The hotel was full and that was too much for the valet, elevators, and breakfast buffet, all were slow or crowded so we had to wait, wait and wait some more. Probably a better property when only 70 percent full.

Although my room looked nothing the the illustrations on the website, it was still a nice room. The hotel staff were professional and courteous and the hotel location was perfect for my trip to the aquarium, it was maybe a three minute walk if that. If I'm ever in the Baltimore area again, I'd most likely stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel while attending a conference held at the convention center. The ~1 mile walk to the convention center was enjoyable as it took me down the bustling street along the inner harbor. The room itself was okay, nothing spectacular. The free breakfast was fairly typical, mostly cold continental with the addition of breakfast sandwiches […] and a waffle maker. The only real complaint I have is with the layout, there is only one elevator servicing the majority of the hotel, which makes for a very slow "commute" from the top floor down to breakfast in the morning. Normally I would just take the stairs. But the stairs near the elevator don't have access to the first floor, they lead to the other guest rooms floors and then down and out for emergencies. The staircase that does lead to the ground floor is tucked away in the back of the corridor and is horribly inconvenient, worse than waiting over 5 minutes for the elevator. Read more

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a GREAT location for the Inner Harbor, especially for kids' highlights like Port Discovery Children's Museum (across the street) and the National Aquarium (2 avenue blocks away). This hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Inner Harbor and about 15- to 20-minute walk from Camden Yards and the Ravens stadium. You can take the light rail train from the airport into downtown and walk to the hotel. It's also a quick taxi ride to the port to get on a cruise ship.

Very nice hotel, a lot of amenities and great location. Shower wasn't the best, interesting design and water pressure not the best. Bed was comfortable but pillows are small, the size of throw pillows. Large tv though and ample space in the bathroom and bedroom for two to get ready in a King size.

The breakfast service however is relatively poor; it is very much a self-service simple breakfast (cereal, milk, juice, etc. - the frozen sandwiches are horrible, try to avoid them.) The service of the breakfast area is terrible - the attitude of the female attendants is arrogant and […] careless (except a male person the first day, who was very nice!). They close the area abruptly at 9:00 AM, without asking those being there if they need anything. Often, there is no juice or milk, and I had to go to the front desk to inform them, because there is no one around! In Baltimore on business. Hotel choice was due to convenient location. Overall experience was positive. Friendly staff, clean hotel common area and rooms, nice, on the go breakfast selections. My only compliant is my room location, 2nd floor facing Presidents Street. Morning traffic starts early and is loud. Other than that, I would recommend.

The room itself was clean and the hotel was in a great area of the inner harbor. Our expectation was that this hotel was on the water, and I am unsure if that was our mistake. However, the hotel staff was rude and unhelpful. We understood the hotel was full; however had the front desk folks been polite we wouldnt have been displeased. We were early […] for check in and they took bags, when asked when the room would be ready she snapped and said shed call when it was ready. We came back at check in time and when asked if the room was ready, the other lady snapped and asked if I had received a call. I said I had not but 3 was check in time. When the room was ready we went up we realized that the pull out couch was barely big enough for one. We needed it to fit two. We called and asked if it was possible to get a cot and were snapped at again, with "I told you the hotel is full." My friend had valeted her car, paid the man $30 to receive her car back, he took it and she left. She called and said she didnt think something was right and that it might end up being charged to the room. When I went to check out it had been charged to the room. I explained the situation to the girl and she yelled at me and told me that our friend was supposed to pay inside. Her valet ripped her off, not sure she was getting it. We recently stayed for one night and found the hotel a great location for visiting the aquarium, inner harbor and nightlife. Room was clean and the staff was very helpful. Very nice valet service and parking too. The property could use another elevator to make entry and checkout faster. Will stay there again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites. The hotel was quiet, the room and bathroom was fairly large and the beds were extremely comfortable. The Hotel was conveniently located a few blocks from the harbor, around the corner from Little Italy and right by the Charm City Circulator stop.

We love this hotel!! It's always clean, elegant, easy to find, and so close to everything!!! No need to get the car out when everything is in walking distance. This is our 4th stay here and it's still as nice as when it opened. It's our go-to place in Baltimore for a quick getaway weekend.

We travelled with our 3 kids, all under 6 and had no issues walking the .2 mile to the Aquarium or across the street to Children's museum. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical of Fairfield Inn.

Hotel is well situated - close to Inner Harbor and Little Italy. Room was clean but had a feint smell of smoke. Although our room was a suite - the open plan nature of the room may be difficult for those that particularly choose a suite because of young children. The Restaurant affiliated with the hotel is terrible. After a long day we chose to go there […] for convenience but after waiting for food for almost an hour after placing the order we gave up - the waitress had just disappeared. Tried to complain to the manager but met with more frustration since he felt it more important to answer a phone call and sell candy to people in the store than deal with us.
