From the time we arrived and up until the time we left, the staff at the hotel were excellent and most obliging. The only problem that we encountered was that the rooms are not very sound proof. Great location, new facilities. I loved that the site is just back from the main road, close to the 401 and main strip but removed enough to not hear the traffic. Tim's and other fast food restaurants were less than 3 minutes away. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

With the exception of the final night of my stay I have no major complaints. The only inconvenience was having to evacuate the hotel twice within 30 minutes due to a fire alarm. According to hotel staff the reason for the alarm sounding was apparently the installation of a sensor that was installed to close to the hot tub, and this happened everytime […] the steam reached the sensor. The hotel delivered wonderful service AND a beautiful room. I was wary about the low price of the nightly rates...but was I ever thrilled! The linens are pristine. Very, very clean rooms and amenities. There is a guest laundry room that is not mentioned in the amenities provided by the hotel. I will definitely come back!

They put our room next to an exit door, so the next morning all we heard was the outside door banging shut. Shower handle came off in my hand when I went to take a shower in the morning,thankfully I was able to put it back on, but told the front desk on our departure.

Enjoyed our stay. Quiet location and comfortable bed. Location just of main highway 401 and many amenities only a short drive from the hotel. Staff were all pleasant and accommodating. Simple but very nice continental breakfast in the morning as we checked out. Will defiantly recommend to travelling friends and family members

I have recently learned that tips for the maid staff should be left on the pillow each day. Firstly because the staff will know the tip is for them and not be accused of taking loose change left on a table or desk top. Secondly if you wait until the end of your stay the maid who cleans the room the last day gets it all and that may not be the same person […] who cleaned your room all the other times. I left my tip on the pillow for the first night and I received a lovely note from the maid who was very grateful to receive it. That was a nice touch. I have never received a thank you before. Hotel is small but suitable. Had problem one night with noise. Kids hockey tournament going on that weekend and they were roaming thaa halls at 1 am making lots of noise. We booked this hotel because we found a very reasonable rate on hotels.com. We liked the fact that the hotel was new, and very clean. The pool was enjoyed by us and our kids and was well-maintained. The staff were very friendly. My only concern was that we arrived at the end of a weekend when there was a local dog show on, and the first smell inside […] the door was that of dogs. We were generally very happy with this hotel. New, very clean, nice rooms for the price range. Only complaint was noise levels in the morning. We woke up both mornings of our stay at 5:00 am due to a previous guest in another room leaving their in-room alarm on. Suggest cleaning staff ensure that all alarm clocks are turned off. My husband and I loved this hotel. It was perfect. Very clean, very comfortable. The bed was perfect. We both slept like babies. The hotel was very clean. Everyone was very friendly. This was the second time that I stayed at Microtel in Woodstock. We liked it so much that we decided to stay again when the opportunity arose. The hotel is very modern with beautiful well-equipped rooms with a nice little window seat which the children loved. There was an indoor pool and exercise room. Our stay also included a free Continential Breakfast […] served in the lobby. The folder that our room key came in had discounts for 4 or 5 restaurants that were nearby. My 2 brothers and I stayed at this hotel for à whole week and found it to fully meet our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. They gave us the feeling that we were welcome. The room was kept spic and span. We can wholeheartedly recomend this hotle to others.
