Very quiet, at the end of a dead-end road. It almost has it's own private beach, since it's far from the main beach access at Colva. The only complaint is that the staff is a bit distant and not the friendliest. The a/c in the common area was also not working. Overall very relaxing. A ways away from the main town. If you want quiet this is for you.

Every thing was nice and organised,Airport Pick up perfect,Nice Taxi(owned by hotel)reasonable price, Air conditioned big Room, Swimming pool , Rooms were cleaned every day,nice food, hotel has couple of mopeds to hire which is cheapest option to get around, Siddesh(owner) Nillesh (smiley) of this small hotel were doing every thing what we asked for, room service was perfect, free breakfast was good, *you will get a huge coffee :)* looking forward to go back, hotel is on small village road,but you get every thing inside :)

10 minute walk to the beach, shopping just right outside the property, great food at their beachcomers outdoor restaurant, awesome massage therapists, spacious and clean rooms with mini referigerators and water boiler for tea/coffee. can rent a moped/scooter on-site for a reasonable price. would definitely stay there again!

Location.
Situated near the beach in Calangute, Resorte Santa Monica is close to St. Anthony's Chapel, Calangute Beach, and Baga Beach. Also nearby are Anjuna Beach and Candolim Beach.
Hotel Features.
Resorte Santa Monica has an outdoor pool and a children's pool. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas (surcharges apply). This Calangute hotel offers a restaurant, a poolside bar, and a bar/lounge. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning. The staff can arrange tour/ticket assistance, limo/town car service, and tour assistance. Additional amenities include laundry facilities, room service (during limited hours), and a hair salon. The hotel is good. The rooms are clean. Need to improve hotel service. Overall its a value for money. I would recommend this hotel to my friends for sure.

"santa monica.goa"
the only best part of the resort is its very near to the beach (1 min walk ) and location is very good .. the cleaniness was good .....but the comfort level and the food was not very good ..... the breakfast was bad .......

"Resort Santa Monica Calangute"
Lets be honest...Its not the Taj...you get what you pay for. If you've never been to Goa you could be disappointed with the hotel but I spoke with many guests who had been to Goa many times.The general view was that it was the best hotel they had stayed in.Ive done 5* and lived in tents.caravans etc. The rooms are basic but functional. Shower room had […] hot and cold water. The bed...well its not as at home but hey ho...sheets and towels replaced every day(I dont do this every day!). Ive read others complain about the dogs barking but if you've ever been abroad you'll know this is common...the barking dogs were guard dogs ...the 'wild' ones were sleepy and even friendly.The pool was clean and maintained.
