This hotel is perfectly situated off Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. The staff is extremely friendly and were able to help with several recommendations. I would recommend that you bring towels and pillows with you, as theirs are somewhat undersized and not too comfy. Other than that, the room was adequately sized (for Europe), the bathroom was amazing, and the hotel was nice and quiet, despite their close proximity to the heart of the city. They even have a free ice machine on the ground floor. I have already recommended this hotel to a colleague and would definitely stay here agian. Make sure to have the churros at the cafe next door!

We stayed on the top floor, and the room was nice, spacious, clean, and elegant. However, I kept waking up throughout the night because the elevator motors would make a loud noise when people used the elevator. It wasn't a huge problem during the week when less people were using the elevator at night, but it constantly woke me up over the weekend, when people were up all hours of the night. So be warned...

Excellent location. Small and clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in February, 2013. Suggest to ask for higher floor to minimize outside noise.

This is a small modern hotel in the perfect location. It is near the Rambla so you can walk to it but in the nicer Eixample neighborhood with upscale... restaurants, sidewalk cafes, the Gaudi buildings, and shopping. The room was large and impeccably clean. Close to a convenient metro; near the #22 bus to go to Park Guell; a few blocks from Place de la Catalunya for catching the aeroport bus. The beds and pillows were not new but were acceptable. The staff wasn't chatty but helped us several times answering questions and always greeted us as we entered the hotel. The breakfast room and breakfast buffet was very nice. We enjoyed taking an afternoon break on the rooftop deck. The hotel next door had many tour bus groups which I was glad we avoided. Stayed in this hotel during a 3 day break to the city. The location is great, and the rooftop pool was a nice bonus. However if you are to book here ensure you request a room with a window to the outside. We had a room with just a slit window into the stairwell so it was a little like being in a large cupboard.
