Surprised and happy with this hotel, Hotel Indigos can be hit or miss. This hotel is close to downtown but quiet and relaxing. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Nashville.

It was a wonderful stay in Nashville, from the Hotel Indigo to the friendliness of the city. Music was wonderful,, very difficult not to have a great time in Nashville. The staff at Hotel Indigo were so Accommodating ,from the check-in to the bartenders, Michelle and Dante and everyone we met!

This Hotel was great! Close proximity to everything. Taxi's right out front if you need one! Hotel staff was awesome! The Hotel its self is a bit older, but it was clean and has been updated a bit! I would definitely stay here again!

They booked us for a king room instead of a double bed room. So it was horrible. The place is pretty but it wasn't that great.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel, with a very inviting lobby area that offers great entertainment every evening. The location was very convenient to both Printer's Alley and Broadway. It was the perfect spot for us since our favorite bar was the Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar, the entertainment was amazing (look out for Cooper and Jam, and Stacy Merchhardt). The beds were extremely comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel, so much so, that when we return to Nashville, we will most definitely be staying here.

Hotel was in a great spot, not too far from the busy and lively street, but close enough for a very short walk. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the room had a modern feel to it. Cost of the hotel was also pretty reasonable for the type of hotel it was. Has a great boutique and unique look to it.

This was a cute, old school boutique hotel. I really liked the look and the ambiance. The lobby was cool and had a great bar with a hotel singer/ song writer. I will say that the initial hotel clerk was a little rude/snippy. I tried to check in really early which I new would be near impossible so I expected the answer to be "no" but it was the tone in which she told me "no" that I thought was a bit rude. I was however able to store my luggage until later that evening. Had room service for breakfast and the french toast was tasty! Overall I would stay here again. Great value, cool ambiance, and great location.

Hotel Indigo Nashville charms with fantastic service, an ideal location, and an authentic Nashville feel. The historic building with original features gives the property lots of character and, paired with the staff, sets this hotel apart from all others in the area (and I've stayed in most of them). The restaurant's live music is a great addition, making it a great spot to grab a drink or enjoy dinner. Upper levels have incredible views, but the whole hotel is a big win. With a location only a few blocks from Broadway, Hotel Indigo is a great place for a weekend getaway or business travel with a twist. Highly recommended!

Was in Nashville for the pre-season football game (Packers vs Titans). LP Field & places to eat were in walking distance from the hotel. Staff was friendly & helpful. Would return back!

Location was great! 2 or 3 blocks from Broadway. The hotel room sucked horribly! We were on the 14th floor so the view was good, but we had virtually no air conditioning. The temperature was 75 when we arrived in the room so we set the thermostat to 68 and left to spend a while on the town. When we returned several hours later, the temperature in the room had risen to 76! It was miserable! On top of that, instead of clean drinking glasses being left out, (as would be expected from most any hotel) all the glassware was eventually found in the dishwasher. I expected so much more from an establishment that charges nearly $300 a night for a room. At that price, breakfast should be included instead of an additional charge of $20. We were thoroughly disappointed and will stay at the Omni Hotel next time we visit Nashville and get a better room for a better price.

Great hotel. Staff takes care of problems quickly. Very helpful. Forgot to leave towels one day. Breakfast buffet needs more attention to food quality being left too long and over cooking. Also kept having breaker probs must fix. Life music in mornings while dining excellent !! Room air was a challenge we never could regulate ether too cold or warm. Goldilocks wouldn't survive. Room out side had a roar from an exhaust fan ever 10 min. Needs to be address a more sinsative person would be asking to move. The people made the difference . Like their attitude and will stay at indigo again in Nashville and other locations . Their people make the difference overlooking any issues. Also they got us last reservations at one of the spurns best restaurants. Like I said the people make the difference .

Walking distance to Broadway and all of the major attractions. Staff was moderately friendly, nothing overwhelming. The downside is that it is in the business district so a lot of things in the area are closed on the weekend, but the upside is that it is a quiet hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Broadway 3 blocks away.

After driving for 9 hours, my husband and I were exhausted and just wanted to clean up in a nice, fresh room. Our reservation somehow got lost--thank goodness I had supporting e-mails. Although they didn't have the room that we were intending on staying, they were gracious and upgraded us and it was absolutely beautiful. No noise during the evenings as in most hotels from slamming doors and noisy tenants. It was absolutely perfect and we will be back. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.

The Hotel Indigo is the result of a gut renovation of an old building in Downtown Nashville and they've done a good job with it. It is well located a close walk to many of the City's major attractions: Music City Center, Ryman Auditorium, etc. Note, you should rent a car in Nashville because some of its nicer areas e.g. Germantown, Music Row, Grand Ole Opry, etc. are not close by. Parking at the hotel is VERY convenient and cheap.The only problem I had with my room was that it wasn't as clean as I would have liked.

We didn't get the room we reserved. The hotel didn't change it for us nor were we compensated for our inconvenience in any way. We were not instructed on how to use the room key with the elevator so we could get off on the floor our room was on. It was the most miserable experience I have ever had with ANY hotel.

My main complaint is the disgusting pigeon excrement ALL OVER the windows and window sills! Although we had a nice view, this made it impossible to enjoy....it was absolutely disgusting! Not sure there's a whole lot they can do about it but it's still really gross! Very friendly staff, though!

Spent most of a week at the Hotel Indigo! Can not say enough about the hotel- easy walking distance to 2nd Ave and Broadway. Walked to the Ryman for a show. huge shower w/great water pressure (though it didn't have a door, so water got everywhere and soaked the towels. the air never got cold enough (dropped it to 65, it only cooled to 71 - in July) - super comfortable bed with a metric ton of pillows, large TV, lots of room to spread out. end room so it was very quiet. the pastries and lemonade upon check-out helped with my low blood sugar instead of having to wait another >15 minutes to go somewhere and get breakfast.

This was our first stay at the Indigo. We travel to Nashvile every two years to enjoy the music. We have stayed at four of the nationally recognized brand hotels. We will never stay anywhere but the Indigo again. The staff was outstanding. Personalized friendly service and very knowledgeable about the local food and music scene. The hotel is a rehabbed older building that was nicely done to provide interesting space rather than the sterile atmosphere of the national brand hotels. Rooms were of adequate size and a little funky as in a " W " hotel. After returning from long days along Broadway, you can relax to live local artists entertaining in the lounge. Very comfortable and very well done.

hotel staff was very, very nice. there was a little bit of building rehab going on on the one side of the building which was a little loud at times but not bothersome enough to complain about it and it was only during day. room was clean, pretty, food was good, location is perfect for anything downtown, and price wasn't too different from all other hotels in the areas. also free wifi, decent gym, and comfortable bed. i would definitely stay again.

We were so happy to find a hotel in downtown Nashville that accepted our dog. We won't travel without her so sometimes we must sacrifice luxury for just clean & friendly, which we are willing to do. This was such a wonderful trip though. Hotel staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. There is a beautiful park to walk her in, a block across the street. It's 2 blocks from the riverfront, which is beautiful as well. If you are a responsible dog owner who has been pining to visit Nashville's "music district" and you have a well behaved dog who travels well, this is an awesome place to stay. Painter's Alley was one block behind our hotel...that's an experience! You are 3 blocks from Broadway where it's all happening. Restaurants are abundant and good...go to Pucketts for breakfast! The location of this hotel and the warm welcome you get from the staff is top notch! We WILL return!

I give the place very high marks across the board. The only thing I didn't like about my stay was the incessant hectoring and pestering by the cleaning staff to try and annoy you into leaving before check-out. If check out is 11 AM, don't send people by a guest room 3 times before 10:00.

My main complaint is that there were ants in the room, even though I brought no food into the room. Otherwise, was nice, clean, decently appointed. No fridge in room is a drawback. Bath/shower above average. No complementary coffee in lobby in a.m.

Room was nice, very clean. This was a very old building and they did a good job making it a hotel. Would have liked double sinks in bathroom but overall everything was great. Only 2 blocks to Broadway where all the honky tonks are. Felt very safe walking the area late at night.

My wife and I decided at the last minute to visit Nashville. We have an Indigo property in our city so we decided to stay there in Nashville. We wanted to see the show at the Grand Ole Opry but hadn't been able to purchase them from the Opry website due to the last minute decision to go. We called to make our reservation and asked if they could help and they were able to assist us in purchasing tickets. When we arrived at the hotel we were warmly greeted by everyone from the Valet parking attendant to the front desk. When seeking help purchasing tickets to the Opry my wife mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and we were surprised with a bottle of Prosecco in our room, nice touch! The staff was friendly and quick to recommend local points of interest and restaurants. Our room was nice and had a view of the cityscape. We will be staying at the Hotel Indigo on our next visit!

We had a wonderful three-night stay and can't wait to return. The only glitch -- and it is one of those unavoidable things in the business -- was that one of the two elevators to our floor was down periodically over the long weekend for repairs. It made for some longer (5 minutes) elevator waits. But that's a pretty minor gripe. Everything else, starting with the staff to the accommodations to the foot, was top-notch. Highly recommended. Oh, good location too.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful in guiding us to good local restaurants. It was also very nice to in the morning and evening to sit in the lounge and listen to live music.
