a livello piscina, decisamente di livello inferiore. L'hotel è lontano dalla spiaggia, per raggiungerla a piedi si impiega circa mezz'ora. La zona dei risoranti e shopping dista circa 15 minuti a piedi.
