"Wonderful resort and great staff"
Very peaceful and tons of fun activities to choose from. The staff and teachers were extremely friendly. The price is a little high but as long as you participate in a lot of activities and classes it weighs it outGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Made our engagement extra special"
My girlfirend and I stayed the weekend, where I proposed to her on the grounds. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my requests and make the event that much more special. The staff were all very friendly and the grounds are immaculate. Their are a ton of events for everyone. We did the "challenge course" which was really fun....when we go […] back we'll have to do more. I highly recommend this resort. It's a short jaunt to Austin, but honestly you won't need to leave the resort....plenty to do and the view can't be beat. And the food is amazing..... the portions perfect, and all local. Lastly, the spa definitely was worth the extra money. I've been to quite a few and this was right up there. Already looking forward to going back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Breathtaking"
My husband & I came to Travaasa for my birthday. It was as if we had traveled to another country instead of 2hrs from Houston. It was my best birthday ever!!! Exceeded my expectations. The most peaceful vacation I've ever had, other than the Adventure course that I still can't believe I did. It was a life changing experience. We have decided to go back […] at least every 6mths. Beautiful grounds with a gorgeous landscape. A little pricey with all services being charged an extra 18%. Room was very comfortable, quiet and convenient to the pool area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Noisy room AC units."
Room AC unit was so noisy it was hard too sleep with it on. With windows open, the noise of other room units were even more bothersome. Need to improve on this.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Bad service = bad hotel"

"Beautiful getaway"
This hotel was a great getaway from our lives just 30 minutes drive away. The food was good, staff very friendly and the location very tranquil. The rooms were small, as were the beds and air conditioning a bit noisy. We did have a great time though. There is also quite a hefty extra resort charge (about $60) that we weren't expecting.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Had a lovely time in a beatiful setting."
We really enjoyed our stay at Travaasa. The bed was comfortable and the linens were lovely. The shower could have had slightly better pressure and that was the only thing I thought felt a little utilitarian - the shower - but everything else was top rate. Our only meal there was breakfast and it was good, but our service was a bit slow. Be prepared […] though as to how far it is from downtown Austin. You're at least 30 minutes away from almost anything there. It is a perfect getaway location though and appeared to be a big hit with ladies weekends. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"WARNING: No children allowed and extra charges"
Travaasa is a beautiful resort with lots of great activities. BUT I arrived at about 5pm with my 13 year old daughter and her friend only to find that it is a 16 and up property. It took over 30 minutes of talking with them just to get them to allow us to stay overnight and another 15 minutes to convince them not to charge me $100 extra PER PERSON for […] activities that they would not even allow the kids to participate in anyway. They finally charged me $25/person extra just for a warm body in the room. Ludicrous. And then when I checked out, I found another $45 package service charge added to my bill. My overnight stay went up $95 and would have been $245 additional if I hadn't argued with them. To be honest, it was an extremely nice resort, and even though I didn't get to participate in any activities, they had plenty that I would be interested in. I wouldn't balk at the rate including the package charge if they were up front in the pricing. But I dislike paying what I assume is the entire cost through hotels.com and then finding out after the fact that there are other mandatory charges. It just feels sneaky and wrong. And their attitude about the kids was downright unacceptable. It took a good 20 minutes for them to stop saying "IF we let them stay." for Pete's sake they were 13, not toddlers and it was one night. It was not what I wanted to hear after driving all afternoon. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beautiful!"
We went for two nights to rewind before the new year. This place is really calming and also offers a ton of interesting classes. highly recommend! one note - there is an 18% resort fee + occupancy tax that are not included in your hotels.com price. This adds up! I didn't expect this when I departed and wanted to share just in case you're like me and […] sometimes fail to read the fine print. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel Surprises"
Hotel accommodations were fine, bed dipped in the middle, but we overlooked because the organic sheets were so comfortable. We were given a room with a handicapped shower, which we did not ask for nor were we aware we were going to get this. We booked at the last minute and just assummed that this was the last available room at this location. Front […] desk staff were extremely friendly. We ate dinner the first night at the restaurant and you are not given alot of options on what is being served - food was awesome but a little pricey, we choose to eat off the property for dinner each day afterwards. I am not sure I would recommend - this is truly a self help type place with the spa and other activities that are provide self improvement. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Travaasa - great relaxing get away"
We booked the Travaasa for 1 night at the last minute and were so glad that we did. It is a wonderful spa retreat. Even though we were there less than 24 hours we went swimming, took a nice hike, did a meditation class, aqua yoga (which was wonderful) and had 2 delicious, healthy meals. The staff are all friendly and very accomodating. The surroundings […] are beautiful and although the map made it look like we would have quite a walk between activity locations that wasn't the case at all. We definitely want to go back for a longer stay. We met the manager just before checking out and he was very receptive to my one suggestion that they have the lawn crew choose another time for the lawn blower rather than just as you are leaving the meditation class (in a zen state). The room that we were in was very small, just enough room to walk around the bed, so if I stayed for a longer period I would try to upgrade to a larger room. Definitely worth a visit. Added bonus, it is only about 10 minutes away from The Oasis on Lake Travis if you get restless for outside food, micro-brew or dancing, also sunset over the lake is gorgeous. Travaasa is a great find!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great getaway!!"
My husband and I recently stayed at Travaasa for one night, and it wasn't long enough! It was truley a relaxing experience; a home away from home of sorts (only this 'home' had an infinity edge pool, while ours lacks in that area). The grounds were beautiful, the surroundings were beautiful, and I wish we had more time to take advantage of the activities […] while we were there. We will definitely be going back some day. "a cabin-like stay"
Amazing rooms, with spectacular views! Many outdoor activties are offered, so plan a visit during good weather! Free activities are included in your stay like yoga classes, guided hikes, art classes, journaling, meditation, cooking demonstrations, pilates, etc. Rooms are like 'cabins' because they are separated from the dining hall and everything else. […] Treat yourself to a spa visit, it is well worth it! This resort is a very health conscious place, that centers around holistic and environment friendly living. We were treated like royalty! "A perfect, quiet get away"
I had a fabulous stay at the Crossings. The food was delicious, it was quiet and peaceful and I had a wonderful view from my room. I had gone to be by myself and to think through some things and the Crossings fit the bill. I walked on the trails, did some meditation in the sanctuary and just enjoyed myself.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Relaxing escape with close access to the city"
My husband and I spent one night at the Crossings, in a rare opportunity to have a night away from parenthood. It was all we could have asked for. Relaxing, serene, quiet, beautiful scenery, clean, comfortable rooms. There are classes you can take (most are free - yoga, group hikes, cooking demos) and a full service spa if you want to indugle. Location […] is only 10-15 minutes from major artery of town, with restaurants and such, but you feel like you are very far away from the city. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Entspannung pur."
Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
