"Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tsukuba"
Nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. Right next to shopping and the train station. Very good place to stay. Only thing would be nice is to have a gym facility -they don't have one. But I went running in the local area and that was nice and easy.

My single room is a bit cramped but the internet connection is very fast indeed. However, the tv channels are all in Japanese. Not a single English language program. The hotel is very close to everything, the bus and train terminals and the shopping complexes
