Wow - what a nightmare - not sure if it is HOTELS.COM fault or the Millenium Towers fault... regardless, avoid if possible or ready to work for it. No # out front, had to go to real estate agency nearby, said this happens twice a week. 250 The Quays is THE MILLENIUM TOWERS. No sign, no public door (all locked), and, most annoying, no contact number […] on Hotels.com website/confirmation. I was lucky real estate agency knew the Towers person whom to call. If you come at odd hours, my guess is it would be hard to get in. SO - finally got a person to meet me outside - he apologized but the HOTELS.COM itinerary and confirmation sheet has no contact tel # - this NEEDS TO BE FIXED. My room had the worst view of the 4 sides, of a building. No water view. So that sucked. Manager was foreign so their american sensibilities and meeting american needs are lacking overall. Apt was small but had all you needed. No instructions on how to TURN ON the items - you have to reach behind to a small circuit breaker, switch to ON then u can use appliances. Bathroom had no floormat for shower - and only 1 day of towels - one small, one big. No contact # for whom to ask for more, not sure if there was a washer/dryer but if was, am sure there was no detergent. Nearby market was poor quality - produce horrible and cheap/fatty frozen foods only - not much to cook. Yes - right on Metro line, clean room, but too many negatives. Overall place was OK, but once arrived got a shock that I had to pay extra for parking, As soon as I got there they were asking for my credit card details to secure any damage that may be caused. I am still waiting for an email receipt for the parking which still has not arrived. Bathroom shower door was missing which caused water to go all over the […] floor which I had to then wipe up using a towel. checking out was a problem as I had to go and get the car out of the parking area and onto the road which had double yellow lines on, then had to run up to the 4th floor and leave keys in the room. surely they could of come at an agreed time to collect keys and let me out of the parking area. Apartment was great concerns over the fact someone in the apartment block was smoking other substances other than tabaco . Best off ringing when near as not clearly signed but very clean and well equipped .

Parking was almost 18 pound a day which wasn't advertised anywhere and wasn't told to me when they asked for credit card details to pay it. Apart from the the apartment was great.

Self service apartments in newish suburb of Manchester. Good links to central city and easy access to supermarkets/ eating establishments in the area. Bed was broken, towels and bed linen grubby and found a used plastic cup under the sofa when moved slightly - wondered when last thoroughly cleaned? Looks good at a glance but glad only stayed for the one night. Spend a little more and stay at one of the surrounding hotels would be my suggestion.

The apartment was spacious and well fitted. No reception is unusual, only contact being a person on the phone and someone who had the key to the apartment, who was very pleasant. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

No actual reception as other reviews say however if you call the number BEFORE you get there there should be no reason for a delay, the appartments are resonable sized for the price and very good location for media city and that part of town. Parking is secure and easy to use, a few maintanance issues in my particular appartment, but only minor things […] like light bulbs out and toilet rolls missing. but well priced and a good location. Great apartments. Well maintained and clean! The guys who dealt with the booking were fantastic even meeting us with the keys AND helping us up the stairs with the shopping!!!! My only "moan" if you like - was simple things like....there needs to be more glasses, plates and bowls. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 people. there were only 3 plates […] and bowls and only 4 glasses -this meant continuously washing things. In addition little things like we needed dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid---simple things really that would have taken the hassle out of things - but overall great value and nice apartment, great staff and very clean! I would stay there again for sure! Only other thing, parking is not free its is £9.50 per day -but other than them little moans IT WAS GREAT!!! Keep up the good work guys!! Read more

This is a fantastic place to stay in Manchester and with just a few adjustments to detail it would be perfect. The problem is finding the place - the map on the site is wrong - the apartments are at the other end of the Quays in the Millenium Tower (which maybe number 250 but there is no mention of that) There is no reception so you HAVE to call before […] your arrival in order to be met - otherwise like me you have to wait. In fairness the Hotels.Com customer services dealt very efficiently with my problem - thank you - but more information on the site would avoid it. The apartment was great - clean, tidy and modern. The people who checked me in were very helpfuland apologetic about my wait and trouble finding the place. There is a parking surcharge payable on arrival - thats a bit annoying but in fairness its mentioned on the site. The apartment has everything you need - except milk for the coffee. The internet is provided free but to log in you need the code number off the router which is under the television. We booked the Quay Apartments as we had trouble finding a nice hotel to take 3 adults in one room and 2 rooms were getting pricey. A friend suggested this and all in all it was great. The location was great for our needs (trip to Trafford Centre in car) We had a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms on the 10th floor with a view of the Quay. It had all […] the things we needed and that were advertised online. It is sold as 4 star and most things about it is. The people on the phone and the lady who checked us in were polite. However the little issues such as UHT milk mini cartons (a pint of semi skimmed would of been SO much more appreciated) a FILTHY dish cloth, dirty shower silicone, dishes not that clean and stray hairs around the place took it down from 4 star for me overall. These are really cheap and easy things to resolve. In fairness we did not ring anyone at the time so they may of sorted them if we asked. Overall it was great value for money and we had a lovely night but those little finishing touches would make a big difference. Read more
