Location is good if you want to explore Palermo Neighborhood. If you enjoy walking it is great, you can walk 7 blocks to get to "subte" (subway). Rooms are small; I personally didn't like that shower is in the middle of the room without curtains or anything, so it gets cold. The room that they rented to me should not have been rented to anyone. Right on the other side of the wall there was a lot of construction going on----nothing quite like the sounds of hammers when you are trying to sleep. My partner and I stayed here for 10 days, and we loved every minute of it! The staff was just wonderful – Maricele, Luciano, and Nahuel were especially helpful and forgiving of our limited Spanish. The breakfasts were likewise wonderful – they couldn’t wait to offer us fresh espresso, croissants, scrambled eggs and more every morning. Having never been to Buenos AIres, I didn't know where to stay and, as a result, I booked a room at the Blue Soho because I have family that lives four blocks from the hotel. Then, I read Tripadvisor and saw a review from an Ecuadorian (AA purser, May 31) that almost made me change my reservation. Thank goodness my wife talked me out of it. "We've […] already booked it," she pleaded, "please, let's not make any last minute changes." I have thanked my wife repreatedly for changing my mind! First of all, with all due respect to AA purser, I couldn't be more in disagreement. The rooms were small but very cute and fun. The personal touches in room design more than made up for the size of the room. Yes, there were a few quirky issues (it took a bit of tinkering to get the hot and cold 'just right' in the shower, for example), but that was part of the fun. If you want to stay in an overpriced 5-star hotel (as I did in my side trip to Iguazu Falls - $300-plus per night), then do it and enjoy yourself. I preferred to spend my money on dinners, taxis, tango shows, and souvenirs. In addition, the people at the Blue Soho are so incredibly kind and helpful that they absolutely do, in fact, make up for any small imperfections. Luciano, Marisel, Nahuel, Vladimir, and Agustin are like friends now. They made the trip to Argentina so much richer, by giving my wife and I a strong connection to the culture; the best hotel experience of my life. I've stayed in 'swankier' hotels, but never had a better overall experience. Read more

Blue Soho was such a fantastic experience from start to finish Luciano and the team were so helpful and kind, the rooms clean and beds so comfortable. The location in Palermo Soho is absolutely outstanding, and this stay made my trip to Buenos Aires.. I stayed an extra night and would go back here in a flash!! Highly recommend.

Blue Hotel Soho is in an amazing location but has some short comings. We stayed here for 4 nights which included a sat and sun of a long weekend. Due to the location and proximity to pubs, bars and clubs comes noise till the early hours. We stayed in the N (natural) room which is upstairs in the upper right corner. The room was a bit stuffy and the […] air con was very loud so we couldn't sleep with it on and the noise outside meant we couldn't open the door to the balcony. There was also a constant drilling noise coming from next door, which while it wasn't overly offensive it was enough to keep you awake. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nearest subway (subte) is about 8 blocks (15 min walk) but cabs are cheap and plentiful if you have had enough walking. To sum up, If you are a night owl and a heavy sleeper than this place is great due to its location, but if you are light sleeper then maybe look elsewhere. Read more

Les photos sont assez trompeuses. L'état géneral de la chambre était suffisamment dégradé par rapport aux photos pour que cela soit assez frappant. Et la taille de la chambre etait bien plus petite que ce que j'imaginais en voyant les photos. L'hotel reste très propre, très bien situé dans palermo et le petit déjeuner assez copieux. Le prix reste cher […] pour ce que l'on a mais c'est plutôt un standard dans le quartier. Fiquei hospedada com uma colega durante 3 dias. Fizemos check in e check out deste periodo. Para o dia que fiquei sozinha havia feito outra compra pelo hoteis.com e já estava tudo pago.
