I want to thank everyone at the Nevsky Forum for the most wonderful visit. Everyone that I came in contact with at the hotel from the restaurant staff, the reception, the young man that stands at the top of the stairs to assist travelers with luggage, etc, the lovely lady that kept my room clean and bed made where wonderful, helpful, efficient and went […] out of their way to answer my questions and assist me in my holiday. I felt, safe, secure, welcomed and in good hands. I was a bit nervous traveling alone to see the great works of art so far from home (Los Angeles, California, USA) but once I arrived did not regret the decision to come to St Petersburg, Russia. The hotel is in a great location, comfortable, convenient to bus and subway (I used the bus for all local travel) and to be able to start the day with the lovely breakfast was a great start to the daily outings without wasting time. Right in the heart of the city, steps away from the Metro. All rooms are non-smoking (a plus in Russia) but there is a smoking lounge on the 1st floor. Free WIFI worked well. Staff was pleasant and accomodating. Would stay there again. Good price for the location.

We stayed as a couple making our first holiday trip to Russia. The hotel is located virtually next door to a metro station, making travel very easy. The staff are unfailingly helpful and most speak some English; many are quite fluent. Even before our arrival, email requests were dealt with very promptly and efficiently. The outlook from the standard […] rooms at the back of the hotel is a bit grim, but who goes to a hotel to sit in the room and look out of the window? The upside is that these rooms are extremely quiet. (The deluxe rooms overlook Nevsky Prospect.) The air con in the rooms is very efficient and quiet too, unless on boost. The standard rooms aren't huge but there's more than enough room for a king size bed and the small ensuite shower room is very well fitted out. The service from the housekeeping staff is excellent. There is 24h staffing of reception and the security is excellent and, unusally these days, provided by a human instead of a camera. The hotel is small enough to be personal but large enough to provide all facilities and services. The restaurant is OK and good value, but there are more exciting places to eat in St Petersburg. We would certainly stay at the Nevsky Forum again; it was great. Read more

Our stay at this hotel was comfortable and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you have a room at the front it can be quite noisy but it did not really bother us as this was part of the way life in St. Petersburg seems to be. Ideally situated for the main railway station.

Above anything else, the service in this hotel is amazing!! They can't do enough for you and treat every guest with such care and interest. They helped with visa support and booked me a car to pick up from the airport. They not only gave me advice on travel, but also found me reasonable ballet tickets, booked me other cars when needed and wrote names […] of places in Russian so that I could show the bus drivers.They kept me reassured and made me feel safe, as I was a single female traveller. Masha, in particular, was super helpful and spoke such wonderful English. Her and Alexander (lovely, smiley man by the lift) were always so welcoming and taught me some Russian words too. The hotel restaurant is great with a varied menu, very reasonably priced. They also had a keyboard player on two nights who was very good. There were lots of varieties for breakfast - cereals, cheeses, hams, porridge, boiled eggs, breads, pastries, juices, fruits, pancakes, as well as a choice of a hot breakfast. My room was spacious, clean and had a safe, tv, phone, wireless connection (they lent me a laptop), fridge, shower and slippers and robe. I slept very well each night. There is an endless supply of water, tea and coffee and on Thursday's you get a free Russian buffet early evening. Read more

We had a good 3 day stay at Nevsky forum hotel in mid July 2011. The rooms are older style, but the norm or Russia. Ensuite was clean and the a/c worked well as it was quite hot. Our room fronted Nevsky prospect, the main street, but windows were double glazed and room was quiet. Breakfast is typically Russian, quite meager. Staff in breakfast, iwere […] great, very accommodating. Free wifi in room worked well. Its a great location. We got a taxi from airport, was $1500 roubles. But you negotiate first before getting into cab as no meters appeared to be in use in Russia. This hotel is within walking distance to train station to Moscow. Only about 750 meters away. Ideal. Our family of 4 (including two small children) travel all over Europe and enjoyed our stay for 4 nights in this hotel. We stayed in one of the suites and it worked well for us including a cot for our youngest. The room was good size and the staff was very helpful -- the nice thing was there are a couple of fast food places across the street (KFC/Pizza […] Hut) which were easy to do takeaway and bring home. In addition there was the Stockman store only a couple of minutes away to pick up snacks, etc. for the daily excursions throughout the city. We typically walk everywhere and whilst this was approximately 20 minutes away from the Hermitage it was a good position to navigate the entire city. The breakfast was very good every morning and a nice start to the day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone family or just a couple and know you will enjoy it. Очень понравилось, отдельное спасибо персоналу! У меня был прекрасный номер с двумя комнатами, кофе-машиной, с большой кроватью. Отель расположен на Невском проспекте рядом с метро. El hotel está en la Nevsky Prospect, a unos tres kilómetros del Ermitage. Para subir el equipaje te abren una verja que da a un callejón un tanto especial, porque para llegar a recepción […] hay que subir un montón de escaleras. El hotel empieza en la planta dos, en la que se encuentra la recepción -pequeñita- , un buen restaurante y habitaciones. Hacer mención especial a todo el personal, extraordinariamente amable y atento. La habitación que nos asignaron era una habitación correcta con un baño bien equipado aunque muy pequeño. Lo mejor de la habitación eran las ventanas con vistas a Nevsky Prospekt. La limpieza era muy buena y te reponían botellas de agua mineral todos los días. El restaurante es muy recomendable, sobre todo en relación calidad-precio, y el desayuno es muy bueno.
