"clean and comfortable"
good value, friendly, clean and comfortable. Close to town centre.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room too small, no bath [shower only], no premium TV channels [Sky Sports etc].Genuine Expedia guest review
Lovely place, great staff, lovely food, near to town centre. Ideal for business trip. Downsides - lack of hotel parking (although public parking to the rear) and wi-fi extra.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel, nice quiet room."
Good hotel close to exeter medical campus. Bed was a little hard, iron and board in room and shower only no bath. Would stay again as I booked through expedia and got one night for 44.10.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very close to the centre of Exeter but very quiet"
Good breakfast, friendly staff and very clean rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
Found the hotel to be really clean. Nice modern room without being over the top. Good size bathroom. My only criticism is that not knowing Exeter, parking was not at all obvious to me. There is a pay & display right behind the hotel, but on checking out was asked if I needed a ticket for a barriier. Website doesn't say if they have got an agreement […] with a nearby car park. Would definately say here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Extremely helpful and welcoming staff."
We had taken our own extra comfy pillows with us to the hotel and then left them at the hotel by mistake.! We returned 12 hours later and they had been kept in lost property for us and staff were able to return them straight away.Genuine Expedia guest review
A downside of the shower facilities is that all showers are "fixed". This means as a short person it is not possible to have a shower without washing ones hair - not very convenient. The shower cubical in the room I occupied was in need of a deep clean and there was also a cracked wash basin.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Parking not on site but close. Good breakfast but the menu for dinner not so impressive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The heating system in our room kept turning itself off in the middle of the night, Not very good is you have asthma triggered by the cold. The 2 members of staff on reception could not deal quickly with people booking. Did not appear to have worked out an effective system of separating those who already had booked from those just turning up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall very disappointing. Staff very helpful when asked. Very complicated internet access which was not explained on arrival on check out I was told that the information in the room was out of date and should have been removed. Unable to get TV to work and when did not able to turn off. Bar very expensive. you expect to pay a bit more but this was […] a lot more. For the money I would not choose them again. "Nice hotel for a quick visit to Exeter"
Great location and perfect for a short break to Exeter. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Only two things let them down. The the lack of hotel parking. You have to pay to park in either the local council car park or in multistory over the road (although there is a hotel discount for parking in this car park) . The other […] issue was that we had to pay £10 for 24 hours of internet access, which is a bit frustrating in this day and age and adds up to a significant amount if you stay for more than a couple of days. Overall though, we would recommend for a short stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"good mid range"
very clean room not as small as I had expected having read other rooms - perfectly big enough, shower not bath, had a noisy group on my floor - but not the hotels fault. Food was very tasty though not cheap. Close to the city centre and parking close by though chargeable. The Hotel offers the NCP at reduced rate but it's actually cheaper to park in […] the Triangle car park behind the hotel, though you will need £6.20 of coins for 24 hours compared to £7 for the NCP Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Centrally situated near to Exeter shopping center"
Nothing special about this hotel in fact it's a bit of a rip off with what it offers. It was a last option as I could not get into the hotel I had stayed in before when visiting Exeter. Firstly, I asked for a quiet room - I think this may be impossible at this hotel as it is located on a main rd off a roundabout & directly behind it is a public car […] park which seems to be used as a group meeting place. My room had a fire escape door which when it was windy outside caused this door to rattle all night. Secondly, the hotel has no free car parking. It cost me £7 a day extra to park my car in a 24hr car parking multi story car park located across the front of the hotel ( hotel pays £2 of you stay). I was not quite expecting this on top of the 2 night accommodation cost which I also thought was expensive in comparison to other similar rated hotels in Exeter. Thirdly, you get 1hrs free wifi on the condition that you purchase from the bar/restaurant - cheek! Lastly, the bed linen had holes in it & room was kitted out to bear minimum. No little nice surprises here! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Overall a great Hotel"
From the moment you check in to the minute you leave, all the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. Really great stay and will visit again soon!!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value, great location."
Another great stay at the Jurys Inn Exeter. As a relatively new hotel, it still feels clean and comfortable. It's in a wonderful location, within walking distance of all major Exeter landmarks. Very friendly staff, and clean rooms help create a welcoming atmosphere. If the price is right, I'll definitely be returning soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very convenient location, lady at check in very helpful. Moved us to a twin room and made sure we were near the lift as my husband has walking difficulties.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Central hotel without the frills"
Nice clean central located hotel with good facilities. Unfortunately we booked a family room with a cot. There was no room for the cot for us to move around the room so the cot was rammed under the TV forcing us to walk over the bed to get out the room! Check in was also very very slow!Genuine Expedia guest review
We were visiting family, who live in Exeter so we didn't spend much time in the hotel. It was fine for what we wanted. Clean beds, en-suite, tea and coffee making , etc. The parking wasn't too bad either because we could leave it on the municipal car park overnight (free from 6pm to 8am). There's also a big cinema over the road and a short walk to shops, […] cafes, etc.So all in all an enjoyable stay. On the negative side, the breakfast was nice, but overpriced and the Wi-Fi is very expensive. However if you bought a drink (or anything else) from the bar you got an hour's free Wi-Fi. Location is very convenient. If you are a Christian, Belmont is just 3-min by walk. It's no more than 10 mins from High street from where you can get all the shopping. The only minus is no free Wi-fi.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent value and really comfortable beds. The breakfast is also very good value if you pay in advance. WIFI charges a bit on the steep side. Overall I would definitely look at Jury's Inns as one of the options when I am travelling. The location is spot on for Exeter town centre. We were visiting the University which is about 20 mins walk away. Adjacent […] parking is convenient and competitively priced via the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient base but a bit plastic"
Good, clean hotel convenient for the city centre and bus station. Staff helpful and friendly but the hotel is rather characterless and located in a semi-industrial area next to a busy road. I'd stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value for money"
Although my room was right next to the lifts, I was not disturbed by it. Note if you are using your car during your stay - the Triangle car park will be better than the one quoted on Jurys Inn website. (Triangle is free between 6pm - 8am) but has less security than the other car park.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right place right time"
A good and reliable hotel.I have now stayed in a number of different rooms and have not yet been able to get the heating ventilation right. It is a bit noisyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient and comfortable."
Convenient and comfortable for a break in Exeter. Staff were very helpful and upgraded our room when the one allocated smelt very strongly of cigarettes. Beds, bathroom, towels etc all good quality. Breakfast reasonable value for money.Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed here for one night. Hotel is fine and parking over the road for £7 per night. Drinks are expensive, £4.90 for a Baileys. Breakfast was very poor quality. Fried eggs were still really raw on top, sausages probably had about 20% meat content and tasted horrible. "Not good service"
The reception guy who checked us in was particularly unfriendly and unhelpful - no smiles and speaking very fast as though he couldn't wait to finish our check-in. However, other staff were friendly and helpful. It was expensive particularly considering there was no complimentary wi-fi, wired internet or breakfast. The cost of internet was extortionate. "Staff miserable, hotel great location"
We booked the hotel via Expedia - when we arrived check in was fine however when we got to the room the room was only set up for three people and there were four of us - 2 adults and 2 children. When we went down to reception the receptionist seem quite surprised that Expedia had allowed us to book for the four of us. They eventually got us another […] bed however they were very miserable about it. I find this quite shocking that the receptionist claimed that they didn't usually do four people in a room (2 adults and 2 children) however the brochure in the room advertised a leisure break stay for a family (2+2) at this hotel. Location wise was great and although parking was across the road at the NCP car park it was very easy to find a space. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Has everything you need."
A typical 3 star hotel, well situated in the centre of Exeter. There is a full range of facilities - restaurant, bar etc. - and the bedrooms are well equipped and comfortable, if a bit drably decorated. The restaurant is small and gets busy at breakfast times and many of the staff we saw there were young & a bit inexperienced leading to the odd lapse […] in service standards. There is a secure pay carpark across the street, but there is a discounted rate for hotel guests. WiFi access is available, but is way too expensive. One way round that is to buy something in the bar or restaurant, which gets you an hour's access free. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This time I only stayed for one night whilst passing through Exeter, but I have stayed here before. I managed to get a double room to myself at much the same rate as a single room would have been. I visit Exeter fairly regularly and this is one of the hotels that I do like. Unfortunately Exeter is an expensive city to stay in, especially during the […] summer....so a stay is always a bit more expensive than I would have liked. I did pay extra to have breakfast at a slightly discounted rate. The breakfast is, however, good, with a wide selection of hot and cold options. There was a board which also stated that you could ask staff members for gluten free bread, soya milk and vegetarian sausages too. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very convenient location, great hotel."
Very convenient hotel as just down the road from my daughters flat. Thought we had booked Room Only but when checked in were told that it was bed & breakfast which was a nice surprise. The room was air conditioned, very welcome as it was 30c outside! Could not fault the hotel at all, all staff pleasant and courteous. Room very comfortable and breakfast […] excellent with plenty of choice. Car park round the back with plenty of room, free to blue badge holders but otherwise chargeable. Parking in Exeter difficult at the best of times as many streets residents only. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent For an Overnight Stop"
Thought hotel offered good value for money an was absolutely what was required for a one night stop over ahead of my son's graduation ceremony. The rooms we had were perfectly comfortable and we found the staff to be both pleasant and helpful. Was a particular bonus for us that breakfast (which provided an excellent and varied choice) was served from […] 6.30 which meant that we were able to participate fully ahead of our 7.30 departure! Overall very good for our requirements. Lunch was very very slow, and there was no-one else eating in restaurant. Had to chase twice and then had to eat our food in 5 minutes as had to leave. Other than that all good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Plenty to do in Exeter"
The hotel is in a good location, and has an overnight discounted parking scheme with NCP, which is very useful as the car park is opposite and you can park right outside the hotel whilst dropping bags. The room was reasonable size and comfortable, the views are limited to the front of the building as it overlooks the main road. The rooms are modern and […] as such you can here most things from the corridor ,there also seemed to be a large gap under the door which didn't help along with some other noisy occupants in the corridor. The option of pre booked breakfast was £8,which compares to the many restaurants locally. it is a short walk to the centre and Exeter Quay has some lovely walks along the canal and around the cathedral green. "Not so good"
Quite a few disadvantages! For the price they charge for the rooms it's not so worth it. I have stayed at quite a few hotels in Exeter and in Devon and this one has been by far the most disappointing. They charge a fee of wireless whereas the guests in the restaurant who pay a tenth of what you pay do the room get an hour of wifi for free! Extra charges […] for breakfast which is disappointing as well! And the rooms are not so sound proof. Hotel has no parking available so ars have to be inconveniently parked elsewhere and there is a charge for that too, unlike other hotels! Sadly an unpleasant stay Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
